I have been going to Robin James for 12 years because of its quality and consistency. Aveda colours are also very kind to the hair. Joanne has been my hair stylist since she qualified. She really cares about her work and takes pride in doing a really good job. She is talented and thoughtful and fun to spend an hour or two with! I totally recommend her services without reservation.

I had the lovely hairdresser Mea do a full head of highlights on my hair. Such a comfortable environment and all the stuff made sure that you got something to drink and was looked after. The hair turned out beautifully. Would highly recommend.

Everything happens for a reason and in my case this couldn’t be more true. After a previous booking with another hair and makeup artist got cancelled, I contacted Bex in a panic to see if she had any availability for me. Bex was so helpful and accommodating and when I went for my hair and makeup trial, I couldn’t have wished for anything better. Bex has such a calming presence about her and this was definitely something I needed on the morning of my wedding day. How my hair and makeup looked was so much more than I could have dreamed off and she made me and my bridal party feel so beautiful. Shout out to any future brides, book Bex, you won’t be disappointed.

Bex is amazing at what she does! Hair, make up and even helping out with other little details. I loved my hair and make up in my trial but loved it even more on the day. It was an absolute pleasure having Bex do mine and my bridesmaids hair and makeup for my wedding. She is a true professional! so friendly and efficient but also incredibly talented. She easily adapted to each of our chosen hairstyles and makeup looks and executed them all beautifully. We were all delighted with the end results and better yet!... they lasted all day/night. The makeup was so tasteful and classic and it stayed in place all day and didn't crack or crease. I opted for a half up, half down hairstyle with a Hollywood wave, which for someone with very heavy and thick hair, I was nervous about but it honestly was perfect and stayed in place so well all day. I couldn't recommend Bex enough! she's just FAB!!! xoxox

Today was my first visit to Beautifully Gorgeous and it certainly won’t be my last. Claire was so lovely and welcoming and did an absolutely cracking job on my nails. Since my usual salon closed down I’ve had a couple of poor experiences and feel so happy to have found this salon and such a lovely beauty therapist in Claire. Can’t wait to go back!

I recently took my 3 year old daughter here for her first trim of her slow growing curly locks. I also had my 6 year son in tow. It was just before Christmas so the salon was very busy. We arrived just in the nick of time and were made very welcome. Although it was crowded, space was quickly made for us to get seated and Kate was attended to with professionalism and care. My son can be a little energetic at times and did wander down the salon a couple of times to be rapidly called back by me. At no time did I feel that there was any negative feedback from that by the staff. In fact the children were offered a sweet as a treat and the staff enaged with them when they could particularly Natalie the owner. Kate left feeling very happy. While I was sat there, I was able to observe the quality of the work that the team were creating for the clients of all ages. I would highly recommend and look forward to taking Kate along in future.

I visited for the first time after months of needing a cut. The staff were warm and welcoming , which was a fabulous first impression. My assigned styling was very honest, letting me know that she would prefer to pass me to a more senior stylist, due to my hairstyle. I appreciated this honesty. My cut wasn't cheap but it was really well done and I like the finished style. The head massage was wonderful and so relaxing ! I think I probably overshared my life (! Lol)but my stylist, who I believe is the proprietor, was very lovely and didn't once show any kind of impatience with me..she was great!

What a fabulous & welcoming place to go and be pampered on the day of my daughter's wedding. Went 27/07/24. Jordan restyled my hair and hid all the blemishes with lovely make up. New Image are amazing. They give great advice, they listen to what you would like and if that is not possible they explain why and talk you through alternative options always listening to you along the way. Nikki (excuse possible spelling error) is the ONLY hairdressers that has given me what I have asked for since I was 20 (I'm 35 now!). She is a master of hair in all ways. Full of knowledge, which she is able to transfer to explain her thoughts, and it helps guide you in a direction - especially when you have no clue about hair like myself. Niķki was left in a bit of a situation before Christmas and she was juggling so much, but she managed to still fit me in for a 9am - 2pm appointment to completey transform my hair from a mirage of box dye to a gorgeous lighter balayage to look more natural. Also, for my thick hair sisters and brothers: Nikki curled my hair and made them stay!!!! That has NEVER happened before!!! Thank you Nikki, you're a star 🌟

Absolutely superb! From start to finish, welcoming, friendly, took time to explain options, gave advice, the skin fade cut was spot on and the perm looks incredible! Excellent salon, welcoming friendly atmosphere with lovely girls who know what they are doing to make you feel relaxed and comfortable whilst being pampered which is what we all need.
