Got a great cup of tea but the stand out was the spiced chickpea pasty was awesome! Stopped in Bridport on a recommendation and so glad to have found this place.

Beware does not take cash. Reasonable pasties and a decent cup of tea.

Excellent and tasty Cornish pasty and sausage rolls... Id drive there again just for lunch (80 miles away). All cooked on site too. Thanks guys for a really good food experience.

Great Bakery, with a great choice of reasonably priced savoury tasty pasties and pies along side cakes and tarts, etc. There is seating inside, where pets are welcome. However this is a very popular cafe, where you well may have to queue. It can be so busy that the staff haven't the time to clear tables, or check the toilets, as these are very busy too.

My big sister beryl. The wannabe Mrs ,Bucket. Took mum and dad too this restaurant for a Christmas meal. Having just had new dentures. Dad put his teeth under a napkin. On the side plate ... And completely forgot about them. Imagine the young waitresses surprise. Thought she had a Christmas tip..ššš„š. Only too find dad's teeth. Beryl red faced went back a couple of days later too get them So he could chew her burnt offerings for Christmas day..

Amazing place to eat for a special meal or to find great seafood. We had the chowder on special for starter which was insane! Fish pie was lovely but the prawn curry was to die for. Will be returning 10/10! Also lovely interiors, nice atmosphere and staff were lovely, attentive and ensured we had enough room with our dogs

I love what Rise has done with the place. It's gorgeous inside with lovely views. We were very warmly welcomed, I think they must have been fairly busy and service was relatively slow. But it didn't matter as we were there to enjoy the place, and the staff were lovely. The food was really nice and a good sized portion. It's a bit spenny but for location and food I can't really fault them for what they charge. Definitely recommend

The Lyme Bay

We returned to Lyme Regis and had breakfast here again. We decided to have dinner here too and we were not disappointed. The food is delicious and we absolutely love it in here.
Rating: 4 / 5
The staff and the atmosphere at the Lyme Bay was great. Staff made real effort to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast menu was limited but quality of food was great. Eggs Benedict are especially great. The only thing to mention that wasnāt great was the price. Ā£40 for breakfast for two is a lot. If you get over this, the rest is great.

We called in for breakfast on a blustery December Sunday morning. The staff were friendly, cheerful and accommodating (unlike me on a Sunday!). Breakfast was excellent, and all from local suppliers. A couple of minor substitutions were no problem. I'd definitely go back and see what else that have on offer.

Nestled right by the sea, The Lyme Bay has mastered the art of combining incredible food with an unforgettable atmosphere. The vibe is warm, relaxed, and inviting. The staff is not only friendly but incredibly attentive - striking the perfect balance of being present without hovering. The outdoor terrace boasts an unobstructed view of the sea. Space heaters and a cozy wood fire pit add to the experience. The Lyme Bay goes above and beyond with thoughtful touches like blankets and hot water bottles, so even a chilly day or evening can be enjoyed in comfort. The music, a well-curated mix that suits the setting, just adds to the overall great vibe. The menu caters to all, with fantastic vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Their gluten-free fish and chips and in-house-made fish fingers never disappoint, and dietary restrictions donāt mean compromising on quality or flavor. Each dish is crafted with care, and you simply canāt go wrong, no matter what you choose. Whether youāre wanting a leisurely breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a drink by the fire, The Lyme Bay will leave you planning your next visit before youāve even finished your meal.

Came here on a weekend. I was craving for a chippy. So we went here. The waiting time was roughly 2-3 minutes. We were seated outside ( a bar-like table and chair). The view is good, you can see the sea, and also the adjacent restaurant as well. We waited for around 30 minutes for our food to be served (but that was normal since it was really busy at that time). The food came. Fish and chips. The fish was good, it was soft and the coating is crispy- it did not have the aftertaste of oil compared to some chippy I have tried. The garden peas have a bit of flavour(mint) and the chips were crispy and really tasty and they have a homemade tartar sauce as well, but overall food is great. I gave 4 because I know there are still room for improvement. The staff were accommodating as well despite all the busyness.

Absolutely excellent in every way. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, however busy they are, and extremely efficient. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting - definitely my favourite place to go to , either alone or with friends. Thank you!

I enjoy visits to Coffee#1. Had a pot of tea this time and a flapjack. It was quite small and not worth Ā£2.65. I know costs are high, but this was not value for money. It's a good place with a variety of seats and tables.

Lovely iced coffee and coffee. Server was really friendly however the lady preparing the drinks seemed quiet harassed and not very friendly when asked if there was any straws and answered very stressful "we don't have any straws" no means of an apology or explanation. Found it quiet blunt and rude. Shame as the ambience was so lovely but would consider whether to return or not.

Went in Costa first and it was so cold and lacking in atmosphere that we turned around and left, and walked up to Coffee #1 instead, and how glad I am that we did! Amazing atmosphere, wonderfully funny & welcoming staff, and the coffeeās delicious and very reasonably priced. Plenty of space and comfy chairs, dogs welcome, really lovely, weāll be back!

Best coffee i've had in Coffee#1 just now. Hot, thick frothy milk and she even cleansed my reusable cup for me! its a f4 star however, as there are very few sockets - almost as bad as the Costa hereš
