After being let down by my local hairdressers, I needed to find somewhere to get my hair cut. I found a last-minute appointment with Lois at Shaftesbury. All staff that I seamed friendly, Providing a lovely atmosphere. I gave Lois very little input as to what I wanted. The haircut is amazing; I will be booking again when I need my next haircut. Definitely recommended

I booked The little Sanctuary for my bridal hair and make up and I’m so glad I did! The whole experience from the trial to the wedding morning was so lovely! Through all the chaos of flower kids, bridesmaids and parents running around Gill and her team gave us stunning hairstyles and make up. We were all so happy with how our looks turned out. Even after a night of dancing our hair was on point and our make up looked great! Thank you to Gill, Kitty and the rest of the team!

Not being from the area, I googled to find a good hairdresser and beautician and I was so lucky to have come upon The Little Sanctuary in Gillingham. Lee cut and colured my blonde hair to perfection, natural looking and perfectly blended with existing colour. The manicure and pedicure were top class, hygenic, very professional and my nails look wonderful. Almost makes me wish I lived here! Thank you.....if I am ever in the area again I will definitely be rebooking

I have all of my beauty treatments at Blushington, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The salon is lovely with a relaxing vibe. I love nothing more than getting a quick hour away from work for some girlie chat and getting my nails done.

Had a lovely hair cut today with Nadine. I didn't know what to do with my hair, but thanks to Nadine's knowledge I walked out with my hair looking much more healthy and with more volume! I also had a lovely head, neck and shoulder massage which was a really nice touch. Already booked back in for January! I recently took my 3 year old daughter here for her first trim of her slow growing curly locks. I also had my 6 year son in tow. It was just before Christmas so the salon was very busy. We arrived just in the nick of time and were made very welcome. Although it was crowded, space was quickly made for us to get seated and Kate was attended to with professionalism and care. My son can be a little energetic at times and did wander down the salon a couple of times to be rapidly called back by me. At no time did I feel that there was any negative feedback from that by the staff. In fact the children were offered a sweet as a treat and the staff enaged with them when they could particularly Natalie the owner. Kate left feeling very happy. While I was sat there, I was able to observe the quality of the work that the team were creating for the clients of all ages. I would highly recommend and look forward to taking Kate along in future.

I visited for the first time after months of needing a cut. The staff were warm and welcoming , which was a fabulous first impression. My assigned styling was very honest, letting me know that she would prefer to pass me to a more senior stylist, due to my hairstyle. I appreciated this honesty. My cut wasn't cheap but it was really well done and I like the finished style. The head massage was wonderful and so relaxing ! I think I probably overshared my life (! Lol)but my stylist, who I believe is the proprietor, was very lovely and didn't once show any kind of impatience with me..she was great!

I had my bridal hair done with sleek and chic and could not have been happier! Molly is a fantastic stylist and gave me such beautiful, long-lasting curls. The team were so helpful when I had to change my appointment time and did all they could to make sure my day was stress free. The girls all helped in ensuring my flower crown was fastened securely and made my hair look so natural. Thank you so much to all at sleek & chic!

Lovely salon with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere 😊 Happily accommodated my Mum bringing my breastfed baby when needed 👶🏼, which meant my experience was stress free and I felt relaxed (as opposed to worrying about getting back to my baby) ☺️ So pleased with my hair colour and cut! Sean is great at what he does! 💇🏼‍♀️ Highly recommend! ✨

Have had my hair cut by several people in this salon and always consistent with great service, a welcoming atmosphere, fantastic products and, most importantly, a hair cut that makes me feel so much better about myself. I feel the stylists are all so good at listening and understanding what I want. Popped in for a long overdue restyle on holiday, and very happy with the results. The salon is a lovely space and everyone was very friendly. Carrie cut my hair did a great job, she is very friendly and has great communication skills, so you get the cut you want. If you're in the area and need a cut I highly recommend seeing if there is an appointment available.

Billy is an absolute wizard at extensions and is so knowledgeable and talented at his craft, you will know that your search for a highly skilled hair salon has been completed! He will advise and guide you, answer all of your questions and help you to feel safe and confident in the decisions you will make together. Trust his vision, as he can see things that us mere mortals cannot, and I would never have dreamt that the colours we picked out would come together to create a mane worthy of a Disney main character! What a fabulous salon!!! I moved to Dorset from West London last year, and was concerned about the quality of hairdressing in a country village, being used to going to Trevor Sorbie. I needn't have worried when I chose the Salon on the square.... A beautiful environment, highly professional stylists and colorists... I had balayage and a really sassy bob cut.... I look fantastic!!! I had my first cut and colour with Claire.. She's brilliant (and sweet and funny), then, as she wasn't available for colour next time, I was looked after by Poppy, who was equally accomplished, and so, so lovely! Back again today for an even sassier and shorter bob with Claire again, and, after cutting my hair beautifully, I asked for shorter she obliged with a smile - even though she missed her lunch, due to me being THAT customer... You know, the one that's a bit of a pain in the A**. Bless her. Go.. Have a great experience!

Janemarie and all the team have been and continue to be amazing, they have looked after me so well, having broken my shoulder it has been impossible to wash my hair and do my nails, so I have been a regular visitor the past 3 weeks, and they have been so generous and caring. Last time I had a massage, wasn’t the best (many years ago in a spa). so I had a low opinion on them. After hearing good reviews about the massages, I bit the bullet & booked in last night for today. Just left the salon after having the promotion offer on a full body/deep tissue massage with the complimentary Indian head massage. After today, I will be back in for regular treatments. Jess, the lovely lady who provided me with the most OUTSTANDING service. Jess made me feel relaxed, comfortable and confident within the treatment. The room had this beautiful music playing, very calming atmosphere. Asked about the areas that affect me most, asked me questions through out if I was okay, and the pressure was comfortable. Very, very warm welcoming. Top notch work and I’ll see you soon! 100% recommend Jess for a treatment, £45 is a great price for what I’ve had done today. I feel amazing, and the products used are beautiful.

I went to Hair and Beauty Lounge for the first time to have my nails done for a special family occasion. I felt welcomed and put at my ease by Bayleigh who was a lovely, very professional young lady. I'm very happy with my nails! 😄 Definitely a 5 star experience.
