Went there today to price up internal doors. The ones we wanted were only £1 more than B and Q but the door furniture we chose was ,£5 per set cheaper. All in all we saved about £10 and supported a local shop. They've offered delivery for free as we spent quite a bit. The guys there were extremely helpful. Something you don't always get from big stores. Surprisingly well stocked shop and able to order if not in. Glad we went there before buying elsewhere.

99%of the time I find what I was after and more besides, much cheaper than B&Q and helpful friendly staff, love this place

DIY is a very serious business to me and to be honest I knew little or nothing about repairing or replacing anything beyond the very basics,but now thanks to the fantasticly informative and "novice" friendly service at the Handyman's Stores I have gained many new skills in the plumbing and general household repairs there is an endless amount of tools and equipment and supplies available, so a huge thank you to all the guys in the shop and long may you remain the Number One DIY store in Wigan Lancashire.

I can honestly say that Neil has been amazing. From first contact to completion of every job (and there has been a few and more to be booked!) It is rare to find someone that you can trust implicitly to be in your home, be meticulous in his work and be completely honest and upfront regarding cost and realistic expectations in what you would like versus what is achievable. I have found in Neil an irreplaceable handyman that is not only a nice guy, he is professional, hard working and nothing is too much trouble.

Neil fitted an outside coach light and and a side security light and did an excellent job. He wired the security light through an indoor socket and did a very neat job, both inside and outside. Cleaned up all the waste instead of leaving it for me to do like other contractors do. A couple of days later i asked Neil if he could adjust the sensors for me and he was there ASAP. Would definitely recommend him.

Phoned Neil and explained that we had tried to change our light/sockets,and had hit a problem with a three way switch over three levels in our home. Lucky for us he was local,he came around and looked at the job and arranged a day to come and sort the issues out. On time, respectful of property,all issues sorted and switches/sockets all changed and working. Would recommend

We hired Stalybridge Handyman & Painter to paint our daughter’s and son’s bedrooms. The painting crew from the company came on time and provided us with the best service we could ask for. Our kids were as well very happy with how their new bedrooms look like.

Stalybridge Handyman & Painter came a few minutes prior to start time so that they could be perfectly punctual. The team was completely tidy, courteous and particular about their work. I loved how they managed to complete the work earlier in the day than expected. They left the house tidier than it was to start with! You can't really ask for better than that. I'll be having them in to do some more painting soon!

I used Wilson's Handyman Services to do my bathroom.The work was done to a high standard.This was tiled floor to ceiling with a new toilet & sink. Des had some great ideas about hiding my boiler but also making it accessible for inspections.This has improved the look of the bathroom.l am very happy with the work and would not hesitate to use him again.

If i could give 10 Stars I would , really helpful depot . Trina has been fantastic , they have the best prices and the service is excellent, very accomodating friendly and great communication. I over ordered my blocks and it wasnt a problem they delivered in stages and then credited the excess without any fuss. A real pleasure to deal with in this day and age .

Excellent Service, got what I needed after salesperson showed me what I needed. This was I the Wigan area. Shame about the Preston Branch they sold me the wrong product even after asking the person who got the item for me to ask the sales team again! I live in Preston five minutes away from Preston branch though I will be visiting the one near Ashton in Maker field more often!!

Kris has done several jobs for me, both big and small, and I can fully recommend him. He has recently made some excellent built-in shelves and a cupboard for our lounge (a skilled job), plus painting and decorating and other things - all done expertly, cheerfully and for a good price. I can't recommend Kris enough. He looked at our bathroom, asked us our budget, then completely redesigned it to keep within our budget. He literally ripped everything out and started from scratch.
