What a little gem! Coffee is divine and the food was amazing. I ordered a prawn sandwich and it was fully loaded with prawns. No skimping or being short changed here. Lovely to hear local Italian people meeting up and chatting always a good sign of an authentic eatery. There is outside seating and I could have happily sat all day with a coffee a magazine soaking up the atmosphere. I came back today (Sunday) to take some photos but sadly was closed. Please open up on a Sunday! Will come back again soon.

Stopped here on a charity cycle ride from London to Poole. What an amazing pitstop for 15 minutes. Internally, the cafe is incredibly cosy, with a quintessential English feel to it, in a quiet, bucolic setting. When it comes to cakes, they offer all the classics, and by the taste of the granola bar I ordered, I reckon they have the recipes bang on. I also noticed a wide selection of teas, which I will have to try next time. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area and “gasping for that cuppa!”

Got here late Friday afternoon on the bike after being stuck on the m25. I wanted something to eat, waitress said they dropped service at 3pm was 3.30 but the chef said Wahr so you want, I’m still here. He knocked me up a cracking cheese and ham Sanga, home. Poked ham, mature cheese pan fried. Yum! So tasty. Staff were great. A lovely lad looking for souvenir coins. A couple of their 60th wedding anniversary (we are 90 you know!) and a lovely Hygge vibe!!! Great people. Toilets outside.

A friend told me about this place and I happened to be visiting Egham for the day, so I decided I must give it a visit. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. I have nothing bad to say about it. I'd definitely come here again if only I lived closer.

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Owner operated brunch spot in Egham. It’s a great atmosphere with maybe room for maybe 20-22 covers. We had 8 people in our party spanning four generations and there was something for everyone on the menu and everyone was so pleased with the food and service. We will come back and highly recommend. How it works? Amazing for walk-ins and find your seat , menus are on the wall and sauces and cutlery are set to the left hand side of the restaurant. Once you choose what you want go to the front and place your order. Remember your table number. Get your cutlery and some ketchup, sit down and within 15 - 20 min you have all you need for a great brunch! Food The food is freshly made, a huge variety of brunch favorites. We would recommend the Pancakes, French Toast, Eggs Benedict and Chips. Food came out quick (especially for a party of eight!) Service The team does not normally take reservations. I understand this, there is no guarantee that the folks will show up and a business like this needs to make their weeks earnings on Saturday and a Sunday. However, if you call up and have a large party you might be in good luck. The team is proffesional and make you feel like you are at a friends house for brunch rather than a restaurant. The owner operators can be heard welcoming customers aka strangers into the establishment whether they are in the front of house or giving a helping hand in the back. Equally no one get leave without a warm goodbye. During the ordering and serving process, everything is smooth and met with a smile. Something’s might not work out, for example out of our 8 person order, one item was not in stock and the owner (not the server serving us) came out, apologized and made a very good alternate recommendations. Drinks Great choices. Coffee is nice and strong, kids loved their hot chocolates but the group favorite was bubble tea. All great options. Tips Great location if you live in Egham. If you are visiting there is paid parking at Waitrose and Tesco parking is free on Sundays ;) Overall value It’s rare to find good service these days and to couple that with fresh brunch favorites is very rare. If you are looking for brunch in Egham area. Give this place a go! It’s not easy running your own business so well done to owner operators at Egham On Toast. Keep it up, Well Done and Thank You!

Premier Cafe

P: 01784 435682

Rating: 4.4 (92) Price Level:

I've only just discovered this place, what a gem! The staff are friendly, the place is immaculately clean, and the food quality excellent. I had ham egg and chips, the ham was the proper off the bone ham, not the processed rubbish you get elsewhere, perfect eggs, and more chips than I could eat(and I've a big appetite.) I can see myself eating here on a regular basis. Well done ladies!

Rating: 4.4 (585) Price Level:

I only came across this wonderful gem of a cafe because I had to wait for my windscreen repair with the business next door with the same name. Amazing food, plenty of vegan options which I did not expect! Had a tasty tofu scramble on sourdough and a fabulous oat milk flat white in comfortable surroundings with friendly staff. What a genius idea to create this cafe so people can grab a bite and a drink while they wait 1-2 hrs for their windscreen to be done! Free WiFi too so one can even do some work while waiting, well, only if they absolutely must 😁 If this place was near me I would come even if I didn't need a windscreen repairing!

Find of the week! I went to get my windscreen fixed next door, came here to grab a coffee and wait. Staff were so friendly and the coffee was so good I thought I'd eat too. Was very happy with my enchiladas 😋 9 pound for a nice big spicy one with a very fresh salad. And I mean a salad, not a leaf with a tomatoe on it. A full salad. I wouldn't say I'd crack my windscreen just to come back, but I'll swing by again in the future for sure. Go check it out.

The breakfast here is fantastic, as someone who eats a full English most mornings I can say the quality of the food here is top notch. Bacon was thick and crispy, sausages were delicious, coffee was perfectly prepared and you can tell the egg is free range. Also served with a smile and didn’t have to wait long at all.

A lunch to remember, let me tell you. The food was nice. Could have been hotter and the bacon and black pudding could have been cooked longer. My mocha was very nice and chocolatey, and as photographed, comes with a biscoff biscuit which was swiftly nicked by my partner. The staff were friendly although the tension pouring out the kitchen was palpable. After deep consideration and attentive eavesdropping, my partner and I did figure out the root of the tension. Really enjoyed the visit and have also heard they have great milkshakes.

They have a full vegan menu. We ordered three tapas and a main. They were tasty, especially the cauliflower wings. The garlic bread was quite plain though. The sharing plates could be cleaner.

I’ve never been to one of The Lounge chains. I met two teacher friends, as it was half-term, here. I really enjoyed the food and I would definitely return. However, you need to accept Blue Light Cards or give Student Discounts. I would ordinarily go to Bar 163, where I love, and who rival you on price and taste imo.

If the main reason you're looking up reviews for this restaurant is because you've spotted the words "Nasi Goreng" on the menu, and you now want to see if any Malaysian/Singaporean person has tried it to verify it's authenticity, then you're in luck, because this is that review. Sadly however, the Nasi Goreng does not taste at all like the real deal. It's basically a generic Asian stir fry that you'd find in a fusion/westernised Asian restaurant. But that's not necessarily a bad thing; in fact it's still pretty nice as its own standalone, completely separate dish. Just don't expect actual Nasi Goreng. My other slight complaint was that when I went there at 2.30pm for lunch, which was admittedly on the late side, half of all the mains on the menu were no longer available. The atmosphere was good though. Nice lighting, very clean, friendly staff, and toys for little children.

That was simply the best Christmas meal I've had in a long time! Beautiful cosy pub, beautifully presented formal restaurant..yet felt relaxed and homely. From the selection of dainty warm bread rolls to a piping hot coffee the service was excellent and friendly. The main event was so tasty I ate it before I could take a photo!! A proper Christmas Dinner. A colourful plateful of succulent turkey, full selection of perfectly cooked bite sized vegetables (barely needed a knife! ) Oodles of cranberry sauce and individual little jugs of gravy if you wanted extra. Finished with some amazing home cooked and different from the normal desserts . Highly recommend.
