Where to start! This guy is just all round wonderful! Friendly, professional and very skilled! He did everything he was required to do and more! Changed over our lights switches and even wired in our electric hob and oven. All electrics sorted. Would 100% recommend! Update we had them back to fit a new flush valve in our cistern that was leaking and all is good there too! Perfectly done

Richard and his team have just finished out extension and we are both extremely happy on the quality of the overall build project. Going into our first build project was always going to be a daunting experience, but by choosing Tonge Builders from day 1 we were made to feel at ease. Richard and his team (from plumbers, to electricians to joiners) every single one has been trustworthy, experienced and highly skilled in their profession and have done a sterling job. Richard and his son Lewis built a single storey extension to our kitchen, which we now use as an open plan kitchen/living room. He is very friendly and approachable. He keeps you up to date with everything, and talks you through different options to make sure you are happy with your choices. He uses a really good team of tradesmen, we were so impressed with the joiner who fitted our new kitchen, plasterers, electrician and plumber. Everything was co-ordinated to happen at the right time. He even found us a painter at the the last minute, who also did an excellent job. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Richard and his team. He is dependable and trustworthy and is willing to go the extra mile in order to get the job completed to an excellent standard. We are more than happy with the extension and can’t thank him enough for the work he has done.

Richard & Lewis built a large two story extension for me and undertook a full-house refurbishment including plumbing, re-wire, moving walls, plastering and external works. Richard is approachable, easy to deal with, speaks common sense and is able to manage all aspects of the project. He brings the best trades to support the job (the people you don't find easily as they are so good they are booked up - plasterers, electrician, plumbers, joiners, decorators, tilers and more!). Richard managed all these trades and the overall job to the highest standards. I had lots of specific requirements on layout, materials and electrical (including an advanced home automation system) that he not only understood but was enthusiastic about being involved in! I have no hesitation in recommending Richard, our work with him is now continuing into the garden for ground works and terrace building work / retaining walls. Quite simply I wouldn't use anyone else.

Lukas had recently worked on our bathroom. Namely adding uPVC cladding to the ceiling, changing the light fitting and replacing the sealant around the shower. What a nice man, a real pleasure to have him in our home. He's knowledgeable and advised on a better way forward with the shower due to there being an excessively large gap between bottom of panel and the shower tray and what he's done looks far better than original. He's very reasonably priced and I would have no hesitation in recommending his services and am lining up other work we need doing by Lukas.

First Job - I got in touch with Lukasz to put up a house sign and basket ball hoop. He responded straight away and within a few days completed the jobs. Lukasz is a really nice guy who is capable of pretty much any DIY job. Don't hesitate to contact him if you need any work doing. Will definitely contact him again for future projects. I contacted Elias the night before and got a response in the morning advising me that the TVs I wanted could be put up on plasterboard/dry wall - I needed two TVs putting up (65 and 75 inch), I asked Elias if it'd be okay if he came that very day and he did! He was very knowledgeable, knew what needed to be done, made sure to explain things and even let me try out the bracket to make sure it wouldn't go anywhere! He was very friendly and funny - went above and beyond for me and I can't thank him enough. The TVs look so beautiful on my wall and he even moved a mirror for me.
