First visit yesterday. The place had a constant flow of customers who were efficiently served with excellent food from an equally good selection. I can see why this is a well established and popular place.🙂

This is a lovely place. The food is beautiful, and the homemade cakes are to die for. The staff are really nice

The staff are always pleasant and polite, Jamie, Alan, Gemma and "B" are brilliant at making the guests feel welcome and comfortable. We have children with additional needs and this location is perfect for wheelchair access with convenient parking close by. The selection of drinks is always great and the staff are always willing to let you try before you buy. The food is always hot and as fresh as you would expect, and they are always willing to make the kids meals just as they want them. The location is among the best in the Wetherspoon's portfolio in our opinion, next to a lovely canal marina where the sun sets over the water opposite the outdoor seating area. Many thanks to all the staff for making this pub one of our favourites in the area.

Me and my partner normally have breakfast and a couple of drinks on a weekend, but we decided to have something to eat last night. I had the ham and eggs she had, fish and chips. When her fish came back, it was clearly overcooked and dry. To be honest, the kitchen staff was overrun because the place was packed but the the manager noticed that her fish was overcooked and said change it if he hadn't of, my partner would of put up with it. and the meal replacement was delicious like it has always been in the past. What I'm trying to say is that the manager and staff at the time couldn't do enough for us, and thanks for seeing an unusual below your standard meal. Thank you

Very busy pub with quick friendly service and great prices. By using the app all food and drink is ordered and bought to the table which is really convenient.

If you want a hearty carvery then you've found the right place. Very good value for money. The place could do with a freshen up though, it looks a little dated and tired. All in all great traditional grub.

A little late on this, but we had our wedding party/meal here back in June for just about 30 of our family and friends... the staff, management and kitchen were absolutely faultless and did everything they could for us, we had our own room and we were given a lovely free bottle of prosecco too. We decorated to how we wanted nothing was too much trouble, couldn't have enjoyed it more and was so happy with the way everything turned out. Thankyou again for such a brilliant experience on such an important day. We will be back for a visit very soon!

A few families turned away due to it being fully booked. 3.Carvery straight after school run this afternoon. Booked a table but didn't need to. Was nice and quiet when we arrived. Good service as always. 2. Not so busy this time. Always enjoy the carvery. 1. Always rammed when i come here but can't beat a good carvery. Get the tickets and straight up for food always seem to avoid the rush too much

A rare unique taste that can be felt with every bite, Asians and Indians, especially Punjabi can taste here chicken curry, that is scrumptious, also got a treat after praising the food

I had an absolutely incredible experience here. The latte I had was the perfect thing after some shopping and Fallon could not have been more patient and supportive as I picked what cake to have alongside my latte. She is a lovely young lady who is a credit to the team and is the reason I will be back.

I've gone to Gloria Jean's a few times and I've always thoroughly enjoyed the food and service there. I'd like to especially credit Emily D who was especially attentive and polite. She went above and beyond what I'd expect any worker to do and she seemed sincerely pleased to help. I would highly recommend going there for a productive sesh with a hot choc in hand.

I have used this establishment many times over the past couple of years. I can honestly say that the food is consistently good and good value for money. The chicken and mushroom pies are my favourite and they are packed large pieces of chicken. The staff are friendly too so it’s worth a visit. Highly recommended

Very filling, compared to other fast food places that never fill you up, harpers does. The food was absolutely delicious, i had the cottage pie meal and i was very impressed and filled me up! Then i had a chocolate sponge for dessert which was slightly disappointing as it tasted a bit cheap but was still alright. Felt like a homemade meal but in merry hill. 100% recommend.

If you're in the mood for some classic comfort food, then this is the place to go. The steak and ale pie is fantastic, with plenty of good-quality meat. The cottage pie is also delicious, with lovely, creamy mash. The veggies are well-cooked and the roast potatoes are good too. Very good portion sizes – they really do pile it on the plate! Staff are friendly and helpful and keep things moving along nicely, so you're not waiting for long. Highly recommend!
