What a little gem in Alton! We had a fantastic time visiting dill. We were very late to our reservation due to traffic and the staff were very understanding, which we appreciated. The atmosphere was very relaxing. We had the tomato and mozzarella sourdough special, the hog father (pork belly burger) special and the sweet corn fritters. We very much enjoyed everything!

The food was enjoyable and fresh, which is always a plus. Although it took about 25-30 minutes for a simple dish to arrive, the quality made it worth the wait. It was nice to see the ladies at the reception handling greeting and serving duties, as well as taking orders at the counter in a well-coordinated manner. I encountered two ladies, and while one, Trisha, was genuinely kind, friendly, and full of happiness, the other seemed to be having a challenging day and wasn't as pleasant to interact with. Understandably, we all have our off moments. Overall it was a nice first experience.

Stopped for lunch after a walk. Great food, especially the dhaal and ham hock. Loved the Ten Tun Tap house beer from over the road. Will come back soon to try the burgers!

Dawid is excellent. Very professional. Turned up when he said he would, did good work and left the place tidy. Happy with the price too. Found him after our neighbour used him. I have recommended him to friends in Basingstoke. Cannot speak highly enough of him.

David did lots of work for me including installation of a new consumer board, indoor lights and switches, a new camera doorbell and security lights. He is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He has given me some really good advice on different options available to me. The quality of the work he has done is superb. I would highly recommend David to anyone who is looking for a reliable, trustworthy and highly competent electrician. If you use DAK Electrics, you will not be disappointed.

Dave installed 4 new double sockets in my living room for me. Tidy job, minimal mess and damage from the chasing in made it very easy for me to make the walls good and paint. Dave is very friendly and helpful, and the cost for the work was reasonable. Very happy to recommend Dave - he’s also installed new sockets in my dining room and completely rewired my kitchen, and I will use him again for a future project.

Stunning venue and gorgeous setting. The staff were incredible, ensuring everything ran smoothly and making guests feel truly welcomed. It was clear they went above and beyond to make the couple’s day perfect. The on-site accommodation is finished to an extremely high standard. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this stunning venue with my family, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a beautifully lit garden that set the tone for the evening. The restaurant itself had a lovely, warm atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel welcome from the start. The food was absolutely amazing. I started with the Pork with apple sauce and Yorkshire pudding, which was cooked to perfection — tender and full of flavour. For dessert, I enjoyed the apple crumble, which was the perfect end to the meal. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The combination of great food, friendly service, and a beautiful venue made it a night to remember. Will be returning for sure!!

From walking in to leaving, a really great experience! We arrived and had our coats taken by the lovely front desk lady. Once at our table we went relaxed after a walk and took in the surroundings. Really well set up, very relaxing ambience and loads of staff which is so important for this standard. Great food, starters, mains, puddings. Really good use of local products where possible, great wine choices, impressive all round. I didn't take many pictures as I enjoyed the moment! Oh - the cheese board was delightful! (Prices appropriate given the standard of food and service).

Phenomenal. Picturesque setting, delicious food and impeccable service. Updating seasonal menu items keep you coming back for more. Well deserved Michelin star. The set course menu is amazing value Highlight: The Fillet of beef, girolle mushroom, tomato and sweetcorn salsa, wet garlic, Woodspeen herb crumb red wine jus, summer truffle salad. Unusual but amazing combo! Will be back!

An amazing treat, fabulous Michelin starred food. We were all very full by the end of the three course meal. The Tarte Tatin was my favourite (no photos as it was so delicious I forgot to take a photo before I dug in!)

Excellent Service. Quote received in good time , date arranged and completed when specified. The day was very cold and wet and yet the work was completed in these conditions when others might well have delayed . Was very covid conscious throughout. I am delighted with the outcome. Wont hesitate to use again for any additional work we need doing.

Chris recently did various electrical tasks for us, mainly removing/adding sockets and switches, as well as replacing some light fittings. His communication with us before and during the work was excellent and he offered lots of helpful suggestions and explanations. He left everything so clean and tidy and we are very pleased with the work done. The price was also great value compared to other quotes we got. We contacted Chris and he responded really quickly. He came out, diagnosed the fault and provided us with a quote to remedy the work that was both a practical fix and cost effective. He completed the work in good time without making any mess. He was really knowledgeable and had a common sense approach, which we've not had in previous electricians. Harry from BN Electrical went over and above and came out on Easter Bank Holiday morning when our app had to be rescheduled due another clients work over running. He was punctual, friendly, professional and made suggestions that saved us time and money. He also was happy to pop up some outdoor light units that needed replacing at short notice and in the rain too. We asked BN to do additional jobs for us because of this.

It was a pleasure to have this Harry and co. (Didn't get the name of his colleague but was very friendly and efficient), do another job in our home, specifically removing chandalier lights and replacing them with some huge ceiling fan lights. We would not use any other company for our electrical jobs. They respected our home, removing shoes on arrival. Very friendly and very efficient. Know their craft very well. Highly recommend this company.

Aaron was outstanding today. Had some concerns about recurrent fuse trippings in the kitchen/extension area. Returned my call, attended exactly as he said he would. Really great place for walk, coffee, lunch and views! My dog loves and you can walk to QE Park as well. Stunning views around as its such a high point on South Downs.

We love this little café! We walk up the hill from QE Park with our dog regularly and the views from the top are spectacular. The café is a wonderful reward when you get to the top! Friendly staff, very generous sausage baps. A surprisingly good range of food and snacks for such a remote location. Free doggy biscuits and water bowls available. We just love coming here for a treat.

We had delicious food and drink at the Butser Roundhouse Cafe today. I’d highly recommend their coffee and toasties! Great service and a very much appreciated wc. A lovely little cafe, in a beautiful spot and definitely worth the climb!

What a wonderful gem of a cafe! Right at the top of Butser Hill, it's popular with hikers, cyclists, and dog walkers, and of course people who want to drive up and use the large car park to do some walking and take in the amazing 360 degree views from the top. The cafe is currently open thur to sun 9am - 4pm, and serves hot and cold drinks, ice creams cakes, all day breakfast, pastries, sandwiches, burgers, and probably many more things too! There are proper toilets available, and there are even dog treats too! The staff are very friendly and it's a great place for a well-earned refreshment. There are lots of picnic tables and benches spread out. I went on a dry, sunny, clear day, I'm not sure it would be as much fun on a rainy day!
