We had a vet in Brigg who had prescribed our dogs, medication and kept increasing and changing medication for his skin and nothing was working. So we decided to change to Lucavet. Dr Luca explained the issues, prescribed medicated shampoo, reduced our dogs steroid intake. Within a few weeks we noticed the difference. We have now been with Dr Lucas practice for over a year and we would not change. Last night I had an emergency with our other dog Poppy and again he gave the correct diagnosis and treatment and my dog is much better this morning. We are so lucky to have found Dr Luka, because he explains the treatments and conditions, obviously cares for the dogs, and I would recommend his practice to anyone.

Just have to thank Dr Luca and his team for their compassion and professionalism. We brought our old and ailing cat (Trevor) to the surgery, knowing in our hearts he was near the end. Dr Luca confirmed that Trevor's heart was failing and he showed the greatest care in the last moments of Trevor's life. What was particularly comforting, was the way Dr Luca took time to listen to us, sharing our upset and grief. Lucavet's thoughtfulness didn't stop there, as a few days later we received a hand-written sympathy card. I have been using Liviu Luca for my dogs since before he set up his own practice and wouldn't go anywhere else. He is just brilliant and does an amazing job. I have lots of dogs and so I'm quite a regular! My dogs love going to see him as he's so lovely with them. Zara my bernese mountain dog recently had a major operation and has recovered so well due to Dr. Luca's knowledge and expertise, I can honestly say I've never seen such perfect stitching! Liviu has an amazing nurse 'Lee' who assists him and I don't really know what more to say, other than, I would give them more than 5 stars if it were possible!

Great vet, no-nonsense and top notch care. Everyone is really friendly. Probably more pricy than any chains but I prefer Lucavet - my cat is worth it after all!
