After seeing the indifference with which some of the other trades treated our home the guys from New Forest Joinery were a refreshing change. They were very careful when moving everything into position not to damage anything and they did a great job

Jonas put flooring down throughout our house. We are delighted with the end result. He communicated clearly with us throughout the installation on all aspects of the work and was completed to an excellent standard. He was prompt and finished the work on time. We wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Jonny fitted nine doors at my house last year. Firstly he is a really nice guy, secondly he is a good carpenter, and lastly nothing is too much trouble. For example I wanted to instal the old doors at my daughters and Jonny took them all over there for me in his van. I was very satisfied with the workmanship, he has the right tools, knows how to use them, and the end result has lifted the whole house. He did most of the cutting outside to reduce the dust inside, but hey its wood working and it makes some sawdust. I thoroughly recommend Jonny, he has good attention to detail, cleans up after himself, will happily adjust anything once it’s fitted, and his prices are competitive.

Jonny has done a fantastic job fitting dado rail and wall panelling in my flat. He is very skillful and professional, he has gone above and beyond and the outcome is far better than I could have expected. He was very courteous, communicated brilliantly and even came back on a Saturday to finish the job. Will certainly recommend and will be using him again 🙂👍

Jonny turned an unusable roof terrace into an absolutely beautiful outdoor entertaining area. His skills were second to none and a pleasure to work with. He wasn’t satisfied with the job until I was and never said no to anything! 5 stars was an understatement. We’ll be working together again for sure. If it’s carpentry/ outdoor kitchens you’re after, you’ll be silly not to give him a call.

We had some bespoke work done for understairs storage at home before Christmas. Work was of very high standard with good attention to detail. Nick is professional and friendly, works unobtrusively and always cleaned up at the end of the day.

Nick did a very good job replacing 3 doors which was a far from an easy job the frames being out of line. He also modified some new cupboards and fitted them on the wall. Super job, nice obliging chap very helpful recommended.

We had Nick build fitted wardrobes with sliding doors. He’s was extremely helpful with identifying a supplier for the doors, we chose IKEA internals which he assembled into the space we had giving us wall to wall wardrobes. He also installed the sliding doors which gave a great finish to the whole project. He also fitted some made to measure shelving in a relatively small gap which gave some additional storage. He was also very helpful getting the paint to match the IKEA colour. A separate project we intended to do ourselves but Nick correctly convinced us he would do it better, he built panelling along one wall of the bedroom which looks great. Always communicated what he was doing and very flexible if we couldn’t be in the house.

Nick did an amazing job fitting 2 doors last year (pic1), so we had him back to fit 5 second floor doors. He overcame plenty of issues with the door frames and door handles but with perseverance he did a fantastic job. He’s very particular which is really good and does not do shabby work, he’s booked in for another job which I wouldn’t have anyone else to do. Definitely recommend 100%. 12/12/23 I’d thought I’ll add a few more comments and pictures as I’m unable to post a new review. We would highly recommend Gareth, his work and attention to detail is second to none, he managed multiple trades as a single point of contact throughout our kitchen project with no issues and advised us along the way to ensure we had the best possible finish. Gareth’s work is clean, tidy and timed well so that first and second fix caused minimal disruption. We already have him booked to come back and do some other work for us.

I would not hesitate to recommend GA Carpentry. Gareth project managed the complete re fit of my kitchen which included plastering, electrics, new flooring and units. The quote was competitive, Gareth worked extremely tidily and came up with some really helpful and practical suggestions, the job was completed within the time frame.

Simon and co did a great job. Punctual and always turned up when they said they would. Great level of care taken in my house and excellent final results. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

3f2 construction. Converted our loft, on time and within budget. We also required a large amount of maintenance and repair to happen at the same time as the conversion. Our party wall was fixed, finial replaced, house painted, windows repaired. Would highly recommend if you are thinking about taking on a loft conversion or any other builder works. Simon completed our conservatory conversion to permanent open plan kitchen/dining/living space, along with creating a separate utility room. He coordinated all the additional trades and made sure everything was completed on time and to his high standards. I would never hesitate to recommend him, he was from start to finish amazing, very professional, efficient, incredibly tidy, worked to budget, helped with design decisions, and we’re over the moon with the end result, it’s better than we expected.
