Not being from the area, I googled to find a good hairdresser and beautician and I was so lucky to have come upon The Little Sanctuary in Gillingham. Lee cut and colured my blonde hair to perfection, natural looking and perfectly blended with existing colour. The manicure and pedicure were top class, hygenic, very professional and my nails look wonderful. Almost makes me wish I lived here! Thank you.....if I am ever in the area again I will definitely be rebooking

My sister hired Gill and her team for hair and make-up for her bridal party. It was a wonderful experience. Gill knew exactly what I wanted, was so lovely to chat with during the styling and my updo lasted all night. Thank you for making me look my absolute best!

I booked The little Sanctuary for my bridal hair and make up and I’m so glad I did! The whole experience from the trial to the wedding morning was so lovely! Through all the chaos of flower kids, bridesmaids and parents running around Gill and her team gave us stunning hairstyles and make up. We were all so happy with how our looks turned out. I went into Profile to see Beth for a long overdue cut and colour on my hair. I have really long, thick hair and it’s impossible to wear down around my 3 children so it’s often up in a bun or a ponytail which has ruined it. Beth has absolutely brought it back to life. Her hand painting balayage skills are second to none, I’ve never seen anything like it! She takes HUGE pride in her work, and her technique is amazing. You can really see how much she loves her work. Beautiful salon, very warm and welcoming and coffee on tap is a bonus for a tired mama. I walked out of there refreshed, with luscious and healthy hair and I could not be happier. Beth did an amazing job with the Olaplex Stand Alone Treatment! My hair feels incredibly soft and healthy. My curls feel so light and bouncy. The results were sooo good, and I couldn't be happier!! Lovely salon with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere 😊 Happily accommodated my Mum bringing my breastfed baby when needed 👶🏼, which meant my experience was stress free and I felt relaxed (as opposed to worrying about getting back to my baby) ☺️ So pleased with my hair colour and cut! Had a terrible experience of DIY at home colour during lock down ending up with very yellow/orange brassy roots. Melissa not only done the best job on my hair and corrected and cooled down the roots and overall colour but the week before my colour appt, when I went in for a consultation, she corrected a hair cut that I had just had done and I was very upset about. No questions asked she said "sit down i'll sort it". I showed her a picture and 10 mins later I had what I wanted. She had 10 minutes spare and helped me out when I'm sure she could have done with a break. Wish I'd found her sooner, she really knows her stuff. Won't go anywhere else and highly recommend.

Melissa is the best by far of all the hairdressers I have had. I do a 40 mile round trip to get to her that's how good she is. Cut perfect, colour great. Wouldn't go anywhere esle.

With so many barbers and hairdressers to choose from in Blandford, Cut Loose is by far the BEST. Great friendly staff and owner, and clearly the knowledge and skills to match. 100% highly recommend.

New Image are amazing. They give great advice, they listen to what you would like and if that is not possible they explain why and talk you through alternative options always listening to you along the way. I went to New Image for my hair to be put up for my son’s wedding which was held locally. It was such a fabulous experience at the salon. I had never been before and that made it difficult . Fern did it absolutely beautifully and the style was admired by many at the wedding. She talked through my style and made sure I was happy with it. She is such a creative and talented young girl. This is a friendly, happy and customer focused business. I might have to come over to Wareham for another appointment ! 🙏

Great bunch of girls every one of them equally as hard working and enjoy what they do & great to chat to. I Always feel very relaxed First time with Tilly (last pic) who is training in nails but amazed me how at 16 she is so fantastic & a pro already 😀 Recommend each & everyone one of them though!

I visited for the first time after months of needing a cut. The staff were warm and welcoming , which was a fabulous first impression. My assigned styling was very honest, letting me know that she would prefer to pass me to a more senior stylist, due to my hairstyle. I appreciated this honesty. My cut wasn't cheap but it was really well done and I like the finished style. The head massage was wonderful and so relaxing ! I think I probably overshared my life (! Lol)but my stylist, who I believe is the proprietor, was very lovely and didn't once show any kind of impatience with me..she was great!

I recently took my 3 year old daughter here for her first trim of her slow growing curly locks. I also had my 6 year son in tow. It was just before Christmas so the salon was very busy. We arrived just in the nick of time and were made very welcome. Although it was crowded, space was quickly made for us to get seated and Kate was attended to with professionalism and care. My son can be a little energetic at times and did wander down the salon a couple of times to be rapidly called back by me. At no time did I feel that there was any negative feedback from that by the staff. In fact the children were offered a sweet as a treat and the staff enaged with them when they could particularly Natalie the owner. Kate left feeling very happy. While I was sat there, I was able to observe the quality of the work that the team were creating for the clients of all ages. I would highly recommend and look forward to taking Kate along in future.
