Superb service, care and attention. All the staff make you feel valued and explain clearly and concisely their prognosis, and at no point do you feel rushed or pressured. I had an emergency with my dog and after phoning was told to come in straight away and was seen within 10 minutes. Highly recommended 👍

The service is amazing. When you walk through the door, it is obvious how important all animals are to everyone from the lovely receptionists to the caring vets. The costs are so much cheaper than other local vets. I cannot praise them enough.

Our 5yr dog became seriously ill while we were at our lodge on a Saturday. Luckily to find Aldervale veterinary practice open. They fitted an appointment in for us straight away even though our dog isn't registered with them. They dealt with our dog and ourselves with dignity and respect and went through all the procedures and cost of treatment. Initially our dog was started off on treatment but had to be transferred to Market rasen for further tests and additional treatments for 3 nights. It was touch and go for our fur baby and very upsetting and anxious for us. They gave us regular phone updates to. Thanks to the amazing veterinary support from the team he pulled through. We highly recommend Aldervale vets, Ashby-By-Partney. Many thanks to all of you ❤️

Sadly we had to have our dog put to sleep. The nurse and vet on duty that terrible evening were superb in dealing with 2 grieving owners. Talking to us during the process and giving us as much time with our Little Miss to say goodbye. Will never forget your compassion and kindness. Ian & Michelle

We desperately needed a vet to put our old poppy to sleep who had been extremely unwell. Our usual vet cancelled the home visit due to an emergency so at 17.30 we were left to find an alternative provider - and thankfully we spoke with The Shire Vets. Despite the extremely short notice, they made the time to see us at 8pm to help our lovely poorly dog sleep. Mihai and Ciprian were extremely kind, courteous, helpful and great communicators throughout this difficult process. I can't recommend them enough. When you need them, they are there ready to support you and your pet and that's worth its weight in gold.

Really happy with the care we received today for our dog who had become ill in the night. We were given an appointment very quickly and felt that our dog was treated with genuine care and compassion. We really like the home visit approach, especially having had nervous dogs in the past who would have benefitted from this. We were also reassured by the approach to follow-up care and willingness to provide advice. The practice is a really positive addition to the area and we will definitely use them in future if needed.

A true breath of fresh air within the area. The small team at Shire Veterinary Services is efficient and caring, putting the animal at the forefront of its actions. The knowledge of the team shines. They've gone above and beyond to come to see my border collies and sort out medication collection promptly. The quality of the service is outstanding at such a reasonable price.

Very Friendly, Professional and Modern Vets. Had to book in our 8 year old dog for a "MOT" and to check a muscular injury. We managed to get an appointment quickly, he was seen to quickly on the day of the appointment and given a thorough check up and a good fuss for good measure! Prescribed a quick course of tablets for the muscle pain and within 3 days he was back to his usual mad cap self! Excellent value for money and this will certainly be our Vets for many years to come

Being new to the area, Lincoln Edge Vets were chosen purely on their positive reviews. Our dog was getting increasingly poorly and when contacted they registered and offered an appointment with minimal delay. It was clear that the Vets genuinely cared for our dog, and over the course of 2 weeks not only tried all options available but were always accommodating for short notice appointments. Unfortunately, it transpired that there was nothing they could do to help our dog and the decision was made, in the best interests of our dog, to put her to sleep. They were professional yet empathetic during a time of sadness to our family. Prioritising our needs over closing time of the Vets to ensure we had our chance to spend some final minutes with our pet. They couldn't have done more and it was appreciated. On collecting the ashes from the Vets, we were touched to find they had given sympathy cards from the practice complete with paw prints as a memento from our dog. Fur cuttings were also given which we weren't expecting but again were a nice and appreciated gesture. Cannot recommend Lincoln Edge enough. They have been outstanding and can see why they have only 5 star reviews. We're so appreciative of their help and support and made a very sad period that bit easier.

Medivet in Welton, Lincoln, went above and beyond to help my pet with an emergency Saturday morning appointment even though we were new to them and had only just joined the practise. Very friendly and helpful reception staff (Jess) and very efficient vet.

Very happy with the incredible customer service at Medivet Welton. The receptionist was caring, compassionate and efficient, which is so important when you have a poorly cat, and you yourself are feeling stressed because of this. I got an appointment swiftly. The vet we saw was incredibly knowledgeable treated my cat, and answered all the questions I had regarding how to get him to drink more and about future treatment. Really very happy. I'd been dreading finding out the cost, as, like with most people, money is tight, but the treatment did not cost as much as I had been expecting either, which was a welcome relief.

We had a problem with our staffy which could have been a blocked bowel. Sleaford vets gave us an emergency appointment within a couple of hours. Fortunately, it was just a case of bad constipation. The vet gave us some meds and it was sorted within 24 hours. The receptionist was fantastic - so very helpful. The vet was amazing. She knew that our Indy got very stressed when visiting the vet and took great care to examine her whilst keeping her calm during the examination - and she didn't even charge us for the meds! What can I say? Absolutely amazing service. We couldn't recommend this practice highly enough.

I cannot recommend this veterinary practice highly enough. From the moment we arrived, Fiona, the doctor, made us feel incredibly secure and well-cared-for. She took the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring we fully understood our pet's condition and the treatment plan. Her expertise and compassionate approach truly set her apart. Lynne at the reception was equally impressive. She was very helpful and ensured that our check-in process was smooth and stress-free. Her friendly demeanor made us feel welcome and at ease. When it came time for discharge, Rosie was outstanding. She was very attentive and took great care in explaining the aftercare instructions, ensuring we left with a clear understanding of how to best support our pet's recovery. We traveled all the way from London for this level of care and would do it again in a heartbeat. The team here is so amazing that we have also booked our post-op check-up and are were happy to make the journey once more. Their dedication and professionalism are truly commendable. Thank you to the entire team for providing such exceptional service! Huxley was a very lucky boy to have you all around him.

This isn't the first time I've said this, but the staff on reception really make this vets the best one I've been to. So often I've encounter coldness on a vetinary reception but not here, not only are they warm and friendly, but they're so personalable and easy to talk with. We all have that feeling of wanting to do right by our pets whilst being anxious about the cost of vet fees, and I know we all feel that pressure and doubt whilst a vet tells us everything they're going to do and prescribe that we wonder about the cost and necessity of. But after my appointment the receptionist was so understanding and non-judgemental, she gave me time to think about each item and was forthcoming with individual pricing so that I could pick and choose by priority. She gently upsold me by noting the 10% discount from the pet plan without making me feel pressured. I really hope the staff are treated with the respect and appreciation they deserve because this truly is a make-or-break for which vet service I use.

Cannot praise everyone here enough! Quite literally saved Rue’s life! Following a traumatic experience with the vet I was registered with these guys saw us straight away, treated Rue straight away and the level of compassion and empathy for myself, family and my beautiful cat was exceptional! They were always honest with that the prognosis was poor but worked tirelessly to to overcome all the obstacles Rue’s condition (blocked bladder) presented for the 4 days he spent in their care. They would be getting this glowing review whatever the outcome but I’m elated to say all of their had work paid off and Rue is home, healthy and happy! And I will always be eternally grateful!
