Fantastic visit for breakfast/brunch while I was in town. This was my first experience at The Castle and I found it had a lovely atmosphere, the staff were attentive and the food was really tasty and fresh. Would visit again when in the area
My partner and I visited here on a Saturday night. We ordered the duck and chicken terrine to start, I then had the blade of beef with mash and my partner had the pork belly. I can honestly say it was some of the most delicious food we’ve had in a while. The interior is stunning too. Would absolutely return
Fantastic night - Charlotte Prince & Izzy Shaw were brilliant hosts & catered for a group of 10 really well. Excellent night, huge fans of the place. We will be back!
The food was amazing and incredible value. As a coeliac it can be limiting but the kitchen had designed options that replicated the normal menu. I was dubious at first about a gluten free beef and ale pie in a normal restaurant but the server was also a coeliac and reassured me and it was more than worth it. I'm still drooling over the meal. 10/10 would recommend. Am going again.
