Lovely salon, super friendly staff and the best haircut ever. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Without a doubt the best salon in Dorchester.

I live going to Heather Hair Salon in Dorchester. After a several very bad experiences at other hair salons I have found that Heather and her team are caring, friendly and supportive. They have restored my faith in hairdressers and I now look forward to having my hair done. I can't recommend them enough. So glad I found a hairdresser I can trust.

I have been using Heather's for twenty years and found them to be welcoming, efficient, skilled stylists who transform my modest locks into wonderful shape and cheer me up. When my stylist of 5 years left, she ensured I was looked after by another equally skilled stylist. Full marks for Heather's!

I recently took my 3 year old daughter here for her first trim of her slow growing curly locks. I also had my 6 year son in tow. It was just before Christmas so the salon was very busy. We arrived just in the nick of time and were made very welcome. Although it was crowded, space was quickly made for us to get seated and Kate was attended to with professionalism and care. My son can be a little energetic at times and did wander down the salon a couple of times to be rapidly called back by me. At no time did I feel that there was any negative feedback from that by the staff. In fact the children were offered a sweet as a treat and the staff enaged with them when they could particularly Natalie the owner. Kate left feeling very happy. While I was sat there, I was able to observe the quality of the work that the team were creating for the clients of all ages. I would highly recommend and look forward to taking Kate along in future.

Today was my first visit to Beautifully Gorgeous and it certainly won’t be my last. Claire was so lovely and welcoming and did an absolutely cracking job on my nails. Since my usual salon closed down I’ve had a couple of poor experiences and feel so happy to have found this salon and such a lovely beauty therapist in Claire. Can’t wait to go back!

Had a lovely hair cut today with Nadine. I didn't know what to do with my hair, but thanks to Nadine's knowledge I walked out with my hair looking much more healthy and with more volume! I also had a lovely head, neck and shoulder massage which was a really nice touch. Already booked back in for January! Thanks Nadine & the rest of the Beautifully Gorgeous team for being so warm and welcoming!

I could not have chosen a better person to ask to do my hair for my wedding and also my bridesmaids. Communication with Suzannah was an absolute breeze and she was so calm and patient with my lack of decisiveness! We had a hair trial a few weeks before the big day, which made it all the more exciting and I visited the beautiful salon a couple of times prior to the day for my daughter and I to have a trim. She was also brilliant with my daughter who is 4 years old and not usually great at sitting still! On the day itself Suzannah travelled to our wedding venue and managed to do not only my hair, but six of my bridesmaids (with some help!) and timings couldn't have gone smoother. Suzannah is also such an easy person to chat to and she was just a great personality to have amongst us all. Suzannah is fabulous! I shouldn't really write a review as it's increasingly difficult to get an appointment with her, but the secret seems to be out already and she deserves all the success in her new salon!

Can’t recommend Salon no.12 enough. After a horrific colour experience by a well known Salon Suzannah saved Christmas for me and not only corrected my yellow hair disaster to a beautiful ash natural looking blonde. Having had my hair turned purple then put in a bleach bath my hair anxiety was high! Suzannah worked with confidence and made me feel immediately at ease that she knew exactly what was needed. New movie title the Hairdresser that saved Christmas! 🎅

Mel is amazing. My husband has really tricky hair - she’s the only person who makes it look great. She’s been cutting our hair for years and never lets us down.

Mayfair Salon is lovely , i have been a few times for my haircut and colour with Mel who is so friendly and welcoming I would not go anywhere else now .The cut is brilliant as I have very fine hair and just love my colour too , the salon is bright spotlessly clean all the staff are lovely and friendly 👌 would definetly recommend thank you Debbi X

I haven't had my hair cut for a while, so i decided to book in for a dry cut. My sister has been here before and loved the style. Such a better cut then I have had at more expensive salons and a better service. although it is a-lot different after covid, the stylists are polite and take your needs in mind. Will be coming back

A lovely welcome every time. The staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable. Matt is an excellent stylist and I love watching him work. He knows me well enough now to do just what I want - but he always checks in case I want something different! It’s very therapeutic to have my hair done in the salon, a real treat. I recently had my hair cut by Maddy. It's the first cut where I can wash and style my hair and make it (nearly) as good as when Maddy first did it. She was so lovely I booked my daughter in to have hers done as well. Both daughters treated to a hot chocolate and Maddy was so good at listening to my daughter and cutting her hair perfectly. Can't recommend highly enough.

Janemarie and all the team have been and continue to be amazing, they have looked after me so well, having broken my shoulder it has been impossible to wash my hair and do my nails, so I have been a regular visitor the past 3 weeks, and they have been so generous and caring. First time visiting today. Lesley came highly recommended, and as I found out, for good reason! Lesley treated me as an old friend, whilst remaining professional - which really put me at ease as I was very nervous coming to a new place. She did a super job on my hair, listening to what I wanted whilst giving her own opinion on what would look best. Thank you so much.

Yet again, Tash has worked her magic, she's just fantastic, as are all the girls who work here. When I first became her customer I looked like Worzel Gummage after having several horror trips at other salons. Now after 2 years of being Tash's client I have healthy beautiful hair which gets compliments all the time. The salon is just stunning & so relaxing, I take my laptop with me and work during my sessions! Your just so well looked after, their attention to detail is impeccable, from drinks whether hot, cold, sparkling, to preferred capes and wonderful head massages during a wash, Sunset Blvd really is a cut above the rest. I always look forward to having my hair done, its an experience & me time! I recommend Tash and all the team at Sunset Blvd, just book you won't be disappointed & you'll feel wonderful afterwards.

It’s always a pleasure visiting Coleese and there’s no other salon I’d rather go to. All the staff are so friendly and attentive - they ensure I never leave unhappy with a service. Today the wonderful Madi did my hair. I’ve seen Madi at the salon during a lot of her training and it’s so lovely seeing her progress. She did an excellent job with my colour and styled it beautifully afterwards - I couldn’t be happier with the result!
