Lovely, welcoming salon. Michelle took time to chat with me about what I wanted and thoroughly explained the maintenance required. Couldn't be happier with the outcome. Will definitely be back, thanks Michelle!

With so many other places offering beauty and aesthetic treatments in Dorchester, it's good to know Emma is experienced and great at what she does!

I maybe classed as being biased as my wife owns the business but please make a booking visit yourself and make up your own minds on how good of an experience you will have. Covid compliant saloon.

Very friendly staff. Really refreshing to have a haircut that is at least as good as more pricey places I've been to, and take literally less than half of the time. They're not messing about!

Lovely experience at The Venue today! I had a luxury pedicure done by Mia who was their trainee and I am SO happy with the results. The whole experience was so relaxing and even though it was early in the morning, I was greeted with smiles and a very warm welcome. I also really appreciate the extra mile they went to, to get me oat milk so I could have a coffee! Thank you so much, I shall be booking again.

The ladies at the salon were the most understanding people you could wish to meet. The service was fantastic; my nails looks extremely neat. They were so thorough in making sure that everything was completed as it should. I couldn’t be happier with my nails and appreciate all their help today. I can’t wait to come back!

Had a lovely hair cut today with Nadine. I didn't know what to do with my hair, but thanks to Nadine's knowledge I walked out with my hair looking much more healthy and with more volume! I also had a lovely head, neck and shoulder massage which was a really nice touch. Already booked back in for January! I had a lovely lady called Jodie, she was amazing! Excellent customer service! She was very bubbly and welcoming, gave constant reassurance (it was a big cut and I hate change). She did an exceptional job on my hair and I absolutely love it! The hair wash was another level - I nearly fell asleep! The most relaxed I've been in years! Would recommend to family and friends!

I recently took my 3 year old daughter here for her first trim of her slow growing curly locks. I also had my 6 year son in tow. It was just before Christmas so the salon was very busy. We arrived just in the nick of time and were made very welcome. Although it was crowded, space was quickly made for us to get seated and Kate was attended to with professionalism and care. My son can be a little energetic at times and did wander down the salon a couple of times to be rapidly called back by me. At no time did I feel that there was any negative feedback from that by the staff. In fact the children were offered a sweet as a treat and the staff enaged with them when they could particularly Natalie the owner. Kate left feeling very happy. While I was sat there, I was able to observe the quality of the work that the team were creating for the clients of all ages. I would highly recommend and look forward to taking Kate along in future.

Can't recommend this place enough. I recently got married and was lucky enough to have Jana do my hair on the morning of the wedding. Her skill is incredible and she created exactly what i'd pictured in my head. She's so friendly and did an incredible job on my maid of honours hair as well! 100% would recommend!!

Daisy was very engaging and knowledgable, and passed on lots of tips and suggestions. I’m delighted with the results, which is a pretty unique experience for me! Thank you!

I've been going to Katie Burrows-Kerr for years now and she always does an amazing job. I love the way I feel when I leave the salon, even if it's just from a simple trim. I had my first salon colour last time (previously always home dyed) and I was so happy with the end result, my hair was so vibrant and shiny as well as being super soft! The atmosphere in the salon is always really friendly. I find going into some salons quite intimidating but everyone at MeraKi is so welcoming.

I’ve been going to Meraki for the past couple of years and have always left with dream hair, confidence and a spring in my step. I’ve had styles by Lily, Daisy and Emma and have always been super happy with my hair. I work away but drove 5 hours because I rate this salon this much. Everyone works so hard, even the apprentices and I cannot recommend Meraki enough. Super knowledgeable, full of useful advice on hair care and expert stylists. Thank you for making me feel like a princess with great hair!

5 star experience, I was looked after so well, such lovely friendly staff. My colour looked amazing! My colourist was so talented and delivered perfection. I left feeling very happy. Excited to have found a colourist I want to go back to!!

Afina Hair and Beauty is a lovely salon - it's stylish, friendly and welcoming. It has a bright and airy atmosphere. Eleanor is a great stylist - very happy with my haircut and highlights. Amy did a fantastic job with my manicure and pedicure. Highly recommend

Having visited Alfina for the first time yesterday, I cannot recommend it enough. I booked in to get colour, a cut and a blow dry with Emilee and she absolutely perfected the look I was going for. I arrived with hair that had been left for over a year and a half, that really needed some attention and I left feeling so happy with my new style. Thank-you Emilee! The salon itself is such a wonderful, calm and inviting space. There’s lots of complimentary drinks to choose from and if you’re caught off guard - they even have tampons, deodorant and other toiletries in the bathroom - such a nice touch! If you’re looking to find a hairdresser that makes you feel super comfortable and listened to, I cannot recommend Emilee at Alfina more. I will definitely be back!

Emilee is the best hairdresser I have ever been to. Used to have a lot of anxiety after a bad experience at a different hairdressers, but since going to Emilee for the past two years - i have never felt more confident in myself or my hair. Couldn’t recommend her more, followed her from different salons and now she’s bossing her own!! Incredible hairdresser and the pics speak for themselves💜
