Nice little break in the morning at this coffee shop - You see lots of regulars come through! The service was impeccable, everyone is so friendly. The oats were really yummy, couldn’t recommend enough. 4 stars since it was cold at times and had it been under control, it would have made it a perfect experience!
Bought a take away coffee from Espresso lounge on a whim and didn’t regret it. It was the smoothest coffee I have tasted. The owners have so much knowledge and passion when talking about coffee, they really took their time with me. I bought a bag of coffee beans to go with it, and I can’t wait to treat my family to a Costa Rican fruity blend. Great experience!
I purchased some coffees and a selection of sweet treats to take away. In order: Cakes: Excellent. Had some brownies, flapjacks, carrot cake. Delicious Coffees: Excellent. Both milk drinks, but great stuff. Price: Premium. I felt like I received a premium product for a premium price, and I'm happy with that. A 5 out of 5 from me across the board. However, it brings me no pleasure to add negativity, but when paying I don't really want to see a request for a 15%, 20%, or 25% tip on the tablet display. Firstly, I'm taking my food away, why would I tip? Secondly, why would I tip before receiving anything? Thirdly, those actual percentages on screen are too high on an already fairly premium price. I have to give you this feedback mate, you run a top notch operation with real passion, but the way by which you are eliciting tips is a small, but noticeable, blemish on an otherwise great service and product. This configuration of tipping is an American thing, it's not the British way.
