Phone: 01298 873056
“We go here regularly when out on a ride in the area. There is a wide variety of typical cafe food to choose from including some appetising specials. Service is not always the fastest but that's probably due to the popularity of the place. There's a two tier ordering service which baffles me. It seems to be table service but I have seen customers come straight in, order at the counter and be served before seated customers 🤷🏼♂️. But that really is a minor point. Food is pretty good. Bap quality could be improved. Overall, a good place to visit and mingle with other bikers. PS, there are helmet stores by the door so that your table isn't cluttered. 👌”

“This is a really lovely Tea Room. We parked nearby and wandered in, past the beautiful entrance and the Queen Victoria postbox (the tea room also serves as the village post office). We were promptly welcomed and seated. The menu was really lovely, as was the food. The three of us really enjoyed the entire experience. So much so, we decided to top it off with ice cream!”

Hassop Station Cafe and Monsal Trail Cycle Hire
Hassop Station, Hassop Rd, Bakewell DE45 1NW, UK
Phone: 01629 815668
“At this place there is plenty of room to sit and enjoy some very nice food. There is a pizza van where you can order fresh pizzas. We had one of these and it was great. The guy who served us was really cheerful and chatty. There is seating outside that is undercover. We ate in the cafe on a separate occasion and were not disappointed with the food. The service was ok but I did feel that some of the staff were less cheerful than they could have been.”

The Lime Lounge Coffee House
2 Bridge St, Bakewell DE45 1DS, UK
Phone: 01629 815414
“The lime lounge café is situated out of the main hub of Bakewell & just a five minutes walk from the market , even at a slow pace !! & Is ideally situated to get away from the crowd's & is the ideal place for a good cup of tea , from the pot or a barista style coffee or even a glass of wine all at sensible cost for a tourist area ! . The lime also has a very good selection of food , all prepared fresh to order & it ranges from soup & sandwiches to panini & jacket potato options with fillings , plus the very tasty Derbyshire oat cakes which are a local speciality & I highly recommend the Derbyshire breakfast option for those with a good appetite as it has a good selection of local fayre on it of the highest quality e.g . Good bacon & traditional cheese & quality butchers grade sausage !! very nice with a pot of tea . They are plenty of options for the non meat eaters & for those with a sweet tooth as there is also a good selection of home baked sweets & cake options . The atmosphere is cosy & warm & relaxing & the decor is rustic & the combination of it's architectural past combined with vintage lighting features really do add to a intimate & cozy vibe , ideal for couples & families alike . The staff / owners are very welcoming & friendly & always make your visit a pleasant one . The lime is always a port of call when I visit Bakewell as it really is a good food , good service & a great value for money café . RECOMMEND SNACK BREAKFAST OAT CAKE .”
