Its never an easy job having your boiler replaced. Alfords however made it easy and straight forward. From planning the new installation, answering our questions, guiding us through to the right solution and installing the new boiler Alfords provided a fantastic service. The team that did the installation were great. Very tidy and protected carpets and surfaces whilst they worked. They kept us informed of what they were doing and were happy to answer any questions we had. All in all a great service that I would recommend.

This was the first time I had used Alfords but as my previous plumber had retired I booked a boiler service with them on the recommendation of a friend. Fantastic service from being able to book online through to engineer arriving as per the appointment and with invoicing and payment online, what could be easier! Very friendly, polite and well informed guy (Phil) who was extremely helpful. No mess and treated my home with respect, even taking his shoes off without being asked! Would certainly recommend this company to anyone looking for a first class, fuss free plumbing service at a very reasonable price. I will certainly be using them again.

Prior to the work carried out by your staff, 4 other companies had told me that it was an impossible job. Your staff were clearly passionate about their role & extremely knowledgeable. The job was completed with minimal mess & the workmanship was of an extremely high standard & was very neatly executed. The plumber was an absolute credit to your team and I can't thank you enough

Our sceptic had backed up in the garden and it appeared to be blocked. We contacted Aaron and he came round and identified the issue and used he extensive equipment to resolve the issue. He suggested we get tank emptied (had already been emptied in July 2022) Also used camera to see if issue was from the bungalow end. When it was emptied Aaron came back round and in the bottom you could see the dip pipe had broken off and that’s why it was filling up so quickly. Aaron went in and looked around, identified what needed to be done and made a replacement which is working fine. I would recommend Aaron on the basis of the service and the cost. (Especially after talking to friends with similar issues that cost them in the thousand’s to sort)

Big shout out to Barnes & Liddiard Electrical Contractors for their excellent work and speedy service. We had a simple refit of electrics in our bathroom and a few other little jobs around the house that needed to be fitted in around other contractors. They quoted the day after we called and were able to fit us in within a few days for the first fix. We then co-ordinated around the rest of the bathroom refit and once everything was ready, they came back and completed the project according to our schedule. Excellent customer service and no job is too small.Would definitely recommend their services.

After today’s boiler service, they will be my only ‘Option’ from now on. Rory came out to service my boiler, he was on time, polite and friendly. He sorted our boiler out in our new home, fixed many issues left by the previous owner on the same day as he had most of the spare parts on the van. He explained all the issues that it had very clearly and when he was done he left no mess behind! See you next year!

Rory and Dave recently fitted a new boiler and bathroom towel radiator in my home. From my first meeting with Rory, I was impressed with these guys. I’d lost confidence in my previous plumber so took a chance on Options. Let’s be honest - no one wants to spend a lot of money on a new boiler unexpectedly but Rory and Dave made the experience less painful! They are very knowledgeable, have a great relationship and despite the singing of Christmas songs ( only joking Dave ! 🎄), it was a pleasure to have them both in my home for a couple of days. I’d definitely recommend Options and without doubt, I’ll use them again in the future.

Really nicely done up bar and gardens, lovely staff, great tasting ales. The ales are actually brewed on site and very reasonable price. The food is good, the beef burger with bacon and cheese had good flavour. The plate could do with some salad. The falafel burger was meant to come with coleslaw, as you can see, wasn't served to us. Good flavour and nice burger. Didn't want to complain about the lack of coleslaw and shouldn't have to.

This is a village pub at the top of its game. Set in a small village in lovely countryside, this well maintained and managed pub offers superb beer from their own brewery next door (at amazing prices too - from under £4 a pint), with half a dozen regular ales, and seasonal specials too. Naturally, there's a good selection of delicious food, which, again, is better value than most places. But book ahead, as this pub is deservedly busy. Lovely, helpful staff too. If only more pubs were like the Pots...

We love having lunch at The Pots. It's a lovely pub, and the addition of the barn, along with outside seating, gives plenty of tables. My husband loves the beer, anyway, which is very reasonably priced. Today, we both had the most fantastic chalk stream trout fishcakes as a starter. They were the best fishcakes I've ever tasted, and we had to pass on our compliments to the chef. My husband had the venison pie, which he said was delicious, especially with the port gravy. I had the maple and bbq brisket bap, which was also melt-in-the-mouth delicious, but after the 2 big fishcakes was way too much for me. 2 courses of delicious food for 2 people for £48, I'd say, was pretty good. Luckily, the 6+ mile walk home burned off some of the delicious food!

Called in here for lunch on a Friday expecting it to be relatively quiet, but how wrong we were. The staff were very attentive and served us at the bar and at the table very quickly, efficiently and nothing was too much trouble. They seemed to have a lot of staff working there which kept the food and drinks coming out quickly. We had the turkey sandwich which was really generous and great value at £8. The beer was exceptional and very good value, but not surprising as the brewery is across the car park. Highly recommended as a traditional pub with exceptional service, food and choice of home made beer.

Absolutely top class service. Got back to me quickly. Fixed my leak in my airing cupboard and serviced my boiler the next day and replaced a pump that the previous engineer put on upside down!!! Friendly and very reasonable price too. No hesitation in recommending Simon.

Having had an extension done a few years ago, we have had multiple issues with the new plumbing. Those plumbers have since gone out of business (shock) - and i struggled to find a plumber who could come in and fix the various issues honestly and with integrity. I was finally recommended to Simon and I'll never change! He's responsive, upfront, clear and fair. He runs it how a business should in 2025 with clear and quick invoicing and whatsapp messaging. Highly reccomend.

Francesco was polite and honest from the beginning, I called for a service on My old Potterton boiler unfortunately the flue was damaged therefore it was dangerous. Francesco sent me a very reasonable quote for a new Worcester Bosch boiler, he even managed to fit it the next day!! Thank you soo much!
