Went for breakfast on a Friday morning at 9.30. Lovely venue close to the bridge. The service was quick, hassle free and staff were very polite and helpful. The food was perfectly cooked and very reasonably priced. Overall a very relaxing and satisfying experience ❤️
Lovely and warm when we arrived. The best flat white coffees we’d had all weekend. Strong and full of flavour, just the way it should be! Breakfast was served on hot plates and the food was piping hot. Fantastic quality of ingredients very impressed at the great value.
Delicious hearty breakfast served on a hot plate! Opens earlier than others in the town so good place to get some breakfast before heading off for sightseeing.
The lime lounge café is situated out of the main hub of Bakewell & just a five minutes walk from the market , even at a slow pace !! & Is ideally situated to get away from the crowd's & is the ideal place for a good cup of tea , from the pot or a barista style coffee or even a glass of wine all at sensible cost for a tourist area ! . The lime also has a very good selection of food , all prepared fresh to order & it ranges from soup & sandwiches to panini & jacket potato options with fillings , plus the very tasty Derbyshire oat cakes which are a local speciality & I highly recommend the Derbyshire breakfast option for those with a good appetite as it has a good selection of local fayre on it of the highest quality e.g . Good bacon & traditional cheese & quality butchers grade sausage !! very nice with a pot of tea . They are plenty of options for the non meat eaters & for those with a sweet tooth as there is also a good selection of home baked sweets & cake options . The atmosphere is cosy & warm & relaxing & the decor is rustic & the combination of it's architectural past combined with vintage lighting features really do add to a intimate & cozy vibe , ideal for couples & families alike . The staff / owners are very welcoming & friendly & always make your visit a pleasant one . The lime is always a port of call when I visit Bakewell as it really is a good food , good service & a great value for money café . RECOMMEND SNACK BREAKFAST OAT CAKE .
Nice place for refreshments whilst passing through, Loved the Bakewell pudding served hit with custard, Nice coffe too. Recommended. See you again soon.
