Had a good time. Loved the Mayan theme and the ambiance. The music was just so good. Food was okay, Stake could have been better in my opinion. But loved their sauces.
With its gorgeous Mayan-inspired interiors, The Mayan delivers on aesthetics just as much as it does on flavour! The menu showcases the diverse flavours that define Mexican cuisine. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The Brochetas De Pollo (chicken skewers) is a must try! The menu offers plenty of variety including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and Halal options. The staff are friendly and attentive. While The Mayan is on the pricey side, It's definitely worth visiting for special occasions or date night ✨
What a stunning meal we had, service was exemplary and the staff were so attentive and friendly. Food was absolutely delicious and we had the tacos sharing platter for 2. Meat was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Decor was a feast for the eyes, the attention to detail is on another level, even the ice has the name of the restaurant engraved. Will love to come here again.
Great time at Mayan on valentines day. Giannis was amazing! It was great to see families out and still enjoy a romantic meal. The portion sizes were good, and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. They went the extra mile.
It was my first night alone in Birmingham, and I decided to have dinner at this Mexican restaurant. I walked in around 5pm and was seated right away. My server Yiannis was polite and friendly, he gave me many suggestions for food and drinks as I have minor dietary restrictions. Food was fantastic (I had lamb and chips/salsas for appetizers.) but the server’s attentiveness and positive attitude especially stood out. I wish I could have this type of service in America… I’ll definitely come back here!
