We’d previously experienced The Kitchen catering for a friend’s birthday party so decided to ask them to cater for our son’s birthday party. From first contact via fb messenger Jo was easy to talk to and guided me through all the many options. The food was of amazing quality, freshly prepared, delicious and so much of it (we won’t go hungry this weekend!) All of our guests were impressed with the quality and the value of the food, we’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic and polite service. Breakfast was great (I had the large with fried bread) and the Mocha for an extra 50p was banging I requested a take out milkshake after, Oreo and Biscoff, my regular at Five Guys which this little spot had never done before… It tastes just like Five Guys and it’s only £3.75!!! Will come here as much as I can now! 💙

It's truly rare to find such high-quality Hong Kong-style pineapple buns in the UK. You can see that this shop puts care into making every item. The food quality is excellent, refined, and very delicious. Highly recommended.

We visited Black Orange Coffee today and had a truly delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally polite and friendly, making us feel welcome right away. We ordered a cappuccino, a latte, and some desserts, and everything exceeded our expectations. The coffee had a rich, full-bodied flavor, and the portions were generous. The desserts were incredibly fresh and unbelievably tender—a perfect complement to our drinks. Overall, it was a fantastic visit, and we will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great coffee and excellent service!

very authentic hong kong style milk tea and crispy bun with thick layer of butter. bemindful that crispy bun only available from 930am and it sold out quick. the croissants were exceed expectation as well, much better than many bakeries. the black orange coffee was surprising refreshing, definitely worth trying. the only thing that i could complain was thetes no parking outside the cafe, you need to park in nearby morrison.

I recently visited Black Orange Coffee and had a great experience. I ordered a latte, and the cup was quite large, which I appreciated. The latte art was beautifully done, and the taste was quite good. For the cake, I tried the salted caramel, and it was delicious – perfectly balanced in flavor. I also tasted my friend's crispy butter bun, and it was equally delicious. As for the cinnamon roll, while it was tasty, it wasn't quite to my personal liking. The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean, cozy, and spacious. Overall, a great spot for coffee and treats!

We as a family visited La Venue for the first time yesterday. I must tell you what an amazing Chef(the owner) is! So down to earth! I loved Vegan hot chocolate❤️ My husband and kids enjoyed their drinks and meal! Perfect ambience for the family or any one who would want to enjoy perfect cuppa ☕️ with their loved ones👍

I absolutely love this coffee shop! I grabbed a tea to take home while watching the Tyson Fury fight, and it was absolutely perfect. The tea was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Even though I didn’t stay to enjoy the cozy atmosphere, the friendly service really stood out. By the way, Tyson Fury should have won that fight! Highly recommend this place for quality drinks and great service!

What an amazing coffee shop. Located in the heart of AG. Long overdue. Definitely coming back to this coffee joint. Great customer service as well as being a fast one. Went here for the first time for brunch after recommendation. Was excellent. From moment we walked in to being sat down, even though it was heaving. Great service. Ordered at the counter and they were really pleasant. Brought our drinks over timely and breakfast came within minutes. Excellent presentation as well as taste. They asked if we were ok and everything fine with food. Nothing over the top, just the right level of service and attentive detail. Really impressed. Can see why this place is so busy and popular. Definitely will be returning. They have a mixture of breakfast and lunch dishes. Great selection of teas and coffees as well as a small range of smoothies and mocktails. Prices pretty reasonable. All round 5 stars!

A great place, warm welcome, I enjoyed brunch, the service was excellent. The big bloom breakfast was flavoursome and light. Enjoyed the mango lassi and dessert. You must try the Coconut French Toast. Suhail and staff were great.Definitely recommend this place.

There is something special about this British Caribbean fusion brunch spot. Take a look at the menu, especially the island brunch. The care that’s put into the food and drink preparation has to be commended. No 393 server me the best soy flat white I’ve ever had. Taking a look at the food pic’s expect the same treatment. The cafe feels swanky, there is a cocktail lounge vibe to the interior. The reggae music will chill your soul and allow you to appreciate life island style.

First time here with my friend for her birthday brunch , was definitely Spoilt with an extra cake and a birthday tune thrown in .. friendly staff . Great service and food to die for .. dog friendly to , so will definitely return with our fury pups

The classic breakfast is really well done - amazing hash browns. Smashed Avo was fantastic - honey chilli sauce was a great touch. Price is on the high side, but the quality of the food justifies it. Always a small gripe with places of this size; the tables for two with decorations force a little surface rearranging - but the breakfast and staff certainly made up for it. Highly recommended - at the expected busy times, make sure you book ahead.

It was super busy this morning. Lovely to see an independent cafe thriving! Staff were nice and accommodating. Coffee was amazing. We ordered the Full English, everything was really nice except the hash browns. One was really tough & chewy and the other was really nice. Quite odd but hey these things happen. Love that it’s Dog /Child friendly. All cutlery is available at the front with clean cups for water. All self explanatory. Very clean.

We have visited this Cafe many times now and we absolutely love it- if you are in Knowle, you must visit this place. The staff here are so welcoming and attentive, and very engaging with our young children which is lovely to see, and its great to see genuine beaming smiles. The food is of excellent quality, comes out hot and full of flavour. The decor is modern, contemporary, comfortable and clean. Overall its a pleasurable experience everytime we dine here and we are already looking forward to our next visit after visiting only this morning. Thank you Paul and team. See you again very soon.

Forever my favourite local cafe and kitchen. Paul, Hayley, Loren and the team make this place feel like home, and whether you live in the area or coming from away, you'll always be made to feel like that. As well as having the most photogenic and tasty food and drinks, for someone who always takes photos of that. Friendly staff. Lovely food. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious and so was the hot chocolate with cream (I chose no marshmallows though with mine) and they put a lovely little biscuit with it. I had 2 hot chocolates (both with a little biscuit included). One pre-breakfast and one to have with the breakfast. I had an option of toast with butter or bread and butter, white or brown bread, too. I chose brown toast with butter. Didn't have to wait too long for breakfast (guessing 10-15 minutes although didn't time it). Greatly recommended

Very very busy cafe, you may need to queue but it won't be long and it's worth it. The menu is interesting. I chose a DIY option - kimchi cheesy hush brown, 7-minute egg and smoked bacon. Both the food and coffee was super tasty. The price is reasonable. Will definitely try the cake next time as they look so delicious! Recommend.

Our fave place for brunch in Brum. Always has an interesting menu with good veggie options. The seven minute eggs plus a side of hash browns is a great go to. The coffee sometimes takes longer than the food when it's busy but we always get what we ordered. The Christmas sandwiches and Brussels sprouts hash browns were divine!

Absolutely delicious food , cosy vibes and a great independent run restaurant in Stirchley. The food menu is great with unique combination of flavours. Kimchi hash browns are the best hash browns I have ever eaten. The restaurant gets very busy during the peak hours.

As a coeliac I can’t tell you how happy I am how I can finally trust a cafe! 100 perfect gluten free options and so caring and kind answering questions. It is such a treat to see loads of gluten free cakes separated ! Please can you both have a cafe in dickens heath!

Without doubt the best around for some distance! Haven't found a better coffee yet. Always welcoming and accommodating, especially to my dog who goes in with me. Good food and cakes. Has become not only my go to with friends and family but to work from during the day also. Friday pizza night is also a winner! Highly recommend.

Wow...I was amazed from the entrance all the way out to the exit. Get in ask for a table, sit check the menu, get up go to the counter and place your order, and just sit an wait for the most biggest plate to come over to you with delicious foods. 1 of best breakfasts of my visits to similar places, and while im here I'm visiting again tomorrow for the healthy bowl.
