Always a friendly warm atmosphere from all the staff from the minute you walk in till the time you leave. Ashleigh has done my hair a few times now and always does a brilliant job. I leave the salon feeling amazing.

Anna was great asking lots of questions about how I normally wear/style my hair. She cut my hair exactly how she thought was best for my lifestyle. I was extremely pleased with the results and will definitely be visiting again in the future. The salon has such a nice feeling and all the staff are very friendly. It was nice to go somewhere that was so full of natural light and not artificial light, that always make me uncomfortable, when looking in the mirror. The owner has clearly thought a lot about customer experience and this is really shows

My half-head of highlights was expertly carried out by Zhanna today - she has a lovely caring and thoughtful attitude and I felt very well looked-after by her and the others in the salon. The end result was perfect and Zhanna even gave my fringe a quick trim to make sure I was looking my best before I left. I look forward to visiting again soon!

Had a restyle today with Ashleigh after not having a professional haircut for a long time. She was lovely, and knowledgable on what would suit my hair type and face shape. Very happy with the outcome- my hair looks much healthier, has more shape and bounce to it. She also did a wonderful blow dry at the end. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!

Having just had the most amazing cut and colour from Chevy am so pleased. For once have gone home and not fiddled with my hair. Even sleeping on it, only needs a shake and brush still looks so good, Must say I received such care and attention was wonderful, would most definitely recommend this salon and Chevy.

Such a lovely experience having my hair styled for a wedding. The girls here are so friendly & clearly know their stuff when it comes to hair - my curls survived an outdoor sunny ceremony, a night of dancing, and were still there when I brushed them out in the morning!! I took my 14 year old daughter to this new stylish and very current salon. Great it has parking and so easy to find. My daughter was very nervous and not sure what she really wanted. Becks took care of her the whole time, they picked what she wanted together and you really listened to her. It looked amazing and my daughter couldn't have been happier. I have been a client at Pure Poundbury for many years and have got to know the team very well. I receive a range of treatments and always come away feeling happy and nurtured. Yesterday was an update for my nails. Brittany is just the right shade of Pink to uplift my spirits. Thank you Steph I always enjoy a catch up while you work on my nails. When I visited this site I was saddened and somewhat appalled to see a negative message. I don't think this is the vehicle to write such messages. It came across as vindictive and I would question if it was initiated by a young girl. A review needs to be honest but a rant is a very different matter. All I wanted to do when I decided to post a review was comment about my Nail treatment at Pure and the professional standard of the Staff. The staff are always very friendly and immediately offer you a drink on arrival. It is an oasis of calm for the stressed! The rooms are well maintained and there are some excellent treatments. I especially like the the Anti-aging Caci which I receive once a month with Kate and Chrissie.There are also excellent monthly offers and this month I have taken advantage of a 10% discount on a block of Caci treatments. Which is a good saving. Over the years I have seen many apprentices start their career in this salon. It's a challenging time at 16 joining the workforce. Expectations may differ but I would have said from observation and Dorect knowledge as an ex Secondary School teacher that it a very supportive team at Pure and a young trainee can learn a lot from all the combined experience. Thank you Pure you have always provided an excellent service and I can thoroughly recommend you to new clients.
