First time here , lovely place spotless. Good atmosphere, pizza good, had the Vegan option ( cheese put on throughout cooking so went to liquid, should be put on 2 mins at the end) Great attentive service. On first floor so access could be an issue Will go again.
Great service and great food! There's an open kitchen so you can see your pizza being hand made and placed in the wood fired oven! There's a wide selection of pizzas and garlic breads to cater to everyone. I had the pork cheek pizza which was cooked to perfection and was full of flavour. I also got a goats cheese and caramelised onion garlic bread which was to die for! I'm not a pizza lover to be honest but I loved the food here and will be returning regularly. No matter where you're from, it's worth the drive, I promise!
Had a takeaway from here, lovely wood fired flavor, the base was nice but a little thick/chewy for me and the cheese was stringy but great price and much better than your typical take away pizza. Lots to like, just fell short for me but will be back to see if it improves. Oh I'm one of those weird people that likes ham and pineapple on their pizza which wasn't on the menu and I also didn't see chips or fries.
I started with the burratta and prosciutto salad. It was simple and gorgeous and a great start. I then just went with the straightforward pepperoni pizza. Again this was extremely good. It was washed down with a large glass of Merlot. Service was friendly and attentive without being over fussy, just the way I like it. The place itself was really good if a little on the quiet side. Would I go again, yes I surely would, without hesitation!
Excellent communication during our booking process. Couldn't be more helpful. Once at the restaurant it was a very friendly service without being overly fussy, just right. We had dough balls and foccacia for starters which were really good followed by the rustic pizza and also a ham/mushroom pizza. Lovely wood fired flavour, and one of the best pizzas (if not the best) I've ever had. Loved the ambience and atmosphere. We'll definitely be returning soon. A little hidden gem.
