Richard was amazing from the first phone call, he actually tried to solve my problem without coming out and was very clear and patient on the phone. When he did come out, he was spot on time, very friendly (even put up with our yappy dogs) and fixed the problem in no time at all. No stupid or excessive call out fees, just an honest, knowledgeable tradesman which is a rare find these days... have already recommended him to our local whatsapp group.

Richard installed an EV charger for us this week. He was brilliant and I couldn't recommend his work more highly. He was quick and efficient and really helpful on the follow up that we needed to do. I felt in the safest of hands. Thanks, Rich. We'll use you again!

Very happy with the service provided. I needed to get some new plug points an lights fitted, and Richard struck me as being the person who could so it most efficiently. That was indeed the case, as on the day he worked extremely quietly and efficiently, and got the work done for a very good price. He is also very polite and courteous, and even phoned me to say he would be 10 minutes late!

I contacted Nick when I had a problem with my old fuse box and electrics in my new house, turns out I needed a full rewire but Nick was very reassuring and broke everything down in layman’s terms about everything he was going to do. He went through the plan room by room before giving me a quote, making me feel like I was in control, even though I was quite clueless! I was able to choose exactly where I wanted new lights and sockets to go, and during the rewire Nick was always happy to answer any questions I had and was always available to chat. He regularly checked in and always kept me in the loop with what was going on. Because of Nick and Anthony, my new house is now electrically safe, I have an updated consumer unit, I have nice new spotlights in the living room and I now even have two new radiators in the bedrooms, courtesy to his plumber. He was professional and courteous and happily engaged with my inquisitive kids. He worked quickly to get my power back. He explained everything really well and I felt I paid a very fair fee for the work and the call out. I'd highly recommend.

Nick deserves more than 5 stars. He is very kind, punctual, considerate, and competent. I am an old customer and have needed another repair so I contacted him again. I greatly recommend his service to anybody needing all sorts of electrical-related problems. Last but the most important thing, he charges a reasonable amount of fee, much lower than others.

After they installed a smart meter, I experienced a major problem where my fuse box exploded, blowing out (not just tripping) two fuses. It was a stressful situation, to say the least. Enter Short Fuse Electrical. From the moment I contacted them, their professionalism was evident. They promptly scheduled a visit and arrived right on time. Ian and his apprentice, Charlie, were absolutely amazing. They were courteous, professional, and incredibly thorough in their investigation. Ian meticulously traced the problem back to the smart meter installation and discovered that the Octopus Energy engineers had screwed into an existing cable. This oversight caused the disastrous malfunction of my fuse box. Ian and Charlie didn't waste any time. They fixed the issue swiftly, ensuring everything was up to standard and safe. Great service from Noel. I've used his services last year to fit in outdoor lights and garage lights with sensors. The sensors didn't not worked well when first fitted and it was replaced without a problem. Today I needed help with my Hive unit. It was sorted in no time at all. Noel is friendly, on time and has a great team. I would recommend his services to anyone who needs an electrician.

Simon first came out to replace an extractor fan. He worked quickly and efficiently and left the bathroom spotless. I then asked him to advise me on my outdoor lighting which had been playing up for a long time. He and his team replaced the lanterns with some much better quality ones and separate sensors which they adjusted perfectly so that they only come on when there is movement within the boundaries of my property. I am very happy with the result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Would use again. Since placing this review I needed a damaged light sensor replaced. Well, I can't believe how quickly it was sorted. The sensor was replaced within 3 hours of my phone call - what amazing customer service!

Simon & Matt of Current Electrical are highly competent electrical contractors who were careful to discuss our needs on site before helping us install a new power supply and data cable conduit for a future EV charging point, and to choose and install a consumer unit upgrade at our house in west London. All along we were given options with meaningful comments until such time we had decided to commit. Making significant wiring changes will be with you for a decade or more so it is important to make a good decision up front rather than just go for a cheap option. We had other works going on at the time which saved on excavations and decorating required following the electrical upgrades, and Simon arranged to work with and around the other trades. They also were very considerate laying down floor protection where necessary and cleaning up thoroughly afterwards. This was our first time using Current Electrical, based on a third-party recommendation, and are very satisfied with the service provided and the relationship through the whole process. We will contact them first for any future electrical works.

Simon helped us to install the new induction cooker (original was a gas hob) and a new kitchen hood & bathroom lightings. He had done a very professional jobs. Highly recommend.
