Bricks Coffee House

This is a busy little cafe, staff were incredibly helpful, nothing too much šŸ˜ (There is another cafe in Notcutts next door, staff in there were rude and surly, we had only just ordered our drinks and sat down and a member of their staff told us we had to drink up as it was 4:30 and the cafe closed at 5 and she wanted to clear our table.) Go to Bricks, have a lovely coffee with pleasant staff who are pleased you see you šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ˜

Great place for a coffee stop especially compared to other local places; lovely staff that make such an effort to accommodate and the cake choices are good - i can highly recommend the ginger loaf, a big piece thatā€™s surprisingly light and non sickly . Weā€™ve also had the toasted sarnies and the only slight negative is I wish they also did sourdough toasties here then itā€™d be perfect! But at least thereā€™s always a heated sausage roll or toasted cheese scone & marmite until then šŸ˜Š. Had the best iced cappuccino on warmer days, very well made here, as theyā€™re never quite right anywhere else.

Was heading to Nottcuts Garden Centre and had seen good reviews about this place so decided to drop in. Happy to say the reviews were right for once, lol. Lovely staff, very friendly, and although they were closing early when we went in they didn't rush us at all. The cake I had, the ginger cake, was delicious. Moist and very tasty. The hot chocolate was even better. Can't recommend this place enough!!

Little Fant Farm is a free great place to take the little ones for an adventure. The pumpkin patch was excellent and muddy! Lots of pumpkins! There are pigs, ponies, chickens and ducks. There is also a cafe which sells lovely homemade cakes and savouries with seating area and face painting. Lots of parking space and itā€™s dog friendly. Defiantly a nice morning or afternoon can be spent here. Recommend

Had a fantastic Sunday afternoon at Little Fant Farm for a 60th Birthday celebration Afternoon Tea in the Teepee & Orchard. What a wonderful setting. The Afternoon Tea was delicious with all dietary needs considered. Staff were friendly and attentive. Bonus that we could pick plums and sunflowers on the day we visited for a small fee. Would definitely recommend.

We visited on a Sunday for coffee and cake. Wonderfully tasty homemade cakes at a very reasonable price. The vibe was good and a 5th birthday party was going on, it was lovely to see them all having a great time. We picked plums and sunflowers for a small price. An excellent place for adults and children alike.

I visited last week, and was pleasantly surprised! One member of our group has a gluten allergy, but the staff catered brilliantly for us and made a gluten free cheese toasty especially, which was wonderful. All the pastries were home made and tasted good, and the staff were all happy and helpful. Would definitely reccomend and would go again!

Visited for some Pumpkin Picking. Such a wide range of pumpkins to choose from. Grown on site which was lovely to see. Free to park and enter. Also had fresh eggs and other produce to buy. It was lovely that dogs were allowed. Had a nice hot drink afterwards. It was all reasonably priced too. Great lilacs coffee all the family.

Fantastic place to stop for coffee and a snack if out walking or mountain bike riding like I was today. Had a flat white - was excellent as was the sausage roll. This will now be my preferred mid ride stop for this route. Blankets available with outside seating so you can enjoy a coffee even on those chillier days. Stopped by again a few days after this review mid ride. Coffee and steak pasty excellent. Really pleasant place to rest for a while by the river. PS be sure to look out for the bold as brass Robin who likes to snack on cake crumbs etc! June 2022 update - seats and chairs upgraded - this place continues to impress!

Lovely staff and lovely venue to sit and watch the world go by. Great for four-legged friends as well. Always have a sausage roll and a drink whilst the dog has a ice cream. Can get very busy at times as it's a very popular place.

Great place to visit for a snack and a hot drink whilst on a ride or walk. Recommend the hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. A lot of building works have been completed recently so the area is looking fresh and welcoming with a new outside seating and canopy incase itā€™s raining. Thanks again for the great hospitality

A favourite place to walk to, have a coffee and chill. Itā€™s a perfect location, friendly staff and high quality food. For such a tiny place they do amazingly well. Iā€™ve introduced many people to this little gem. The dog biscuits are genius. My dog wonā€™t walk past without joining the queue for her biscuit so our furry friends approve too!!

P: 01622 427665

Rating: 4.3 (683) Price Level:

Visited friends and they booked a table at this establishment. Had the pie, nice and tasty, good size, together with a good size portion of mash and veg. Other people all had good sized portions. The two staff members that dealt with us were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return when visiting our friends again.

Took my family here for a celebratory birthday meal and had a great time. Nice clean pub with friendly attentive staff, good food and pretty reasonable prices. The fries here alone are reason for coming - best Iā€™ve ever had. Only thing Iā€™d say is the desserts could be a bit more generously portioned, but still delicious all the same. Really appreciate the clarity on the menu in terms of providing for gluten free and vegetarian/ vegan customers. Definitely will come again!

After driving past this little pub numerous times we decided to stop off for some lunch , and Iā€™m glad we did ! We were greeted by a super friendly member of staff who showed us to our table, gave us five ins for drinks and then took our order. We had scampi and ham egg and chips , both were really tasty and the ham used in the ham egg and chips was delicious. For desert we shared a cheesecake , which came out as an individual portion with banana ice cream, again this was to die for!!! Well done to all the staff at the bull ā€¦.. we will definitely be returning, next time for Sunday roast

It is very seldom now when everything is perfect at a given cafe. But this place was the one for me. Lovely meeting smile. Welcome and nice atmosphere. Food was absolutely delicious, you can taste the quality. Also got a takeaway coffee in cute pink cup, you can pick alternative milk for free. Attention to details. As a bonus located in nice area. Thank you for our experience

When looking for a place to host my sisters baby shower, fed on the green stood out as a perfect little spot. Communications were really good and they accommodated us as a group of 15 after closing hours. They put on an incredible afternoon tea spread, and the service for drinks was great. I am so grateful to them, this is a perfect little gem for intimate occasions- Thankyou so much!

Esquires Coffee - Maidstone

23 Gabriel's Hill, Maidstone ME15 6HR, UK | Coffee Shop
P: Not available

Rating: 4.4 (407) Price Level:

A nice place to go for some food and a coffee. We went on a late Sunday morning for brunch and it was my first time going. I was not sure what the setup was with going to order your food/drink yourself. Could have had a little sign or one of the staff just letting me know but I figured it out in the end. The food and drink I don't have any complaints with as it was great. The apple juice tasted like I just put a straw in an apple. And the full English was lovely and fresh also with some amazing bacon. I would have liked to have a fried egg but they could only offer scrambled on the day. Overall a great place to eat and get a coffee. Would recommend.

Employees were very nice and welcoming. I ordered an almond milk latte and toast which was good (itā€™s kinda hard to f up toast). The latte tastes a lot like the one from Costa, not very strong

Moonlight Cafe

Rating: 4.4 (245) Price Level:

Tried this place for the very first time and it wonā€™t be the last. Food was lovely. Not greasy. We were first in on a Sunday morning and although it was chilly in there they soon warmed it up. I had the veggy breakfast as you cannot swap items and I donā€™t like bacon. Every set breakfast had bacon. That is my only complaint. Not bad eh? There were five of us and everyoneā€™s food was hot, delicious and plentiful. Will definitely be back.
