Deniz is a great A-level chemistry teacher! She makes learning enjoyable by breaking down difficult concepts into a clear, simple and memorable way. Deniz is very kind and has a very bubbly personality which makes every lesson enjoyable. In the short time I’ve had with Deniz, I am very happy with the progress I am making in chemistry and I would definitely recommend Deniz to anyone looking for a chemistry tutor!

Deniz has been teaching me for a while and I have seen significant progress of my understanding in A-level Chemistry. She has a nice personality and is very good at explaining key aspects in chemistry. She is also very good at explaining difficult topics in different ways that would be the most helpful for her students. I would highly recommend her.

Deniz is a wonderful chemistry teacher. She is very patient, taking time to explain things in different ways should they be difficult to understand. She has tailored her teaching based on the curriculum I am studying, providing level appropriate homework even mock tests to help me practice. I only wish I had started studying with her sooner. However, given the short time I have to prepare for exams I appreciate her going the extra mile to fit in as many lessons as possible before my exams.

We joined Kumon just before the lockdown began and soon realised how beneficial it was for our 9 year old. It offers structure, routine and support is always at hand via video classrooms or one to ones. We initially started with Math to get used to the extra monthly expense but soon it became evident that it was worth every penny and decided to add the English too. My daughter’s progress has been amazing and Sheena is always so encouraging and helpful. I am delighted to have found out about this class through a friend who recommended it to me and I, in turn, confidently recommend it for any child in need of that little bit ‘extra’ ..

I'm happy to share my experience with my economics tutor, Tushar, who helped me achieve an A in my A-level economics. His online revision course and one-to-one and group tutoring provided me with helpful revision notes as well as video explanations which were clear and easy to understand. Really useful and helpful intensive A' level Economics course. I was able to recieve extremely helpful notes and tips, as well as experience in both exam techniques and revision techniques. We were able to cover a wide variety of subjects with great depth, and cover as much of the syllabus as possible. Tushar is really experienced, and able to identify areas which need help. Would highly recommend this course.

My children aged 6 and 10 both attend and have shown great progress. The tutor Yaren seems to have built a good relationship with the kids and they both look forward to attending the lessons. They have both english and maths lessons. Their teacher at school has commented on their improvement in both lessons and also in their overall confidence in school. At the moment I am very happy as this is the fourth local tutor I have taken the kids to and finally feel that I have found a tutor that we can stick with.

Our daughter has been receiving tuition with Explore Learning New Barnet for over 4 years. She is very happy and it’s clear that she has gained a great deal of confidence with her learning and is achieving high grades at school. The centre and staff are very welcoming, and there is always a friendly, positive atmosphere. She particularly enjoys her online one to one sessions as she can focus without the usual classroom distractions of school and she is very comfortable with her lovely tutor. Due to this focus, she has often been working ahead of the school curriculum which means that by the time her school class is learning a particular module, she already has a good understanding of it. Likewise, if her class covers a module that she is a bit unsure of, she covers it again during her Explore Learning session and can ask questions in a more relaxed, intimate space where she does not feel peer pressure. We would highly recommend this to all parents as we have honestly seen the benefits to our daughter’s confidence. Her school also comment on how well she is doing in all her subjects but particularly in maths and English. Our daughter is very happy to continue with these sessions up to her GCSE’s as she understands how much it has helped her and she enjoys them!

Liz and her team are amazing. Not only do they get the results, they actually care about the progress of each child. Honestly the best tuition out there, they got me from a Predicted D to an A in a matter of months for my English GCSE- I was only expecting to leave with a C grade. The impact of this was long lasting as it helped me with my A levels and I am now going off to university. They are extremely friendly and understanding and suggest a number of resources which is just extra help to improve. They are the best tuition group out there, and I have unfortunately been through a fair few before reaching VAKS which do not even compare the the quality VAKS tuition can offer. Moreover, they are all extremely encouraging and believe that every pupil can succeed; even when they doubt themselves (which I certainly did) and go above and beyond in order to help every individual student achieve what they require, if not better. Worth every penny!
