Central Kitchen is our absolute favorite go-to brunch spot in Birmingham! The food is simply delicious (I especially love their English Breakfast and House Omelette). The staff is always super friendly and makes you feel welcome. The service is quick and everything is just perfect. I look forward to visiting again!

Want great tasting food, no fuss and brilliant service… then this second to none cafe is unmissable!! It would be a mistake to stay in your hotel and not venture out to this flavoursome location!! The service is rapid! Food is served hot!! But the coffee… wow!! The regular flat white is a full cup of coffee… and better tasting than your chain coffee houses!!

I had a meal at Grand Central Kitchen recently, and overall it was okay. The prices were fair, especially for the central location, which I appreciated. The staff were friendly and service was quick. That said, the food itself didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The dishes looked good, but were missing a bit of flavour – just felt like they needed a bit more seasoning or something to bring them to life. I’ve definitely had better meals elsewhere in Birmingham. Still, it’s not a bad spot if you’re nearby and need a bite – clean, convenient, and decent value. I’d give it 4 stars overall, mostly for the service and price.

What an amazing place. Staff is so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, cannot fault this place. 10/10 for me. Popped in for a coffee and purposely charged me for a regular instead of a large, which honestly made my day. I went back less than an hour later for a dine in breakfast. I was greeted by the same happy team

Stopped by this coffee shop for a quick caffeine fix. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant experience. The coffee itself was great, but I wish they offered a larger cup size or at least the option for one. Overall, a nice spot, but if you like a bigger cup of coffee, you might be left wanting more.

Came across this coffee place by accident. I had looked it up before but not visited. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. I had a fantastic pour-over coffee and the best cinnamon bun ever. Nice comfortable seats with plenty of room. There were quite a few people there and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. Highly recommended.

Great coffee and incredible cakes. Hands down the best espresso I had in Birmingham. The team was also very kind and patient with our little ones which we really appreciated.

We were served by Sophia—she was fantastic. So polite, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. Made us feel properly looked after from the moment we arrived. And the food? Sexy AF. I had the sweetcorn hash with a cuppa, and my partner and I shared the cheese and Branston pickle sandwich—unreal. Highly recommend!

First time here. Met with very friendly staff, especially Jonah. Food is fabulous! I have a milk intolerance, so opted for a soya Chai latte! Delicious 😋... shout out to the chef who never get noticed! Thank you.

Not the greatest place for brunch, but, THE BEST place for brunch. Great amount of vegetarian/vegan options in terms of foods and even desserts. Very clean, staff are brilliant. Food came out in less than 10 minutes. Coffee and mocha was off the hook!! Definitely will be returning.

Boston Tea Party was a surprising delight. Having a pit stop in Birmingham before we travel north, the food was incredible, the service very good, while a little slow, & vibe is great. The Boss muffin is exactly what it says on the tin. My only recommendation is to have more variety in alternative milk.

Despite, being very busy with the Saturday afternoon lunch rush, the staff that served us were attentive and served with a smile. Our server, Jagdeep, was very accommodating and efficient in his service. We will definitely be visiting again.

Amazing service from start to finish, relaxed cosy atmosphere, great coffee and iced teas, really good quality. Beautiful interior further back in seating area! Didn’t feel too cramped inside. Fast service. Definitely recommend the coffee, really good quality coffee beans great taste, much better than high street coffee shop chains!

My partner and I have visited Damascena a number of times, even their Harborne branch. We’ve loved it from the first time we visited, such a wonderful selection of drinks and food, and all of what we’ve tried we’ve been really impressed with on the whole. In particular, their coffee, (flat white and Americano are wonderful) we have also loved the mint tea, cardamom tea and the saffron latte! Their desserts have been enjoyable too, my favourite however, is the Knafe brownie. The pistachio cheesecake didn’t have a distinct pistachio flavour which was a little disappointing. The savoury options are really well priced, and you receive great portions! The Harira soup had a wonderful depth to it and their flatbread options with mince meat are always a yummy lighter option! We’ll be leaving the Birmingham area soon and we’re sad that we can’t find it in other cities. It’s been a great place to spend time together in the city, with wonderful decor that made it feel like an escape from the city, thank you.

Gorgeous food, and very reasonably priced for the portions. Everything was delicious and for those who eat with their eyes they provide take away boxes for the leftovers too. Extremely friendly and efficient service, and all staff very pleasant and courteous - special thanks to our waitress Hannah who very patiently answered about a thousand questions!

We recently visited Damascina in Mosley Village, and it was a wonderfully relaxing experience. The cozy atmosphere made it a perfect spot to unwind with a cup of coffee. We also tried some Arabic sweets, which were delicious and complemented the coffee perfectly. A lovely little gem if you're looking for a calm, welcoming place to sit back and enjoy some quiet time. One of the better Damascena locations, a friendly and clean environment and the food was hot and tasty. Service was poor as they were short staffed and one server for all the tables. The food delivery was slower than expected. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Vegan options available.

The ambiance is nice. Servers are super nice and patient. We had a good brunch here. Food is okay. The thing we loved the most was the falafels with humus. They were freshly fried and very tasty.

What an amazing experience. I am calling it an experience because not only it was a treat to the eyes but a blessing to the tongue as well. Went there with my friend and we had “Pistachio Pancakes” and “The french chicken sandwich”. Loved the presentation and absolutely amazing taste. It was also a really good portion as well. I. Love. This. Cafe. It is one the only one in Birmingham I have been back to several times, 4 to be exact, but that number will only increase! Their best dishes are the big plats with a selection of food from my experience like the Breakfast plate and the Mediterranean plate (my favourite!) the portions are good for the price. I was so full after the Mediterranean one but I really wanted to try a dessert that time. The cheesecake is good but I was too full to really appreciate it. I wish it was closer to me as it is a bit of a treck to go. Only accept cash and bank transfers and you can’t book in advance so if you don’t go in the morning when they open there could be a wait. The staff are friendly and it doesn’t take too long to be served. My pictures span from May 24-May 25 so some things might have changed since I know the menu has been updated! Overall I highly recommend and will be back!

Came to peaches today with family thankfully was seated straightaway. With it being such a popular brunch place it can get extremely busy at times however the staff are amazing at accommodating always. I was served by a lovely young lady called tani whom advised me she was new starter. I would never have known if she didn’t tell me. Was very professional and took my order quickly. She was very polite and made sure our order was accurate. Food came out fairly quickly like always and tasted absolutely amazing. Would deffo recommend to anyone looking for a new brunch place you won’t be disappointed. Thank you once again Tani for you lovely service.

I just had an incredible experience at this beautiful breakfast spot! The food was absolutely amazing every bite tasted fresh and full of flavour. You can really tell they use high quality ingredients. The décor is stunning, creating such a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the service was just as impressive, friendly, attentive, and warm. Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! The staff were so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home the moment we walked in. We ordered ‘The English Breakfast,’ Every bite was packed with flavor, and the quality was top-tier, not to mention the amazing presentation. Enjoyed a lovely brunch here. Came as a group of 8 and the owner was very accommodating, as we had 5 young children with us. Staff were very attentive, lovely customer service and gorgeous food presented beautifully. Portion sizes are big and great value for money. Beautifully aesthetic. We will be sure to visit again.

Really great brunch place! I had the Sweetcorn hash, which was delicious! Partner had Eggs Benedict - initially small looking but actually perfect portions (filled us up from 10:30am until 3:30pm. Super quick service on drinks and food (was there on a Monday. Nice appearance inside venue.

We were heading to a convention in the area and stopped here for breakfast. We were a little early for opening but the lady was kind enough to let us sit and wait inside. It was good that we went in when quiet as we got to explore the art on the walls which is very eclectic and makes for good viewing. There's plenty of space inside and out. Parking is found on the side road or in the back but parking in the back is limited. Food you could order through the QR code on the tables or at the counter and we did both as some of the party weren't comfortable with technology like that and they also wanted to adjust the order. There was a little delay to my food but all due respect to our server, who came to advise that there was a small error in preparing it and it would take just a little longer. The update was really appreciated. Food came and it was tasty! Drinks were nice too. All in all a good place to visit but for a cafe I did find the prices a little expensive for what you get. But the service and food can't be knocked. Enjoy your visit here.

We enjoyed a lovely grill brunch date at Boston Tea Party Edgbaston. Lovely location, friendly staff, I was amazing at the speedy of service and most of all the delicious food. Everything was perfect and I would highly recommend! 10/10

Always a good experience at Boston Tea Party. The food is always served warm and tastes freshly made, and the portions are just right. There’s a good variety on the menu without trying too hard, which makes it easy to find something you’re in the mood for. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, and the staff are friendly. It’s a great place to sit with a coffee or grab a relaxed bite to eat. Definitely one of the better options around.

Very nice place! Lovely food! And good prices! Would highly recommend! The staff is very friendly and it feels like you came over to their home. Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere by the channel. The decor of the place is super cool and authentic. The food came in a timely manner and it was of the right temperature and it tasted delicious. The only hiccup was that I washed for hollandase sauce to be on the side instead of the top of my eggs but they misunderstood and gave me an extra Hollandese sauce. Despite that I still enjoyed the food. Would definitely come back!

I have been to JuJu’s several times in the last year and have loved each visit. For being so close to the city centre it doesn’t feel like you are. The food and drinks are incredible, the service and feel of the place is just lovely and welcoming and we will be coming back for a long long time to come. Julia and Matthew are just a delight and cannot do enough for you.

Had the most wonderful afternoon at Jujus, eating, drinking, laughing and looking after the dog! Can’t recommend this place enough and the Sunday Roast is AMAZING! Will be back soon to sample breakfast!

This cafe is not pretending to be anything it's not! It's cost and wholesome food! We were in town for a show and came here for breakfast. The menu looked good and the food did not disappoint! We had parked about 10 mins away and I didn't see any parking local to this cafe, so make plans before hand if you are traveling by car. We were welcomed warmly and within moments seated. It looks small but has a surprising amount of space. Which it needs as it was very popular and filled up pretty quickly! You order by scanning the QR code, which seems to becoming the norm these days. When the food came it looked amazing and tasted just as good. It has a lot of options for vegetarians! A point about the coffee! It was lovely! Usually I end up adding a little sugar to dull the bitter taste, but here it tasted amazing! Just right! Highly recommend this place but I'm guessing when the weather is better, this place is that much more in demand. Definitely one I saved to come back to when in the area again. ENJOY!
