We sadly had our Cocker Spaniel put to sleep today at the Witham St.Hughes practice. The vet Lizzy was amazing. So gentle with her and kind to her and us. I can't thank Lizzy enough she made an unbearable situation bearable. An amazing vet and compassionate human being. Thank you so much.

First time using this vets as I usually use the Hykham one... The staff have been above and beyond helpful. The vet took the time to answer my questions and give me lots of helpful information. She took the time needed with my skittish Cat and tried not to stress him further while talking to him. She answered some questions about a new pet I am intending to register, and very helpful answers to both neutering and bonding. The staff out front where really helpful with extra advice about calming plugins and sprays and advice on calming tablets for a future stressful event. The vets practice has a disabled accessible door with no steps. Inside is clean, tidy and welcoming with animals separated on different sides of the waiting area. Overall a fantastic visit. Polite, kind, welcoming staff who are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks!

I registered my ageing cat with Park View when we moved to this area 4 years ago and have been more than satisfied with the service we have received during Lucy's final years. Friendly, courteous staff - both admin and clinical - and I loved the dog-free waiting area for cats. The annual pet care plan is an absolute bargain, especially if your pet needs regular prescriptions as this entitles you to a discount. Recently had to take Lucy on that last, sad one-way trip and the care both she and I received was so warm and kind. My beloved cat had the gentlest possible end and I was cared for, too. Thank you, Andrea and Sarah. I have just taken on the care of two homeless middle-aged moggies and will be registering them with Park View today.

After having my best friend for 14 years, I had to have her put to sleep on Friday š¢ I cannot thank Vicky and her team enough on the care they have given Tia, Iād also like to say a huge thank you to Tom and Emma, that came to the home, to put Tia to sleep, absolutely heartbroken, the house isnt the same without her, I can only take comfort, that she is no longer in pain, and suffering anymore.

I have used these vets since they first opened in stamford was only one vet Viki I have watched this business grow from strength to strength the care they have for the animals blows all other vets out of the water!! They also offer lots of plans and saving options which is brilliant especially for the unexpected trips! The only thing I wish they would look at doing is having overnight emergency on call vet at there premises

Took our 5 year old rehomed cockapoo for her vaccines and health check with Jessica today on our pet health plan which was our first vet visit with the dog as we not had her long. The staff at the reception as well as Jessica herself have been absolutely amazing with our anxious little girl. Jessica has been so kind and patient with our dog which made us feel so at peace. She explained everything to us throughout the process in great detail what we wanted to know and we had some lovely chats throughout the visit as well. So happy we went with Animates as our little girl vets. Will definitely recommend Animates to everyone š

We have visited the practice a lot just lately and each time we feel valued. Our pet is always greeted and by the time we go into the vet/ nurse room she is relaxed. The billing method is always easy to follow as a printed itemised bill is offered and reminders of appointments are always received by text a few days prior to our appointment. Thank you from our fur baby!

Hannah is amazing, she so good with our cat and gives us informed options. James was also equally amazing, he kept me well informed on my cats condition and gave me informed options too. He was also very honest which I appreciated. Great team at Thurlby, I wouldnāt go anywhere else. Thank you for looking after her.

Booked for my dog to have a laparoscopic spay as it isnāt offered by my registered vet. The pre-procedure, procedure and post procedure were all excellent. Totally unrelated to the spay my dog was unwell just before one of the post procedure follow ups, the team at Oakham Veterinary Hospital were faultless in their assistance and treatment.

A friendly, helpful and professional business. We took our Dog here for 5 years before moving away and every interaction was positive, including the two serious procedures they undertook. The pet plan is a great product and I would throughly recommend.

We live in Durham and had to visit the practice with our dog Archie while away on holiday. Everyone I spoke to from the receptionist who answered the phone, the nurse I spoke to on the phone and the vet were brilliant. They were helpful, very pleasant and knowledgeable. We were made to feel very welcome. I would recommend the practice 100%

From the moment you arrive the receptionists look after you and the vets are really friendly with you and your pets. The helpful advice is not forced on you and you don't feel pressured to make difficult decisions. Out of hours cover is provided and the welfare of your pet is never too much trouble.

We took our cat Lily in and she was absolutely pampered and looked after and recovered fully from having 8 teeth out at another vets in Peterborough from which she was sent home from incredibly unwell and we thought she could die. She's back to normal now and thank you to the great care and love she received to all at Burghley vets x

Cannot praise everyone here enough! Quite literally saved Rueās life! Following a traumatic experience with the vet I was registered with these guys saw us straight away, treated Rue straight away and the level of compassion and empathy for myself, family and my beautiful cat was exceptional! They were always honest with that the prognosis was poor but worked tirelessly to to overcome all the obstacles Rueās condition (blocked bladder) presented for the 4 days he spent in their care. They would be getting this glowing review whatever the outcome but Iām elated to say all of their had work paid off and Rue is home, healthy and happy! And I will always be eternally grateful!

Although I had my own vet, and a dog that was Insured, a week before Christmas she got so unwell I had to take her in, treatment consisted of what I could pay for and not what she actually needed!! They wouldnāt even give her antibiotics as I couldnāt pay for them so this amazing vets was found via a million phone calls and emails all over the place, and they found a solution for us, they even took my insurance policy and claimed direct so I didnāt have to find the money first! Something my own vets Wouldnāt do! And the vets are very thorough, itās all about the well-being of animals and not money. Needless to say this is now my new vets

This isn't the first time I've said this, but the staff on reception really make this vets the best one I've been to. So often I've encounter coldness on a vetinary reception but not here, not only are they warm and friendly, but they're so personalable and easy to talk with. We all have that feeling of wanting to do right by our pets whilst being anxious about the cost of vet fees, and I know we all feel that pressure and doubt whilst a vet tells us everything they're going to do and prescribe that we wonder about the cost and necessity of. But after my appointment the receptionist was so understanding and non-judgemental, she gave me time to think about each item and was forthcoming with individual pricing so that I could pick and choose by priority. She gently upsold me by noting the 10% discount from the pet plan without making me feel pressured. I really hope the staff are treated with the respect and appreciation they deserve because this truly is a make-or-break for which vet service I use.

Animates Veterinary Clinic

Rating: 4.6 (171) Price Level:
I had a bad experience with my previous vet and dog so have always been very wary of vets ever since, but I took my current dog today to Animates Market Deeping and the vet I saw was absolutely brilliant, she did a thorough examination and explained everything clearly and she then went through options that I could take. Not once did I feel she was trying to put me under pressure to make a decision on the spot. Some vets are just there to make money but these guys still have the real care factor, highly recommend them.

I can't thank this team of professionals enough, I needed my lovely dog to have her annual vaccinations and flea and worm treatment and the cost at our previous vets was so much but after speaking to Animates they were able to do this for me using a health care plan which worked for me so I could spread the cost with one monthy payment. The team were so inviting welcoming Poppy my Springer spaniel who is very bouncy and we left so happy all vaccinated. Thank you so much! X
