Barry and team did a fantastic job replacing the felt, battens, some beams and some tiles on my 1960s roof, plus replacement fascias, soffits and gutters and a refresh of my porch. He was amazingly responsive and good at communicating, and his team including David and Tom were excellent. They are all experienced and knowledgeable and worked for several days to get the job completed. Thank you Barry and First Choice Roofing.

I've been hugely impressed by First Choice Roofing and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I e-mailed last Thursday to request a quote; within less than fifteen minutes, I'd heard back and we arranged a visit that same day. By today (Wednesday) the work was complete! My garage roof - which had a huge amount of greenery to be removed - has been cleared, boarded and refelted to a high standard, as well as having guttering and drainpipe installed. Genuinely one of the easiest major property maintenance encounters I've ever had.

Booked Mark to fit 4 internal doors after he did such a great job fitting a kitchen worktop for us. Mark arrived on the day agreed, on time. Measured the individual frames (all different sizes!), removed the old doors, cut the doors to size, fitted the door handles & added an additional hinge for each door. During his visit, Mark was friendly, professional & tidied up after he'd finished the job. He cut the old doors in half to make it easier for me to dispose of them. And he took away some wood that needed to be edged / bevelled as he didn't have the tools woth him and returned it a couple of days later which I will be making into a table. New doors look great (still need to be painted though) & fit perfectly. Another great job by Mark. Again, woud happily recommend Mark for your woodwork needs. Thanks Mark.

Mark came and refurbished our banister. When he came to assess the job he discussed style and materials with us to ensure he knew what we envisaged for our home. We agreed a date for the work. He let us know traffic was making him a few minutes late arriving. He coped magnificently with the uneven wall and woodwork which the house builder had left us. The resulting job looks very good. He put down covers and cleaned up after working. We would definitely recommend Mark.

We highly recommend Mark Lloyd. His work is outstanding and precise. A true craftsman. Nothing too much trouble. Clean and tidy. We had new oak balustrades and newel posts. Also wood panelling as you can see in the photos.

Very pleased with Southern Roofing Ltd. Very quick with quoting to booking job. They did a great job repairing the lead, felt , batons etc on our roof and cleared up after. I contacted them through their website and they called me back within thirty minutes. They sent Mark out the next morning to take a look. Mark is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He took lots of pictures and showed me what the issues were (I had several leaks in my roof since the recent bad weather). By the end of the day Steve had sent me a quote. The quote listed out the works they were going to do and I thought the price was really good for the amount of work that was needed. I emailed back and accepted in the evening. Steve responded that evening to arrange a day to do the work. The work was done on the day that we had agreed. Mark and Luke did a great job and took more pictures to show me what had been done. As promised all the broken tiles and the original lead flashing was taken away. Steve gave me a courtesy call later on that day to make sure I was happy. Really genuine company trying to sort your problems out. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for any roofing issues.

I visited yesterday with Reggie my Cocker Spaniel because he has been head shaking and scratching for too long. We were seen by Jamie (I asked to see him when I made my appointment ) he explained exactly what he thought was bothering Reggie and put him on steroids which we hope will work and make Reggie more comfortable. Jamie takes time to talk with me and I am very impressed with the treatment.

Such a brilliant vets. I’ve moved here from another reputable vets in Basingstoke, and the service is like night and day! Absolutely everyone makes such a fuss, my new puppy loves going to the vets. They care, ask and give brilliant advice. Love them, highly recommend. I’m also on their monthly package which is great value for money!

Stuart and the team were incredibly helpful, making the entire process seamless. Ordering wood online can be challenging, but they provided samples to help us find the perfect colour and designed the wall dividers to fit flawlessly. Excellent service—I highly recommend them!

Very happy with our new gaming table, it's solid and robust (glad I opted to have the legs as removable, I don't think it would have fit through the door otherwise!). Each of the four "leaves" fit together nicely. We purchased a plastic cover to go under the table cloth to help protect any spillages from reaching the baize mat. We have had a couple of games on it already and it has the cat's approval for comfort. Communication with the company was good throughout. Would recommend for board gaming enthusiasts!

I called GT roofing because of condensation issues inside my attic. Gavin answered my call immediately and came the next day to assess the problem. He suggested some remedial and upgrade work and provided me with a reasonable quote straightaway. Gavin and his team then came and completed the work in a couple of days and everything was tidy and efficient. I definitely recommend.

Gavin and his team came and saved us after water started pouring through our kitchen light fitting from our flat roof. They were able to fit us in within 2 days of it happening and came back to do 2 other jobs they consequently found in other places. Gavin and his team completed a new GRP roof for our rear extension. Can't fault Gavin's knowledge and experience and quality of work. One of the key points which is often overlooked with building work at your property is the level of care and consideration given to your neighbours during the building period. Nothing but positive feedback from neighbours during and post the work, would recommend.

Have used Gavin on two occasions, the first time was to replace around 20 Brazilian slates on our roof. Not a job he relished as Brazilian is about the worst slate you could use! Today, Gavin’s team replaced the flashing under our 1st floor bay window where we have been having problems with water ingress. Great job carried out the day after he gave me his quote. Andy and Pete consistently confirmed that we'd made the right decision when we asked them to build a single storey extension onto the back of our house and a replacement porch. They were not only highly skilled, patient, honest, trustworthy and communicative, they (and their team) were just great people to have around. That's pretty vital when they are going to spend months on your project! They used their vast experience and network to quickly resolve any challenges which arose and have left us with a life changing extension that we enjoy each and every day. The gorgeous extension is filled with light due to an apex roof housing two Velux windows and a complete wall of bifold doors with glass gable end. The Utility Room houses our white goods at a raised level for ease of use and our very swanky porch (!) is rendered as per the bottom half of the entire house. Quite a transformation! For your interest I attach before, during and after photos of their work here in Chandler's Ford We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Andy and Pete, with Nick and Graham, carried out our loft conversion this year and we are so happy with their work. What we liked best was their time-keeping (they ran exactly to schedule) and costing (they ran exactly to quote, except for some extras that we requested). As important was their pleasantness in working with. They are very courteous, great communication, and any problems were listened to carefully and a sensible solution found. Our project was quite large (dormer L-shape loft conversion, complete reroof, chimney repoint, 2 new bathrooms and fitted cupboards and wardrobes). Their workmanship is of a very high standard and we strongly recommend them.

A few friends of ours recommended Bassett Carpentry for our kitchen extension. We couldn’t be happier with the work and would recommend them to anyone else. Our extension was not straight forward but Andy & Pete were so easy to deal with. They were honest and upfront with costs, and kept to the agreed price plans. Their team who completed the electrics and plumbing were also superb. We were very nervous as this was our first project, but Bassett Carpentry exceeded all expectations and did the perfect job. The experience from start to finish has been fantastic! I was given a really reasonable quote, and though additional costs were added (due to extra work which needed to be carried out) these were also really reasonably priced and I was kept well informed about it before the work was carried out. I'd also discovered what can only be described as a nightmare of hidden pipework under the old larder (before work was due to be carried out), and though my own worries about this caused delays with the work starting, Lewis was really supportive in addressing this and was really quick to respond to all of my concerns. Garath fitted my new cabinets, moved my extractor fan/boxing, replaced my windowsill and also worked on a few extra areas in the kitchen and I'm honestly impressed with how good it all looks! All his work has been topnotch and throughout the process he was always polite and took the trouble to answer any questions I had. Work was also finished really quickly which was a bonus! My thanks to you both - can't recommend highly enough!

Lewis advised and replaced the bannisters on our stairs. He did a great job and was polite and courteous. I will be using his services again…. And I did, this time to replace all our internal doors with oak ones. Craig and Garath did an amazing job; they were really friendly and polite and left no mess.

I was looking to book a benchmarking experience to do with my siblings and dad for his 70th. I couldn’t find anyone who offered this but after messaging a lot of paces, Ross was the only one who replied saying he would be very happy to help do this for us. Ross was incredibly helpful in organising this experience from the designs to the selection of wood and being so accommodating to the dates that worked for us. We did it over a weekend under his fantastic supervision and help who had everything planned out for us! I couldn’t recommend this any more. A brilliant experience, incredibly fun and came out of it with a beautiful bench.

Ross and Jack built our home ground floor timber frame extension measuring 10m x 8m. They were excellent from start to finish, communication and advice were given throughout and they are returning in October to fit the kitchen. We would recommend them without any reservation.
