What a wonderful experience visiting the Seven Stars Inn Wool, Moreton, Dorchester restaurant. The food was first class cooked with love and care by a really good head chef and his brigade. Couldn't fault the food in any way what so ever good flavours, textures and presented very well. A really great dining experience which I will remember for a long time. The front of house staff very very friendly, professional providing a great service to compliment the kitchen Definitely worthy of a 5 star review and I would definitely recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant and I hope I will be back here myself.

I recently visited the Seven Stars Inn, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The staff and their service were outstanding, making me feel truly welcomed with their warmth and attentiveness. I ordered a chicken curry meal, chips, and wings as a takeaway, and as an Indian, I was amazed by the flavors—it was so delicious that I almost fell in love with the food. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for amazing hospitality paired with excellent cuisine!

Very good food, value for money, traditional pub, log fire , a bit out of the way but worth the visit

It was amazing. The dinner was really yummy. Huge portion, we had the steal & ale pie with chips and veggies. The meat was sooo tender, juicy and full of flavour. We stayed for one night in the little rooms they have in their fields. Very cozy and cute. Clean toilets and the shower was working really well. A nice warm bath after a hike to the beach. Breakfast was included, a nice english breakfast. I loved the sausages, very flavourfull. We had some tea or a coffee plus the Orange juice. I asked the staff if we could feed the pigs some apples that were in the floor and she said yes, very cute piggies! The staff is very kind and helpfull.

This place is a little gem There are a few tables to eat at so I would strongly suggest that you book in advance. The food was absolutely fantastic The chef loves to cook and you can certainly see this and taste this when your plate arrives. Also lovely local ales to try I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and I hope you will too.

Delicious well priced lunch. The salads were great and the pork was plentiful. Can't wait to make a return visit!

Seduction in the form of sausage rolls in the shop window 😍. Stopped to explore the town and a stroll along the river, this looked like the place to be. Good choice of sides to go with the freshly baked sausage roll, so was definitely a great choice. Coffee good too.

We had the rarebit and avocado smash. Both were decent. The highlight was the actual shop itself, which was charming, with a lovely community feel and local meat.

Amazing food, Amazing ambience and Great service. There was no waiting time, even though the place was filled on a Wednesday morning 10am. Great bunch of ppl running the place. The cowshed breakfast was a delight. The hash browns was one of the best i have tried in UK. Overall, it is highly recommended.

Had the pleasure of visiting here last Sunday we arrived just after 10 and there were already quite a few people here. Offered seating inside or out, we ordered coffees which were very good and then I chose the homemade granola bowl which was absolutely delicious (it was also huge!) my husband chose the Mexican open flatbread which looked amazing, which he said was really good. Lovely friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We had a baby shower for my sister at The Cow Shed in their Barn area on Saturday, and it was perfect - everything we had hoped for! The staff were so helpful, both in the lead-up to the event and on the actual day. The barn itself is really picturesque, which was perfect for photos. We opted for a cream tea with both sweet and savory scones, and it was lovely. We paid per head for drinks, which guests could get from the private bar as and when they wished. There was plenty of room for games ect too. We couldn't recommend it more. We had the most special afternoon celebrating our new arrival with family and friends. Really good food. We have been the last 2 weekends, and had the fish and chips both times and has been consistently excellent. The service is polite, friendly and efficient. There are 2 car parks providing plenty of free parking. They have a very generous outside area with plenty of seating too.

An excellent, well presented pub with superb food and very friendly staff. What more do you need?? The menu is a nice balance of staples and really imaginative dishes. The crispy chicken with chilli starter was amazing and the chargrilled chicken with chorizo was fabulous. The ham, egg and chips was probably the best I have had anywhere, a simple dish prepared very well with good ingredients. We will be back

Fabulous place, food amazing. Stumbled upon this pub during a long drive home. Lovely place, service was good but think the lady could smile lol. Spoke like she didn't want to serve happy when with colleagues haha. That's the only reason for deducting a star on service. Had a lamb burger and chips. Wow best chips ever, so thick, crispy on outside and fluffy on inside. Burger tasted homemade. Sounded expensive on ordering but my goodness it was eoth every penny.

Food was excellent, with a good selection for those with allergies. Fish and chips was huge. The flat bread was a little disappointing though in comparison to the other mains. Still good though!

This place was great! Stumbled across the Black Bear after visiting the Tank Museum. We had one of the specials, pulled pork and fries which were really tasty and surprised me! And at a very decent price of £9.50! There are a few places to park and it was really nice to sit outside in the sun, friendly staff as well. I would definitely recommend to anybody in the area!

Lovely village pub in the village of Wool. Near Bovington tank museum and Monkey World. Compared to the surrounding areas The Black Bear is very reasonable. Light lunches and some specials always available. Great selection of ales and wines. Big garden and seating inside also. Plenary of parking around the area.

The restaurant is very near to wool station just 5 min walk. I really like the vegetable burger was so so awesome .They have a variety of alcohol, I didn’t like the cider a lot but beer was really good . Good place to chill with friends .I would really like to visit again
