As a first time property purchaser it can be quite daunting to understand electrical components within the property. Dave at Daton really supported in my technical queries and knowledge regarding storage heaters. We selected new storage and panel heaters. We have employed Daton Electrical Services team to do various jobs for us including replacement of a distribution board and partial rewiring, and installing a podpoint to recharge a hybrid. Lately we have had him and his team to fix 2 botched jobs done by partial refurbishment installation teams. It not just about price or quality, Dave and his team have kept our family safe by doing all electrical works as it should be done!

Needed new twin Fuse Board for my flat as old one failed EICR Dave and his team was very responsive, prompt, helpful, knowledgeable and did a great job for a very reasonable price. David did lots of work for me including installation of a new consumer board, indoor lights and switches, a new camera doorbell and security lights. He is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He has given me some really good advice on different options available to me. The quality of the work he has done is superb. I would highly recommend David to anyone who is looking for a reliable, trustworthy and highly competent electrician. If you use DAK Electrics, you will not be disappointed.

Dave installed 4 new double sockets in my living room for me. Tidy job, minimal mess and damage from the chasing in made it very easy for me to make the walls good and paint. Dave is very friendly and helpful, and the cost for the work was reasonable. Very happy to recommend Dave - he’s also installed new sockets in my dining room and completely rewired my kitchen, and I will use him again for a future project.

Having originally visited on a corporate evening, we were wowed by the whole farm! So much so that we booked for all of our friends to join us for Sunday lunch and are we glad we did! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm smile from the host and guided to our table which was set up beautifully in front of a vintage tractor with amazing views out to the beautiful designed landscape. Our roast dinner from start to finish was amazing with a great choice of wine and beautifully presented food from starter through to dessert. We really didn’t want to leave! Keep up the great work Silchester Farm, a credit to the owners and team for creating something truly amazing in Hampshire!

Stunning venue and gorgeous setting. The staff were incredible, ensuring everything ran smoothly and making guests feel truly welcomed. It was clear they went above and beyond to make the couple’s day perfect. The on-site accommodation is finished to an extremely high standard. The food was enjoyable and fresh, which is always a plus. Although it took about 25-30 minutes for a simple dish to arrive, the quality made it worth the wait. It was nice to see the ladies at the reception handling greeting and serving duties, as well as taking orders at the counter in a well-coordinated manner. I encountered two ladies, and while one, Trisha, was genuinely kind, friendly, and full of happiness, the other seemed to be having a challenging day and wasn't as pleasant to interact with. Understandably, we all have our off moments. Overall it was a nice first experience.

I stopped at dill on a Saturday afternoon with some friends for lunch and a catch up. It’s in a great position in central Alton and is in a beautiful old character building. It was bright, modern and clean inside, and there were plenty of tables - which is good as it’s a popular place. The menu has plenty of options and it was difficult to choose what I fancied as it all sounded so good! I settled on their chicken burger which came with fries and coleslaw. It was absolutely delicious, and the portion was very generous too. The service was friendly and efficient, and overall we had a fantastic lunch. I will definitely return again when visiting Alton, and I would highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere nice for breakfast or lunch.

Chris recently did various electrical tasks for us, mainly removing/adding sockets and switches, as well as replacing some light fittings. His communication with us before and during the work was excellent and he offered lots of helpful suggestions and explanations. He left everything so clean and tidy and we are very pleased with the work done. The price was also great value compared to other quotes we got. It was a pleasure to have this Harry and co. (Didn't get the name of his colleague but was very friendly and efficient), do another job in our home, specifically removing chandalier lights and replacing them with some huge ceiling fan lights. We would not use any other company for our electrical jobs. They respected our home, removing shoes on arrival. Very friendly and very efficient. Know their craft very well. Highly recommend this company.

Phenomenal. Picturesque setting, delicious food and impeccable service. Updating seasonal menu items keep you coming back for more. Well deserved Michelin star. The set course menu is amazing value Highlight: The Fillet of beef, girolle mushroom, tomato and sweetcorn salsa, wet garlic, Woodspeen herb crumb red wine jus, summer truffle salad. From walking in to leaving, a really great experience! We arrived and had our coats taken by the lovely front desk lady. Once at our table we went relaxed after a walk and took in the surroundings. Really well set up, very relaxing ambience and loads of staff which is so important for this standard. Great food, starters, mains, puddings. Really good use of local products where possible, great wine choices, impressive all round. I didn't take many pictures as I enjoyed the moment! Oh - the cheese board was delightful! (Prices appropriate given the standard of food and service).

Aaron was outstanding today. Had some concerns about recurrent fuse trippings in the kitchen/extension area. Returned my call, attended exactly as he said he would. Spent a significant period of time diagnosing the issues and correcting them. Spent time to explain the issues too. Found on Checkatrade and highly recommend.
