Can't recommend this place enough. I recently got married and was lucky enough to have Jana do my hair on the morning of the wedding. Her skill is incredible and she created exactly what i'd pictured in my head. She's so friendly and did an incredible job on my maid of honours hair as well! 100% would recommend!!

I've been going to Katie Burrows-Kerr for years now and she always does an amazing job. I love the way I feel when I leave the salon, even if it's just from a simple trim. I had my first salon colour last time (previously always home dyed) and I was so happy with the end result, my hair was so vibrant and shiny as well as being super soft! The atmosphere in the salon is always really friendly. I find going into some salons quite intimidating but everyone at MeraKi is so welcoming.

Kelly & Hope recently did the makeup for my Wedding and we were all over the moon with the service we received! I had a makeup trial before the Wedding which was really enjoyable and helped to give us an idea of what we wanted to do on the day. Kelly & Hope were amazing on the day and made us all look incredible! We received so many compliments and they provided (as always) a professional and friendly service. It was lovely having them at the venue with us as we were getting ready and everyone’s makeup looked amazing all day long! I cannot thank Akemi Spa enough for helping us ladies all look fab on my big day! Thank you!

The owner Kelly has an infectious smile that says, “you’re in good hands.” The massages are more than enjoyable, they are a health necessity if rejuvenation, balance, and relaxation are your goals. I highly recommend a day of pampering and self care. Get a mani and pedi! Slump in and prance out, you won’t regret it! Prices are reasonable, service top notch, staff professional, and welcoming. Don’t go to Dorchester without visiting Akemi Spa.

I had my 2nd Pedicure with Caitlin so pleased with it she remove my last Shellac varnish then cut and filed my nails before applying a new varnish. Caitlin is lovely friendly and professional highly recommended.

So pleased to have found The Sanctuary! Sam does the most amazing Bio Sculpture nails. They have lasted so much better than any other gel I’ve had in the past, and the selection of colours is great. Lovely friendly and welcoming atmosphere too 😊 highly recommend!

My third visit to have my nails done with Demi. They always look lovely and biab definitely helps keep them strong, with a such a choice if colours. Today springvus in the air so we went with pink of course. Demi is very professional, always polite and really friendly highly recommended.

Been coming to Serenity regularly for 4 years now for several different treatments and never once have I been disappointed. This latest visit was for my usual manicure with Jazz. I let Jazz choose something for me and I've come away with the most fabulous and stunning nail art. The Serenity staff are excellent at making sure you have the most rewarding and relaxing visit and really take the time to get to know you. And the services are not just for women either - my husband visits for his massage treatments.

I had the lovely hairdresser Mea do a full head of highlights on my hair. Such a comfortable environment and all the stuff made sure that you got something to drink and was looked after. The hair turned out beautifully. Would highly recommend.

I have been going to Robin James for 12 years because of its quality and consistency. Aveda colours are also very kind to the hair. Joanne has been my hair stylist since she qualified. She really cares about her work and takes pride in doing a really good job. She is talented and thoughtful and fun to spend an hour or two with! I totally recommend her services without reservation.

I had the most amazing experience at my hair appointment today! I went in for the Fusio Dose Kerastase Treatment followed by a haircut, and it was exactly what my damaged hair needed. The appointment started with a heavenly head and neck massage that instantly helped me relax—it was such a wonderful touch. The treatment itself was phenomenal; my hair already feels so much healthier and nourished. And then came the haircut—Amelia, she did an incredible job! Fabulous eco and thoughtful salon. It was a real treat to have my hair done by Emily and it's honestly the best cut and blow dry I've had in years. Emily cut my hair and I felt relaxed and comfortable the moment I stepped in. She listened to what I wanted and cut my hair the way I wanted. It’s a cosy and tranquil space. I’ve booked in for another appointment and look forward to using the beauty treatments one day. I recommend checking how to get to the parking area before arriving as this was a bit tricky.

I live going to Heather Hair Salon in Dorchester. After a several very bad experiences at other hair salons I have found that Heather and her team are caring, friendly and supportive. They have restored my faith in hairdressers and I now look forward to having my hair done. I can't recommend them enough. So glad I found a hairdresser I can trust.
