Easy parking and a lovely atmosphere. It’s a bar AND a cafe. I tried a green smoothie and it was lovely. One VEGAN cake option - apricot flapjack that’s delicious. Good quality coffee too. Nice selection of tables and a little outside seating area. Nice local walks up St Catherine’s hill too.

The Bunker (Carries Bar) is a fantastic spot with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. The cozy decor creates a perfect setting for a relaxed meal or a fun night out. Highly recommend!

We celebrated my 21st birthday in style at the bunker cafe. Carrie and her staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us and my guests. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend the Bunker Cafe for any special occasion. Thank you.

I had a lush milkshake with kinder bueno and it was amazing! A huge range of flavour that I struggled to pick which one to go for. They also gave me option to pick flavours as a sundae instead. We shared some churros with milk chocolate on (again a choice of toppings) and they were honestly the best ones I’ve ever had! Perfectly crisp on the outside yet super soft in the middle, lovely and warm and a good size portion. The ladies working in the were super friendly and a good laugh, highly recommend this place!

My friend and I were welcomed by these two amazing ladies. They were so kind to us! We had a lovely time here. We arrived around 3:30 and didn't have much choice left but we had a victoria Sponge and a mocha which were both absolutely delicious!

What a great little place, so glad our friends brought us here. I went for the biscoff milkshake, absolutely brilliant. Just the right balance. Staff were friendly, not bad prices. Will go again.

We had the Friars Breakfast, I have a gluten intolerance and was very pleased that I could have everything that my husband had, with GF sausage & toast. It was all well cooked & nicely presented. Good value for money and a super view of the Isle of Wight. Will definitely be back.

We stopped here close to closing time and the staff were great. They offered us the snacks we wanted and prepared them with no fuss. The food was great and the coffee was very nice. If you are here on the beach or just passing, stop here for a bite or drink.

We sat on the beach for a late lunch, in the sun in late October and had a good honest lunch. Ordering was quick, short wait for food but it was spot on. All enjoyed and clean plates all round.

Excellent cafe on the promenade of Avon Beach between Mudeford and Highcliffe. Good varied menu at reasonable prices. All cooked to order so there can be a wait at busy times. Seating inside and out.

Chai latte with views of the sea. We weren't rushed but politely informed that our table was reserved for later (we still had over an hour before the reservation so did not feel pressured at all). Staff were very friendly and the drink was well made. Good atmosphere and they had gone to efforts with their tasteful Christmas decorations. Looking forward to returning and trying more out.

Delicious cheeseboard, don't think the sandwich was freshly made, had been premade, and chilled, which spoilt it. Great chips. Friendly prompt service. Beautiful view. No accessible entrance. My partner had to negotiate four steep steps.

Excellent food..... brilliant price...but is always busy and food takes ages to come out....but is definitely worth the wait. But if you are in a hurry it's frustrating. But you can not fault the quality or the waitress..it's probably because it is so popular

We ate here and we had a lovely meal. It was very relaxed and lovely staff. We will definitely go again on our next visit.

This place has a great look inside. It is part of a chain as I recognise the menu from elsewhere. It is a lovely environment to be in. This one has lots of families on a sauturday, so has a real family feel. For some reason I wasn't allowed to photograph our drinks on the tray, but the coffee here is good

What a gem of an eatery this is. A wonderful atmosphere. It's both big and cosy. Pictures adorn the dark wood walls making it feel like an exclusive club. The food we had was interesting: tasty, colourful but needed a bit more bread. The service was on point and the coffee very nice. Definitely recommend.

Really well organised place separate queues for food pizza drinks lots of seating area and can sit on beach tables. Food was freshly prepared so you have to wait to be buzzed. Very tasty spicy prawn tacos in pitta boats and spicy prawn kebabs. Perfect lunch snack with a beer on a sunny day.

5 Stars Popped into The Boathouse on a Saturday afternoon with my mother and father for a spontaneous meal. We received a warm welcome and were seated straight away, which was a lovely start to our visit. We opted for the set menu, which included French onion soup, Christmas turkey, and dessert. Every dish was delicious, and the flavors really stood out. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. A wonderful experience overall—we’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Loved the outdoor trailer style coffee shop, lovely service and tasty cakes and coffee at a reasonable price. Inside the restaurant looks like it would be a great place for an evening meal and I shall return to try. Also a fantastic location with public toilets nearby and parking nearby.

A really nice and welcoming atmosphere. Heaters on, rain outside - a very cosy vibe. They offer good portion sizes, and were accommodating with swapping a few items out for others, good quality food in general . I would definitely recommend a breakfast here.

Lovely place with super friendly staff! Will always come here in future. Had a coronation chicken sandwich and so pleased it wasn't drowning in sauce as I like to taste the chicken too, some places you wonder if the mountains of dressing are to cover something up!

Lovely little place in centre of Christchurch. Decent food selection and the price is very fair for the portions. Had salmon avocado toast for a light brunch and left feeling quite full! Staff were very friendly. Service, while a bit slow, was plenty satisfactory.

Update: Even better than before! Staff very helpful and the food was good. This is a quaint little coffee shop, and although small, there are a few different seating options. The coffee is good and it's a very relaxed place. I hear that they are dog friendly and that they can get really busy on a Saturday. The wall decorations are painted by a local artist and the place has a feel of quality. The only strange thing was that they don't try and serve you unless you are standing at the till...I had to ask where to go to be served!

We love this place but just wish there was more seating as clearly every one else in xchurch agrees. One thing I would like is wholemeal/granary bread, they do sourdough or white sadly. Prices can be a bit steep but mostly worth it
