Really good and love the result. Got my hair dyed for the first time there and Michelle was so nice. A really friendly place got to sit and chat and have a cup of tea whilst having my hair done. Reasonably priced as well which is great. My boyfriend has been going there for a while and recommended. Would recomend for anyone in the area of Hebden to use

Had a colour and cut here today. All the girls are lovely and really know what they're doing and they listen to what you want. Prices are good compared to other salons I've been to. Love my new hair. Won't go anywhere else now.

The staff are fab. As an ex hairdresser I can tell a good cut from a poor one and as a new customer I was very pleased with my experience and it was one of the best cuts Iv had in a while. Prices you would expect from a good place and knowledgeable staff.

Updated June 2019. Little gem in the middle of Hebden Bridge, just across the road from the Picture House. Warm and welcoming and very reasonably priced. According to the price list a dry cut for women is under £20 but oddly the amount you're actually charged is prone to change on the day. I have short hair which takes around 45 minutes to cut and have been charged 3 different amounts in the last few months. All a bit random and hard to get your head around ;-) but I would still recommend.

What a great place for our 4yo daughter to have her haircut. So much effort goes into it with glitter, and face paint, and transfer tattoos! She’s not stopped talking about it! Beautifully decorated. And even a cup of coffee for mum and dad while we wait. Perfect!

Took my step-daughter here for her hair cut and Amy did an amazing job! She cut it exactly the way that my step-daughter wanted it and Amy gave her loads of tips on how to take care of her hair and style it. Thoroughly recommend Mark at Northern Roots. He is amazing! I only have a trim and a wash and blow dry but my hair feels fantastic Lovely clean relaxed salon and the back massage chairs while you have your hair washed are an added luxury

Massive recommendations to visit Valley Hair Design. Service & staff have always been spot on. So much so after moving 30 miles away year ago, reluctant to change Hairdressers as always been so happy with results. I’ve been bringing my 12 year old daughter here too and she’s always delighted with her results. Claire is excellent at listening to customer needs, and delivering on them. She’s also great at understanding hair types and advising what will and won’t work-brilliant USP! Kathryn is extremely knowledgeable, her attention to detail is incredible and great value for money. I've had peaks and troughs with my hair, but I've never been more astounded and impressed with my hair than when I left. Will always return, will always recommend.

I visited this salon today for the first time. A lovely young lady named Olivia was my stylist, sat and discussed with me exactly what I wanted giving help and advice without being intrusive. Explained very clearly every step of the way, really took her time with my cut which is perfect and exactly what I wanted. I am delighted with the result and I only sorry I do not live in Hebden Bridge as I would be here every week visiting Olivia. Thank you so much.

Well, we gave them the uneviable task of cutting and styling the hair of a very particular 16-year-old young man who has had the same long hair style for around five years. He took a reference photo with him showing what he wanted. Of course he was never going to like it straight afterwards. It was his first adult 'styling', so the shock of the new and all that. So it was a sullen chap that left the salon. However, the salon were really patient with him, and did a brilliant job styling his thick, long, knotty mop into something very close to what he wanted. It's now a few days after the event and the young man has slowly got used to his new contemporary style. I also think he is more used to the fact that it shows him off, rather than being something he can hide behind as was. Although he'd never admit it to me (I'm his dad, so of course not!), I know him well enough to know he really loves it and rightly so. The Zeitgeist Hair staff are superb. I cannot promise that we won't be back though, so apologies in advance! Thank you.
