First time visiting this cafe, despite walking past it a million times since it opened! And what a delight it is. A great selection of drinks and cakes on offer, and the service was wonderful. I ordered the milk cake which was suggested by the lady serving, as it is refrigerated and not on display. It was delicious, along with the hot chocolate. There’s attention to detail in the presentation of food and I will be back to taste the other dishes for sure.

Amazing service, lovely staff, mouth watering food. In total a 5/5 star Cafe. I loved it. Also, because it is just near my house.

I know my mochas. Trust me, this was one solid mocha. Now, let’s not forget to give credits to the barista coz you could have top notch ingredients and equipment but if barista ain’t good, your drink is not gonna be good. It’s just facts! Ana, who was the barista of my drink, she smashed it! Perfect ratios and it tasted great! I will go back again and I’ll specifically ask for Ana to make my drink coz once I know a good barista I’ll just stick with them coz I wanna have good drink and don’t wanna risk getting my tastebuds disappointed 🤣

A popular cafe on Bearwood High Street. Warm and welcoming staff that greet you with a 😊 smile no matter the time of the day. They appear to have regular customers given by the conversation they are having whilst ordering with the staff. For a small cafe they have a good range of cakes, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks to choose from. Lots of seating inside and a nice clean toilet. The sandwiches looked nice, will probably go back and have soon. I had a warm croissant with 🔥 chocolate with marshmallows. They were both delicious 😋. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing or like myself making a visit to the dentist. As the logo inside says Eat, Drink & Relax 😊

Nice small cafe in Bearwood. Ordered the Egg Royale which consisted of smoked salmon, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce on sourdough bread. Bit on the pricey side but the presentation was excellent and food was 10/10. Eggs were cooked to perfection with a lovely runny yolk. Sauce complimented the salmon extremely well and sourdough bread was toasted just right. Loved the little extras like the radishes and greens on top. Also ordered a side of spicy beans which tastes great and goes with any dish.

I visited here two weeks ago. Prior to coming, I messaged the cafe via instagram to find out if they catered for gluten free and diary intolerances (not the same person). To my delight they said they did and so decided to pay them a visit. When you step inside here, you cannot believe you are in bearwood. It has a lovely atmosphere. We were there for a friend’s catchup, but there was also a mother and child sat nearby and also couples. The cafe does not take bookings and so be prepared there may be a wait. We were fortunate enough to find a table. The cafe were very accommodating for me and my friend who is gluten free, and were great at suggesting substitutions. I ordered the sweetcorn fritters and asked for the cheese to be removed as I have a diary intolerance. They asked if I wanted more avocado instead and I declined, instead opted for more pomegranate. (I think there was already half an avocado on the dish anyway). I also ordered a side portion of turka beans. The food was generally yummy. The sweetcorn dish was really tasty. I was also looking forward to the turka beans, which didn’t go with my meal, but had them on the side and in fairness was a large sized portion. I didn’t really enjoy them though as they put hard crunchy chickpeas in throughout. I still ate them as the side dish was expensive, and just picked the chickpeas out and gave to my friend! The above lunch cost me over £20 hence the 4* rating. Food was nice, but feel the price was a bit steep for a small cafe in bearwood. Or has everything just gone mega expensive?!

LOVE this café! Myself and my partner moved to the area a year ago and have constantly come back to this café, we love it. We're both veggie and there's a fab range of veggie options which are all super tasty. Great savoury and sweet options, particularly love the pistachio pancakes and french toast. Staff are really lovely too and it's always a nice vibe.

I have been coming here for 4 years now, always a great meal and a lovely chat. Dreams is a rare gem in the rough that is Selly Oak. 10/10 after a heavy night.

Came in on a Saturday after a Friday night out! Had the breakfast sandwich and it was lovely! The server and owner were really lovely and the food was very tasty and sorted us all right out! Would recommend if you are hungover and need some grub

I’ll be totally honest, I gave 5 stars because the price reflected what I got. It was not a good quality breakfast by a mile, but if you don’t mind cheaper produced foods then it is fine for the price. Service very good

I enjoyed a very good tasting X Large English breakfast at Dream cafe and restaurant. Navine was a very friendly hostess. Very enjoyable experience. As I was about to pay for my meal somehow the POS stopped working and the nearby ATMs too weren't working. So I had to go back to my place to get cash.😀 I will come back again.

What a fabulous cafe, I flew all the over from Dublin as a friend recommended the English fry. Wow, it did not disappoint. I love this place! Dale is a lovely owner, so friendly and welcoming and looks after his customers. Happy 11th birthday CAFE EXPRESS!!

Breakfast brilliance. Generous portions for the price, served by a crew of friendly staff. This is definitely my pick for breakfast in the area whenever my desire for a hearty breakfast outweighs my concern about heart disease. Added bonus, since breakfast is one of their specialties, they're still serving a breakfast menu hours after other places have switched to a lunch menu. Perfect for a lazy late start to the weekend.

Call in here with my son on the weekends when we go down to Harborne for a wander. Cafe is clean and tidy, staff are great and friendly. Wide range of food options available so something for everyone. I tend to have the same thing on my visits (sausage, bacon and egg sandwich and a coffee) but always a decent serving, always served hot and good for the price. Even when the staff are rushed with telephone /online orders they still ensure you're not waiting long for your order when dining in. No complaints here and look forward to my next visit.

Lovely breakfast place fast service and polite staff

I love this dog and child/baby friendly cafe, with high chairs and water bowls (and dog treats). This is an excellent place to come, no matter your situation, the staff are always accommodating, and friendly. Coffee is fresh and delicious. I have bought freshly ground coffee beans for my partner and he thoroughly enjoyed. Cakes are always tasty and they usually have a gluten free or vegan one too. The vegan chocolate cake ones, oh my are yummy. I personally think its more chocolatey and tastier than the normal non vegan chocolate cake. They have various teas and also hot chocolate which are worth a visit too. Baby changing facilities available. A little small but it is well kitted out. *The only down side it that they are not open in the evenings, as this would be a perfect little outing for the whole family.

the coffee was above average, the staffs were super kind. should note that they don’t do sandwiches anymore (asked and told they stopped serving it two years ago, but it is hard to adjust reviews on the Google map so there are still photos of nice looking brunch menus..)

What a great little place tucked away in the heart of Harbourn's suburbia. These guys really know their stuff & make coffee superbly - batch brew (using what looked like a Bonavita brewer), chemex & espresso. They are using the fabulous hasbean beans (single origin and blend). I also would highly recommend their breakfast/brunch which was superbly done when we visited. Apparently pancakes are now on the menu...so will be back to try those no doubt soon!!

I usually visit the sister cafe in Wolverhampton and when I found out the owner had opened another place in Harborne, I met up there with a friend. I parked on the public car park which is one minute away and paid by RingGo app although you can use coins. It’s inside a charity shop upstairs in a mezzanine floor and has a lovely atmosphere. This is in part to the design but also the staff are experienced and personable, just like Wolverhampton. We only had coffee - which is great - and crumpets on this occasion but I watched other customers clean their plates. The food is tasty and great value. It’s great to have another independent provider that provides quality food and service.

This is now our go-to cafe in Harborne. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the food is delicious. Today we had afternoon tea for a special occasion and it was brilliant. There was a great balance of savoury and sweet and suited us perfectly. The lemon and poppy seed cake is one of the best cakes I have ever eaten!

We were heading to a convention in the area and stopped here for breakfast. We were a little early for opening but the lady was kind enough to let us sit and wait inside. It was good that we went in when quiet as we got to explore the art on the walls which is very eclectic and makes for good viewing. There's plenty of space inside and out. Parking is found on the side road or in the back but parking in the back is limited. Food you could order through the QR code on the tables or at the counter and we did both as some of the party weren't comfortable with technology like that and they also wanted to adjust the order. There was a little delay to my food but all due respect to our server, who came to advise that there was a small error in preparing it and it would take just a little longer. The update was really appreciated. Food came and it was tasty! Drinks were nice too. All in all a good place to visit but for a cafe I did find the prices a little expensive for what you get. But the service and food can't be knocked. Enjoy your visit here.

Reserved a big space for a large mother and baby group meet up. It was our first time here. The staff were very friendly, attentive and accommodating. It's very baby friendly. Had a couple of hot chocolates. Others in the group ordered food and said it was delicious. A relaxed atmosphere that's baby friendly. We'll definitely be coming back and ordering food next time!!

Warm welcome on entry. Members of staff taking order and also serving were very freindly. The food arrived quickly and was tasty. You can also scan and place an order. The interior is nicely done and comfortable. There is a good mixture of customers enjoying a drink or a meal Set in nice surroundings, it is also a nice place to bring family. There is also outside seating to enjoy the setting. Would definitely recommend the place and staff.

This is an excellent place for casual dining; breakfast, brunch, lunch and tea, especially for parents. There are many families which dine here and the staff are always welcoming and very friendly. The food is delicious. The options are fantastic, many delicious items on each menu. The Veg Full English is the best by far. But I’ve never had a meal here and not enjoyed it. Coffee and cakes are also very tasty. A huge thanks to the management and staff for providing such excellent service and dining.

Really lovely restaurant! I went here for breakfast. The garden/courtyard area was gorgeous. I like the option of using a QR code to order. It was quick and easy to choose and pay for what I wanted. It was good that the option to adjust and modify items was there too. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. I had the vegan breakfast, which was delicious, affordable and a good portion size. The scrambled tofu was light, fluffy and flavoursome. Flat white with the house blend coffee with oat milk was also lovely. Loved it. Service was super efficient and friendly. I definitely would recommend eating here, and I'm planning on returning soon. Thanks! :)

5 stars are not enough for this place. The only struggle is to choose from such a variety of delicious food every time I'm here, there's loads of veggie/vegan options. Always welcoming and with a smile (thanks Shaun for this time!), great vibes and playlists! Veggie boss bowl will feed you for the entire day :)
