Last week, I visited this new place based on a friend’s recommendation, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! I had a Brazilian wax and a facial with Lucia, who was absolutely amazing. She made me feel completely comfortable during the waxing process and was so kind and professional. The facial was just as incredible—my skin looks flawless! I’m already booking my next appointment in two weeks and will definitely be recommending Lucia to my friends.

I had my first consultation and patch test with Katie yesterday and knew immediately that I'd made the right choice. I felt very comfortable and at ease with Katie and she explained everything carefully. The treatment room was very clean and hygienic and I know I'm going to be in safe, caring hands

I have been going to Jo for a number of years now for regular cut and blow drys, however more recently I had tape extentions put in. Jo is excellent, and has done such a fab job on my extentions. She gave lots of advice on how to maintain and my hair looks completely natural. I fully recommend her. I know with Jo I always get honesty about what could work or not, and she will not do something she thinks will not suit. Thank you Jo x

I've been seeing Jo for 3 years and it's taken me 20 years to find her! Absolutely love my highlights and also had hair extensions in the past which looked very natural and felt comfortable. Jo has plenty of knowledge on colour and hairstyles too. Always a warm welcome and plenty of chat! Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Vintage Rock have been in the town for quite a while now and I've used them pretty much exclusively over the years for a pretty standard wash, cut and blow dry. They have been pretty reliable too. The salon itself is lovely with great decor and is just by Morrisons so very central in town. They also have expanded what they offer in terms of hair/nail/beauty too! They offer online booking too which is a help and you can book appointments with a deposit. My usual stylist Katie, I think has left now so there are new faces and a little bit of a sea change in store (they used to always ask if you wanted a drink too!) She was fantastic, great at a cut and a blow dry and really did it well. I've just been in at the weekend and was a little disappointed. Nothing to do with skill, it just felt a bit rushed and the end result wasn't as good as I've had before. I've mostly had good experiences but I think that with my pretty boring hair cut, I'm not really their target market anymore (I'm quite forgettable too so they probably don't have a clue who I am!). I think they are a good salon and love an edgy cut but it is so dependent on the stylist and your relationship with them.

My usual salon was fully booked so I tried this salon. I only have a wash and rough dry as I can't do it myself as I'm disabled. The salon is nicely decorated, the young girl who washed my hair was polite and sweet. My hair was washed properly. Not keen on the disposable towels to be honest but everything else was just fine. Will use this salon as my spare when mine are fully booked :) EDIT: Used Christina's services to have my ruined nails sorted. FAB job, very pleased, feel human again. Lovely lady to talk to and very professional :)

I visited Ozlem, for the first time, who threaded my eyebrows. Ozlem was absolutely lovely and made me feel welcomed. She took time to listen to how I liked the shape of my eyebrows and completed them to perfection. It was also painless which was great. My experience was brilliant. Ozlem was professional but friendly, her workstation was very clean and before you know it you're finished. I would highly recommend and I will be booking again.

This was my 4th visit to Shwe for a back, neck and shoulder massage. I have had lots of massages in some top hotels, and I can honestly say that the quality at Shwe is just as good, and indeed better than some. Warm and friendly service in a nice environment. Merits a 5-star rating.

I had a neck, back, shoulder & Indian head massage with Jess and she was amazing! Highly recommend. Only thing that disrupts the chill vibe is the passing noise on the other side of the treatment room as it’s close to reception but I don’t think that can be helped. Massage was great though!

I use to live in Enfield and now just outside of Peterborough, I will make any journey I have to, just to come here! Stephie is an absolute joy, she’s just so lovely and a special shoutout to Alex- she’s done my hair twice now and I am so impressed by her.
