Excellent food, brilliant service, great atmosphere

First time here, best breakfast wrap in a long time. Reasonable prices, great quality food.

Fantastic cafe with a varied menu and lot’s of great specials. Staff are friendly and the service is excellent.

Scenic location with plenty of parking available. Amazing breakfasts and cake selection, reasonably priced. Gluten free breakfast and lunch options are great, and cater for allergies. Definitely worth the visit!

Came here a few months ago for breakfast. I ordered the Mighty Oak Breakfast and a cappuccino and they were great! It was a good size and priced reasonably. Though the cafe was busy we did not need to wait and was seated right away. The ambience was ok and the shop was generally clean and tidy. The only comment at the time of our visit is that one of the ladies that serves the breakfast seemed to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. They also have a farm shop but it’s a bit pricey.

I liked this farm shop a lot, mainly because I’ve never been here before so everything was new to me, but a little disappointed to read other reviews saying it wasn’t dog friendly. It’s usually something I would notice straight away as my dog is always with me, on this occasion she was tired from her earlier walk so didn’t get out of the car. I will return as there were many interesting and different food items to purchase including dog treats. The caffe area was very busy and there seemed a lot of staff around.

Oaks Farm Shop Balsall Common CV7 7AQ Visit Date: 26th October 2024 Wow! Wow, what a find. A neighbour told us about this place and we were not disappointed. The vegetables are so fresh. The selection of meat looked fabulous. There was a tasting by Nivana Brewery; yummy non-alcoholic beers. There is a café with lovely coffee and cakes. Staff are friendly and helpful. Loos are spotless, and there's lots of car parking. Altogether, it was a worthwhile visit, although we spent more than we planned lol You will be glad you visited. 9.12.2024 Back again for a fabulous Christmas dinner. Amazing. We rented the Loft for our post wedding meal. The food is incredible - all organic and fresh. We had so many compliments from our guests. The staff are so efficient, friendly and attentive! They couldn't have done more to accommodate us from regular contact finalising details to even setting our decorations out for us. The use of their projector made such a difference too. Thank you to all involved! A beautiful venue.

I honestly had the most beautiful morning for my stepson birthday. The staff went above and beyond all wishing him a happy birthday. He even had a Happy Birthday board waiting for him at our table. Really great experience and the food and mocktails were delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Barn at Berryfields, and I can’t recommend it enough! The food is absolutely top-notch—every dish I tried was delicious, and I truly believe everyone should experience it for themselves. A special shoutout to Erika, the event manager! She was incredibly helpful with all my inquiries, even going above and beyond to accommodate a special request for out-of-menu food. She handled a complex returns issue with ease and was a vibrant presence throughout the event. The activities like skating and face painting were also a hit, adding to the fun atmosphere. Overall, everything was organized really well, making for a fantastic experience. I can’t wait to return!

Recently visited for the first time and loved the venue. Great place to meet friends and family and kid and dog friendly. I wasn't overly impressed by the breakfast. I ordered the American style pancakes and bacon and they were the thinnest pancakes I've ever seen. The cappuccino was also very small for the price. I will go back and try the lunch menu.

I visited the Quicken Tree with my family for my partners birthday meal as it was a family friend's recommendation. The place was easy to find, we were seated quickly as we had a reservation. The staff was very lovely and welcoming, the decor was beautiful and they gave us a little booth for our lunch. The menu wasn't really long which I liked. I ordered the arancini with hummus for starter and Battered fish and chips for mains. I must say I wasn't disappointed at all. Both of the dishes tasted absolutely delicious and the food tasted very fresh. We also had the 2 for 1 offer on the fish and chips. Julie who was one of the staff members , she was really sweet. She made some minor adjustments with our food which was very kind of her. The staff also surprised us with a cute dessert and sang a song for my partner. This act was heart touching as it was unexpected. They made our lunch really special. I will definitely be back and I will definitely recommend it, if you enjoy good food with excellent service!!!

Really fancied an Afternoon Tea & my fiancé booked this one for my birthday. The place is quite big which caters for various events including weddings etc. Huge grounds so there are lots of things to do with the kids, accommodation on site too. Nicely decorated with unique style. Staff are friendly & helpful, kept making sure we didn't want another pot of tea. Afternoon Tea was lovely as you can see in the pictures, other people were there were admiring the picnic bench with the sandwiches & cakes on. Nice choice of sandwiches too. We had a pleasant time.

Went today for a 40th Birthday celebration I have never been before it was amazing! The decor the outside bouncy castle for the kids wacky wagon we spent six hours there! Will defo be going back to this little gem. Had the buffet it was lovely.

Had an awesome goodbye meal with my friends here. I had the crispy chicken starter and the duck salad main course. It was just out of this world. Joel and Ethan was a legend. Looked after us and kept checking if we were happy. All in all a very good experience, highly recommended.

We had a family event there for 15 people. The buffet food was superb and plentiful and the side room we had gave us the privacy we needed. We were really impressed with everything. The staff were excellent and deserve a special mention.. Friendly and accommodating and respectful of the event., nothing was too much trouble. We had many compliments from our guests and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Bulls Head to others. I look forward to coming back in the future.

Lovely cosy hotel/restaurant/pub located in Meriden, which is technically located at the centre of England (if you drew a line from all coastlines). It's quite expensive but the food, drink and service are worth it. The wine glasses are the cleanest ever seen and attention to presentation is excellent. A visit is recommended, especially if you are celebrating something 😉👍✔️‼️

Recently stayed at one of the rooms here for my birthday and it was such a lovely time. The room was lovely and clean and exactly what we needed for a night's stay. The staff were also really lovely and friendly which made this experience even better. The breakfast was lovely and it was nice having a vegetarian breakfast with everything that I would enjoy in one. We also dined at the restaurant and the food was great along with the staff that had served us. Will definitely be coming back again. Thank you :)

Comfortable hotel with incredibly friendly staff! They went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs, from early check in to late check out. Day and Night available to support. Also very good housekeeping team! Clean rooms, free coffee, hot chocolate and cookies. Bar & Restaurant excellent as well! The rooms are old and simple but good value for money! Only the Wifi signal wasn’t good enough depending on where the room was located.

Callled in last Thursday whilst on a bike ride.Great friendly welcome,even told we could put our bikes inside! Great locally made cake(I took a piece home too) Everything very reasonably priced and looked very nice. I’ll be back.

I eat a batch here every week. Doesn't help my diet but I can't really resist it - best in the Midlands. Nice that they spoil my dog. Very friendly team.
