Went here today for a baby shower. It was an absolutely lovely day in there. All the food was handmade. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was quirky and cosy in there. Would definitely recommend it for and afternoon tea or just for your normal brekfast or lunch. If I didn't live so far away it would definitely be our weekly meeting point.

Afternoon tea was a delight and is now our go-to place whilst the grandparents watch the kids. We booked in for afternoon tea and was greeted with a really warm welcome and a singing chef, which also makes you feel very comfortable. Tea was superb and presented in a lovely China set. Sandwich selection was delicious. The cakes, well, just chefs kiss! Beautiful. Price point we were very impressed and left there with a little takeaway box. We are looking forward to returning to our next visit already.

Three of us had afternoon tea at Greenwood at the end of November, and we were very impressed. (We have been for many afternoon teas in many places over the years). To start, the sandwiches were perfect; fresh and moist bread -they'd been made for our arrival- and excellent fillings. The little bit of homemade coleslaw in the cheese added an extra flavour dimension, and the ham was particularly tasty. The scones were the chef/owner's seasonal novelty with a little mincemeat in rather than sultanas -delicious, and the two pieces of cake per diner were from the selection baked in the shop. I like real cake; too many afternoon teas rely on macarons and weird pots of chocolatey goo that you eat with a teaspoon. Here the banana cake was delicious! The only slight reservation was that all the food needs plenty of tea to wash it down, and the young man kept bringing only half a pot at a time (but he was new). Finally, the retro crockery was very pretty, and we had a nice chat with the owner. Overall, a delightful and good value experience; special!

Hadn’t tried before, stopped in today after walking the dog in cheam park. We weren’t that hungry as had a cooked breakfast this morning , but stopped for a coffee and a cake. Such a delightful place, the people that run it are so kind and friendly. And the Victoria sponge was to die for. The prices are very reasonable. We will be back with a bigger appetite to try lunch with some friends. Give your money to a lovely local business not Starbucks. Thank you .

These guys know what they're doing! Coffee is served quickly and absolutely spot on. The team are all brilliant and friendly, taking time to chat and know their customers even when the place is busy. The atmosphere they have created is the reason we come back time and time again and making it part of our day! Thank you guys

The Light House Soft Play Cafe

We booked the whole place for our daughter's 6th birthday. Shansel was so helpful and supportive. It is a very nice, open and exciting place for kids with soft play cage with slide, spinner, mini climbing wall, ball shooter. The baby's room was so nice, colourful and exciting as well with glowing light pole, wall puzzles, ball pit, smaller soft play furniture. All the kids were so happy and enjoyed it a lot. I highly recommend this place, will definitely be here again! Thanks Shansel! 🤗

What a super find! A really good balance of soft play for 3+ years old (soft play cage with slide, spinner, mini climbing wall, ball shooter), a baby area (glowing light pole, wall puzzles, ball pit, smaller soft play furniture) plus a little space with a toy kitchen and builders stuff. They had 2 vegan cakes, which was great! Plus smoothies. I don’t think I saw any hummus on the menu, which would be a nice addition for maybe a vegan dipping plate with pita etc. Has a pushchair park out the front. Was a 10-15 minute brisk walk from the train station (but there’s also a bus stop just along from it too). Will definitely be back. Lovely staff too!

Lovely food with a good selection for vegetarians. Dog friendly both inside and outside the cafe. Hubby said his burger was great quality meat and very tasty. My teriyaki salmon bowl was delicious. Large selection of drinks and a few treats for dogs too. Service was fast and efficient.

We had breakfast with Santa this morning and we loved it. The children's presents were really good and age relevant. It was our first visit to The Orchard, but will certainly be back. The staff were absolutely brilliant, we couldn't fault it. Well done to all of you. X

We just stopped in here for a quick drink and bite to eat. Staff seemed nice and pleasant. Dogs allowed inside - seating areas in and out. Looks like it could get busy in the summer when the kids are off school, it was busy enough when we were there mid afternoon. Nice menu if a little limited, some gluten free options available.

Excellent warm welcoming service. Beautiful atmosphere inside the cafe. Value you for money. Only thing let it down was the mushrooms were burnt and toast tasted burnt.

Tried this place. Very clean and well presented shop with really polite staff. A nice addition to the high street. I had the ice cream, but will be back to try some of the other desserts and cakes/waffles. One thing i would say is that there is a technical difference between ice cream and gelato. This shop serves Ice cream rather than gelato, To have proper authentic gelato one has to go to Italy :-)

Visited post Nando’s meal with the family for some ice cream and coffee to take away and really enjoyed it. The shop is clean and tidy and well decorated, they had a good selection of ice cream and the coffee was decent too. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, decent place to pop in to with seating.

Visited this lovely joint a few days ago, early in the morning. Absolutely loved everything! The service was impeccable, the breakfast I got was arguably the best I’ve had yet! The sourdough was perfect, I usually find myself sawing through it due to the density but this was absolutely perfect & everything combined was amazing. The service was perfect too (wish I got the servers name, she was so lovely & accommodating for my little one too!). If you love a brunch & coffee, you’ll love this place - also had a huge dessert menu, already looking forward to coming back again!

What a little find, I was blown away, by the service with a smile, the passion, and the products. Have to say a special thank you to Shivam, he was engaging even though he was busy, and all the orders were licked clean. The prices are very reasonable, but the portion sizes are a bit larger compared to other places I've been to. Seconds would have been nice but the family decided I had enough, even after licking the bowls clean. Well done guys, great little place to eat in or take out.
