Actually pretty good Green King pub. Steak pie better than the smothered chicken which as a thin and bit light on chips. See pic. But very friendly staff
Nice table near the cosy open fire. All the food was great. But the standout bit was the service - exceptional. We had a lovely family meal. Thank you to Barry and the team.
This place gets the job done for a good feed and is great for families. Staff were super friendly and attentive. The food hits the spot and falls firmly in the bracket of gastro pub grub. The venue still retains the chain vibe a bit which is a shame and probably wouldn't recommend for just drinks given the focus on food service. All in all a solid shout if visiting with friends and much improved since my previous visit.
Top place to go for good food nicely presented,service from all staff that we had outstanding. Celebrated my uncles 67th birthday and chose this place to go to for the meal. All I can say was, what a good choice I did. From the start of the evening till we left after 3 course meals for some of us. My uncle enjoyed so much that he stated to the staff that he would be coming again when he is back down again. Chef and brewer should be proud of this establishment to be part of them. That's why my rating is as it is.
