Very cosy pub with friendly staff loved the soup as it was delicious, definitely recommend a visit.
This is a wonderful old English inn dated from 1540. Has loads of character & charm. We had Sunday roast here... Was fabulous, prices are very reasonable. Staff are friendly, helpful... Inn has wonderful atmosphere. We also stopped here for afternoon tea with Dorset Apple Cake... Again fabulous. Highly recommend
Lovely welcoming traditional pub. We only stopped for coffee and dessert but really enjoyed it. Pets are welcome. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food a little pricey but good size portions and tasty.
Outstanding! A proper classic British pub, would definitely return. The real deal. What an excellent welcome we received, the girls working there gave such warm hospitality! They were both fantastic! Nice fire too! Can’t recommend enough!
Lovely country pub. Classic thatched roof and covered in vines and lots of atmosphere inside the pub. The bar maid was training a new person while we were there, and she was patient and thoughtful. There were about 5 dogs sitting quietly during lunch, and the atmosphere was great. The food was excellent, as was the beer.
