We are very appreciative of being able to rely on Sam for Sprocket's pain management and all her great advice regarding his OA. I have found her to always be kind, supportive and very focused on his wellbeing. He has exceeded expectations under her care and has been able to continue enjoying his life to the fullest for longer.

Amazingly knowledgable and supportive, Sam is and will always be my go to person for pain diagnosis and management. Her work with my dog gave us more time when our options were limited and her support meant the world to us when osteoarthritis threw challenge after challenge at us. Ian has been our vet for around 18 years. He is always professional, approachable kind and honest. He's looked after all our cats over these years with great care and respect. His surgery team/reception are always super helpful and friendly.

Ian is a fantastic vet, very calming for both pets and owners. My dog loves seeing him. I rang him on a Sunday evening as my old girl hurt her leg, he saw us straight away and checked her over. He's very knowledgeable, trustworthy and kind hearted.

Very friendly staff very clean and tidy smells lovely well set out receptionist very welcoming you can see what's going on they make your medicine while you wait and you can watch them the vets are fantastic very friendly they treat your pet as if it was thier own they were that good I moved my other pet from another vets to this practice and they also have a charity hut in the carpark all things second hand

We have always received great service. The vets take the time to but my dog at ease before they continue to examine him. I personally wouldn't go anywhere else.

Always amazing with our zoo of animals and always friendly. One of my cats hates people, and she seemed ok here. She wasn't too frightened. The place is fairly quiet and very clean

Took my Labrador, Sully to the vet today and he became extremely anxious, something I was not expecting! He became very vocal and bordering a little aggressive. Unfortunately, as the vet was unsure of his behaviour she decided to muzzle him which did calm his behaviour and with the help of an veterinary nurse was able to take the muzzle off and give him his vaccination. By the time we left, Sully was calm and taking treats from the vet and receptionists hand. I am so grateful for their patience and understanding and would highly recommend them to anyone who has a dog with anxiety.

We have just had an excellent experience with my Romanian rescue dog at Heckington vets. After a previous negative experience from both myself and my dog we were nervous about his upcoming appointment, however Rose made the entire appointment stress free, she was extremely calm, caring, and reassuring to my dog. Rose explained everything step-by-step to us and is clearly very knowledgeable - I couldn’t recommend her enough. Overall we had a successful appointment and Rose was brilliant!

Vets here really care! Reception (vet nurses etc) very accommodating and patient, including giving us an additional cancelled appointment at very short notice. Sorted out our feisty cat's flea treatment! Thank you! Feb 2024 Dog's checkup today, including bloods, all done without fuss or paraphernalia. Very calm and friendly vet, as always, with Leia firmly in charge on the front desk. 🐕

The vets and nurses here at Heckington are always friendly and welcoming. Rang at 8.30 this morning, requested asap appointment and 11.a.m cat was in vets, problem diagnosed, meds given. It's great to have a local practice with good parking.

Don't be put off that it's part of the bigger south Linc's veterinary group, they are different vets and are VERY caring to the animals and owners. I have seen Gemma a cpl of times and can't recommend her enough, so very compassionate and has an obvious love and genuine caring approach to your pet. If you can get here then definitely do so!!

Our cat was referred here to see Jasper for a heart scan, and I can't fault the service we received. Everything was explained in detail to us and he had read up on our cats history and was very knowledgeable. He advised us on the next steps to take and what to ask from our usual vets.

Discussed having my male pup neutered. The veterinary nurse was very friendly and gave me lots of information about the operation and the aftercare required. She printed an expected cost for the procedure. The operation has been booked, but I haven't told my boy.

I had to take my boxer puppy to the emergency because a dog bit him on the shoulder. I am Spanish and my English is very basic. From the receptionist to the veterinarian, they tried very hard to explain the surgery they had to do to my dog ​​and even with my linguistic limitations, they explained everything to me patiently and I felt at home. Receptions staff so friendly and amazing at sorting out mistake in booking appointment. Vets friendly and do what needs to be done as qucky as possible to least upset your pet.
