Our annual chimney sweep by Dave is always a yearly highlight. He is always professional, works with a passion, keeps his working environment clean and even gives the glass a wonderful sparkly clean too. His extensive knowledge is second to none, his advice is always best in class, and what he doesn’t know about chimney sweeping or log burners isn’t worth knowing. If any of my friends asks for recommendations for a sweep, it’s always Dave’s details I pass on.

Dave was punctual, professional and very willing to explain all he was during throughout the process. He offered advice regarding using our fire more efficiently. In addition he offered backup in the way he took photos and offered to send us a reminder when our next sweep is due. Overall a very good experience.

Dave is brilliant! Every year he cleans our chimney, and he’s very personable, clean, and tidy. He sends an annual reminder by text when it’s due to be cleaned, then organises a date for cleaning, then text reminders of when it’s due. He also lets you know when he’s on his way! Dave worked cleanly and efficiently and was really informative about woodburners, in particular, the compliance issues. He explained how to clean the surface of the glass door, how to lay the logs and start the fire quickly. He is friendly and his charges are more than reasonable.
