Had a full english, great value ..took a while to be served but the food was freshly cooked and hot.

Having moved to Ripley recently I was looking for a local cafe to have breakfast with my family and I’m so glad I chose here the staff are all really friendly and the food is always great I have been everyday this weekend with a few family members who also really enjoyed there visit too Thankyou for helping us find our feet in a new town merry Christmas to all staff highly recommended. Affordable with big portions and a clean environment everything you want in a local cafe 💙

Very very posh area now of denby pottery! And they have lot's and lots of very nice food and drink on display to be brought! It's almost like harrods standards. 😉👍 Plus if you looking for the cooking demonstration room..... that's all gone forever now and has been made into a cafe section serving hot food and drinks! 😉👍

First time we have been to this new addition at Denby’s. Quite a nice menu and meal deal system. We went for the afternoon tea, with a coffee and a tea. The scones were perfect and the price for both was really good. Service was very quick and they take cards. Plenty of seating but it does get very busy with most people opting for the breakfast cons even at lunchtime.

Denby lovely place and got what I came for fantastic. Had a bite to eat in The Farm shop, not much choice had a tea cake which is always lovely, coffee was like napalm, way tooooo hot and froth on cappuccino not good.

I like the idea of 2 counters, a quick service. Drinks n cakes, and the food dispensary. Just coffee for us this time.

We sat at tables in a covered, outdoor area which is clean, well organised and comfortable. Prices are clearly displayed and food is tasty and good value with little delay. There is an indoor area nearby. There's plenty of car parking but no toilets. If you don’t like someone smoking outside, you can move indoors. It's a good place to stop at after fishing or enjoying a walk by this part of Butterley Reservoir.

Beautiful location, decent breakfast cooked quickly with friendly, relaxed and efficient service. Black pudding would have been a nice addition on the breakfast but can’t complain given the reasonable price.

Great little cafe, owner and the girls that work for him are lovely especially SP. Does get busy but more than happy to wait. Food is great would highly recommend

Popped in for lunch. Lovely village pub, good quality food and beer. Friendly attentive staff. Will revisit.

First time having a proper meal at the Dog since the new owners took over. I had Sirloin wifey had lamb shank. Both really enjoyed our meal. Couldn't fault it. Desserts were awesome too. ❤️

Nice old pub, full of dogs! Had fish and chips light bites, fish was excellent and portion size very generous. Only slight criticism is that the trendy oblong plate was very inconvenient to eat from especially when it was full. However I really enjoyed the meal, comfortable dining chairs and friendly service. There's a lovely big beer garden for the summer too.

We visited on a very busy Sunday afternoon without a booking but were greeted with an extremely warm and friendly welcome and assured that they would find us a table- which they did very quickly. All the staff were very attentive and helpful. The Sunday roast was delicious. We will definitely be returning.
