This cafe used to be the Kouros cafe and now has a new name and new owners. I'm happy to say that the new place is just as good with regards to food and friendly service. The food now has a British bias rather than Greek, as per the previous venue. I had a full breakfast and a brew. This scored well on both quality and quantity. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
Fantastic café; we were made very welcome by all the staff. The food and service were great, especially the breakfast sandwiches. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Pro tip: there's a decent (and free at the time of writing) car park pretty much opposite the café. If you're motoring in, this is a battery option than parking on the road directly outside.
What a wonderful little cafe! My wife and I sat here the other day in the nice weather (which always helps). We both had drinks and a small sweet snack. The coffee was brewed well and tasted lovely. The food was great and of good portion size. Price wise … AMAZING it all came to just over £10, which in today’s money never normally gets you much. If you are visiting or even local, definitely worth a visit.
Popped in for a quick bite and really enjoyed it. One of us had the chicken omelette, the other had oatcakes with bacon and beans—both were fresh, tasty, and cooked just right. The service was friendly and welcoming, with a relaxed, casual vibe. Great little spot for a tasty meal—we’ll definitely be back!
Absolutely fantastic. So cozy and friendly. Room upstairs, so don’t panic if it looks like downstairs looks full. So friendly. Paul and his family made our experience so so good. I really hope you read this and pay them a visit. For a new adventure Paul and his family are nailing it.
