Review: A Delightful Brunch Date Spot Yesterday, we decided to try out Bloom for a halal brunch date. It’s a cozy spot that’s gained quite a reputation, so we were eager to see if it lived up to the hype. As soon as we arrived, we noticed how busy it was—always a promising sign. Despite the crowd, the line moved surprisingly fast, and the staff was impressively organized. While we waited, the lively buzz of conversations and the sight of colorful dishes being served heightened our anticipation. We ordered hot chocolate, vanilla latte, waffle chicken and croque Madame. We also couple of their pastries.The portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The service was another highlight. Even with the packed house, the staff remained attentive and quick to address requests. Our food arrived in under 20 minutes, which is no small feat given how busy it was. If I had to nitpick, it would be the noise level. It’s not the place for a quiet, intimate conversation, but honestly, the energy felt infectious rather than overwhelming. Overall, Bloom delivered on all fronts: delicious food, great service, and a vibrant atmosphere. It’s definitely worth a visit, whether it’s for a casual date or a meet-up with friends. Just be prepared for a bit of a crowd—it’s popular for a reason!

I had a wonderful visit to Bloom today with my mum, auntie, and younger brother. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the lovely staff and promptly seated, which set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The atmosphere at Bloom is perfect – comfortable, laid-back seating that makes it an ideal spot for a family outing. Plus, we found parking conveniently right outside, which made the whole experience even easier. The menu offers a wide variety of tempting breakfast and lunch options, as well as an impressive selection of drinks. We ordered the Full English Breakfast, Classic French Toast, and English Breakfast Tea. The food arrived quickly, piping hot, and just as delicious as we’d hoped. Every dish was perfectly cooked. Overall, we were all thoroughly impressed with the food and service. Bloom truly stands out as one of the best breakfast spots in Birmingham, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch breakfast or brunch experience. It’s definitely one of my top 3 spots in the city!

I went here for their new brunch menu, and wow, I was simply amazed. We had a different selection of food, and they were all thoroughly enjoyable. The food did take a bit of time to come out. However, it was worth it for the taste alone.

Visited for brunch, what can I say… it was absolutely delicious! The bagel with fried egg, turkey rashers and cheese went well together. The sourdough with avacado was one of the best I’ve had the harrisa complimented this really well. The pancakes were fresh and fluffy. Couldn’t pick a favourite. The service was great thank you to the young lady that served us yesterday morning. Would definitely recommend, thank you!!

I've been here a few times for their desserts today I came to have their brunch, I ordered the Turkish eggs & my friend had the bagel with avacado, harissa & halloumi cheese. We really enjoyed our food, everything tasted delicious, it was different than the other local places, portion size is also good & the drinks tasted good too! I like that they have good healthy options too. Service from the staff was amazing, I'll definitely be back again for their brunch & highly recommend it to all!!

This is one of those magical places where the customers enter as strangers and leave as friends. The 'build your own breakfast' is ideal, just choose what you like, no swapping out things you don't. Tasty food and a good cuppa too. Don't hesitate.

Walking in, not being from the area I was wary. Specially when everyone seemed to know everyone! I needn’t of worried - the service is outstanding and the bread is amazing. The people who run this are the nicest people - honestly they were so attentive. Speaking to us and was just generally so accommodating, blown away. Also the food was good - we have tuna and cheese toasties and they even ask what sort of dressing you want on the salad! I had a breakfast sandwich and my god the bread is soo thick and good! Popped into this lovely cafe on coleshill highstreet. Lovely atmosphere and amazing service from all the staff that were there. Nothing was ever too much especially with a fussy 2 year old. Love that this is a dog friendly cafe, my Bella was so chilled out and enjoyed her sausages. Highly recommend this cafe to all, fast service for food and great recommendations for a sunday roast to be delivered in the area! Will see you soon.

What a lovely clean cafe. I popped in on my way to Birmingham Airport for a cup of tea. I didn't realise it was cash only and I didn't have any. The gentleman serving said its only a cup of tea, so doesn't matter. How lovely was that. Thank you 😊

What a lovely shop with amazing food and friendly staff members/owner. Absolutely loved the Chicken Wings Tray—generous portion and so delicious. It comes with rice & vermicelli, salad and sauce too. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Nicely located in Coleshill off the high street, easy to park. The shop is decorated with taste and well looked after, makes you feel cosy. Warmly greeted and presented with a great food selection. I opted for the bacon and brie panini with caramelised onion and a salmon wrap. Both were amazing, tasty and cooked with fresh ingredients. Portions are generous and fairly priced. Will definitely visit again, I warmly recommend!

Been going to Gino’s pretty much most days for the last few years, always 10/10 freshly cooked food, great staff, always happy! and even better baklava ;) ignore the previous review from Paul Daniels he must have the Monday blues!!

Food is very good. The pesto chicken panini was a bit dry. It could have done with cheese or something.

Came in for lunch with my mum this week and had a really great experience. The staff were friendly and quick with service. We had a ham sandwich and a ham baguette and the fillings were really generous and clearly high quality produce. Absolutely brilliant value for money and I’ve got to come back for a jacket potato as I spotted one when I was leaving and it looked delicious! Would definitely recommend popping in here for food!

I just had a dine experience at Costa in Coleshill. I only had a cappuccino and chocolate croissant and both were great. Although Costa is a chain I quite like the coffee, strong and smooth. Nice! The girls serving seem to be getting younger, or am I getting older 😂, but they were lovely, both smiled and were attentive. It’s great for Wi-Fi and clean toilets

This Costa has to be a firm favourite of mine. Atmosphere is my main reason to entertain my friends. Easy to park outside, step into the world of coffee, sit and enjoy. Here again. Why not. Might be good to have a disabled hand push automatic pad to allow parents with children, anybody really who's in a chair to enter and exit at ease.
