Best pub within (many!) country mile! Food is amazing and team (and local barflies) are beyond welcoming. Wholly recommend a visit (but add time, you will be staying longer!)

Very nice place, which is obviously a very local bar and restaurant which is family based and very friendly. The food was very good and the atmosphere was good. The younger staff could do with some customer service training as they forgot cutlery and us, but otherwise, it was a great place to visit
Literally the best roast we've had in a long time, amazing food and lovely friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Warm and friendly, with the open fire blazing and atmosphere to match. I had the blade of beef with mash and bourguignon gravy. The meat was so tender and delicious - I had to ask the chef how he had made it. Would definitely recommend this dish and pub and will return when back in the area!
