I recently celebrated a birthday at The Dog, and it was a delightful experience! Our group of 8 enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, quick service, and delicious food. The menu offered a range of options, and everyone found something they loved. The vegan burger was particularly tasty, accompanied by a sizable salad. 🍔🥗 The staff was friendly and attentive, making our celebration even more enjoyable. The pub’s traditional vibe, complete with an inviting real fire, added to the charm. 🍻🔥 Whether you’re looking for a relaxed lunch or a cozy dinner, The Dog is a great choice.

I have been to the dog, many times with my family. The food, service and atmosphere are truly 5 ⭐️. I believe this is mainly due to the high standards that Sam the manager brings. She is very warming towards my children greeting them, also giving them books to read while we wait for our food. She makes us all feel very welcome and apart of the dog family. Many more meals to come!

We've been coming to The Dog for a few years and it has recently had a refurb which is very nice. We came on a Friday at around 5pm without a booking. The place was busy so would recommend booking in advance. We managed to get a table after about an hour by chance. Great value food - vegetarian burger and gammon, egg, and chips. One of the meals was a deal which included a dessert too. Food is reasonably priced and nice enough. Staff were friendly. Drinks - a pint of peroni £5.80 and a lemonade £3.30.

Lovely place to eat. The food was great (I had a mixed grill). The lights are dim, which i love, because they make things cosy. Oh, the desserts that are on show are HUGE! Desserts could be shared between 3 people. And they're under £7. Do enjoy 😉.

We had a lovely meal here today, I even made it to the dessert menu….the only one in our group! Sadly I was “robbed”, by my wife, of half of my delicious CHEESECAKE - special thanks to Danielle! 👍🏻

I came with my sister and her son as neither of us wanted to cook dinner. He’s 2 so I booked a table near the play area so that he could go in there which he enjoyed. My sister had a standard carvery I went for a large plate food was lovely, choice of food options was really good

Place has a very nice vibe, and the food was amazing, too. we had their fish and chips combination and chicken and rice combination. I can't exactly recall the names of the dishes, but both were really flavourful and nicely spice. Service was really good and a nice vibe in the atmosphere and worthy to comment that the potion size was really large and worth every penny you pay
