David is an excellent workman. He arrived on time and did such an amazing job of doing all the odd jobs I had piled up for years! He put up all my canvases, and various other items, installed a shower screen and has made my flat feel a lot cosier and homely. David is an excellent handyman and a consummate professional. He cleaned the flaking paint off my decking, re-painted and re-stained it quickly and with no fuss. He did a great job but rain came shortly afterwards - when I asked him back to apply another coat, he did so promptly and willingly. Extremely polite, courteous and communicates well. I will definitely use him again for any future work around the house.

Alpeng is a brilliant handyman in every sense. Works briskly but with great attention to detail; very courteous and considerate; follows the brief accurately; and is reasonably priced. So far he’s built a playhouse to a high standard (when he offered to go above and beyond to improve my paving base too) and done a number of handyman tasks like mounting a TV, installing curtain rails and shelves. Top marks!

The customer service and workmanship was excellent from start to finish. Nothing was too much and we’re happy to help wherever I needed them. I was looking to have my new house fully re decorated complete with new floorings throughout. Plus to have my drive tidied up and my back yard too. What can I say, from start to finish both Didi and Claire was just amazing throughout the entire process. Nothing was too much trouble and the overall end result and their friendless and customer service was simply outstanding. Went there today to price up internal doors. The ones we wanted were only £1 more than B and Q but the door furniture we chose was ,£5 per set cheaper. All in all we saved about £10 and supported a local shop. They've offered delivery for free as we spent quite a bit. The guys there were extremely helpful. Something you don't always get from big stores. Surprisingly well stocked shop and able to order if not in. Glad we went there before buying elsewhere.

Great shop to live near. I have bought many things off them over the years and it was always my grandad's go-to place for odds and ends. They will help you find what you're looking for if you want, so you're in and out pretty quick every time, and they cut timber to the size you need if you ask them. If you take in a list of things you're after, they'll walk you round the shop and show you the selection they have for each item and discuss which option will be the best for the job you're working on. Definitely worth checking in here if you're nearby to see what you can get cheaper than B&Q. I'm closer to this place anyway and can go to the nursery just up the road in Bickershaw for garden stuff so I've stopped bothering with B&Q in recent years.
