What a fabulous salon!!! I moved to Dorset from West London last year, and was concerned about the quality of hairdressing in a country village, being used to going to Trevor Sorbie. I needn't have worried when I chose the Salon on the square.... A beautiful environment, highly professional stylists and colorists... I had balayage and a really sassy bob cut.... I look fantastic!!! I had my first cut and colour with Claire.. She's brilliant (and sweet and funny), then, as she wasn't available for colour next time, I was looked after by Poppy, who was equally accomplished, and so, so lovely! Back again today for an even sassier and shorter bob with Claire again, and, after cutting my hair beautifully, I asked for shorter she obliged with a smile - even though she missed her lunch, due to me being THAT customer... You know, the one that's a bit of a pain in the A**. Bless her. Go.. Have a great experience!

First time visiting today. Lesley came highly recommended, and as I found out, for good reason! Lesley treated me as an old friend, whilst remaining professional - which really put me at ease as I was very nervous coming to a new place. She did a super job on my hair, listening to what I wanted whilst giving her own opinion on what would look best. Thank you so much.

Janemarie and all the team have been and continue to be amazing, they have looked after me so well, having broken my shoulder it has been impossible to wash my hair and do my nails, so I have been a regular visitor the past 3 weeks, and they have been so generous and caring. My first CACI facial (got a block of 10 as a birthday present) and Sharon was brilliant. She talked me through what the process and checked I was OK throughout. And it was great - restful and pampering. I don’t look twenty years younger (yet!) but my skin is glowing and I feel very relaxed. Can’t wait for session two.

Had my hair done on Saturday by the lovely Jodie, as always they were so friendly. Felt fabulous as I left following my much needed cut and colour. So glad to see the team back again

Jodie was amazing great haircut so happy, really took the time to listen to what I wanted & executed it perfectly, lots of professional hair advice, great chat & lovely friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend & will definitely be booking again.

Having talked with Adam and given him some idea of what I wanted style-wise, I left the details to him and am absolutely thrilled with the result. Best haircut I've ever had (and five weeks on it still looks good). All my friends have commented on how well the style suits me, a number have asked me where I had it done and at least one friend has called in to SGM Hair as a result. I don't live on the doorstep, but will now happily make the 45-mile round trip to Dorchester. A 100% positive experience. Oh, and they serve great coffee, too!

Wow! I messaged to have my hair done, with in 24 hours I was in the salon for a consultation, that evening all was in place and a few days later my hair was transformed I wanted it done ASAP and it was and saying that! A TOP job was done and couldn't fault the service and just how amazing the salon was . Thank-you for making me feel great!

Amber has literally transformed my hair into something amazing. Amber is friendly and made me feel comfortable straight away. I wasn’t sure how short I wanted my hair at first but I am so happy with my cut. Definitely would recommend this hair salon to anyone! :)

I had my 2nd Pedicure with Caitlin so pleased with it she remove my last Shellac varnish then cut and filed my nails before applying a new varnish. Caitlin is lovely friendly and professional highly recommended.

I had the lovely hairdresser Mea do a full head of highlights on my hair. Such a comfortable environment and all the stuff made sure that you got something to drink and was looked after. The hair turned out beautifully. Would highly recommend.

I had the most amazing experience at my hair appointment today! I went in for the Fusio Dose Kerastase Treatment followed by a haircut, and it was exactly what my damaged hair needed. The appointment started with a heavenly head and neck massage that instantly helped me relax—it was such a wonderful touch. The treatment itself was phenomenal; my hair already feels so much healthier and nourished. And then came the haircut—Amelia, she did an incredible job! She truly understood what I wanted and worked her magic to bring my vision to life. I can’t thank her enough for her attention to detail and care. I was so impressed with the results that I booked another treatment with Amelia before leaving the salon. I’m already looking forward to it because this was by far the best treatment I’ve had. Couldn’t recommend Afina enough. Always such a lovely experience! Jodie does my hair and she is so thorough, and does an amazing job. The owner Emilee is so lovely and welcoming. If you want an all round amazing experience from the second you walk in the door to the second you walk out - this is your place!!

Having visited Alfina for the first time yesterday, I cannot recommend it enough. I booked in to get colour, a cut and a blow dry with Emilee and she absolutely perfected the look I was going for. I arrived with hair that had been left for over a year and a half, that really needed some attention and I left feeling so happy with my new style. Thank-you Emilee! The salon itself is such a wonderful, calm and inviting space. There’s lots of complimentary drinks to choose from and if you’re caught off guard - they even have tampons, deodorant and other toiletries in the bathroom - such a nice touch! If you’re looking to find a hairdresser that makes you feel super comfortable and listened to, I cannot recommend Emilee at Alfina more. I will definitely be back!

Afina Hair and Beauty is a lovely salon - it's stylish, friendly and welcoming. It has a bright and airy atmosphere. Eleanor is a great stylist - very happy with my haircut and highlights. Amy did a fantastic job with my manicure and pedicure. Highly recommend

Emilee is the best hairdresser I have ever been to. Used to have a lot of anxiety after a bad experience at a different hairdressers, but since going to Emilee for the past two years - i have never felt more confident in myself or my hair. Couldn’t recommend her more, followed her from different salons and now she’s bossing her own!! Incredible hairdresser and the pics speak for themselves💜

We had a wonderful afternoon at Monart Spa for hubby's birthday. It was the perfect way to unwind and relax. The spa is beautiful and tranquil, we loved that it was adults only and that it wasn't overbooked. We were almost always alone in every room, which made the experience even more special and relaxing. Everything was spotless and beautifully designed, we loved the cold shower in the steam room and the aromatic highland mist in the experience showers ❤️ We had coffee and fresh fruit in the relaxation area and the service was incredibly friendly and kind. We felt like royalty! The three hours were enough to explore the spa and have a half hour coffee/fruit break before leaving. This was the perfect treat, we didn't have any treatments this time due to the cost but they must be amazing. We highly recommend Monart spa for a special day, anniversary or a girl's day out. We'll be back!

I enjoyed my time at the spa (apart from the man at the beginning, he spent far too long explaining everything ) Sadly, though the place was far too cold. I appreciate heating costs a lot of money nowadays, but surely a spa needs to be warm? I Would visit more often if they had one hour sessions. I haven’t always got the time nor the money for a three hour session at £82. It would be so lovely to pop in for one hour; a dip in the pool and half an hour in the sauna would be perfect! Perhaps it’s something you would consider guys?

I had a special pamper time at Monart Spa, a birthday treat from my children. The whole spa had a very tranquil feel and I made good use of the saunas and pool. I was aware of the £50 charge if you go over your alloted time, so rushed my tea and treats to make sure I had left the spa within my 3 hours. This was the only downside. I would like to say thank you to Daisy for an amazing facial and Amy for excellent service.

Wonderful experience at this lovely spa. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly, making to feel at home. The faculties are the best I’ve found at a UK spa. The spa doesn’t feel crowded, as there are a limited number of people allowed in at any time. They think of lovely little personal touches and this made it such a fantastic day! Thanks

Incredible experience for both my daughter and I. My daughter had a balayage colour with a cut and blow dry, I had a cut and blow dry. Made to feel welcome from entering to leaving. We'll definitely be back!

I’ve been going to Kira for a few years now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. She’s so professional and friendly, let alone an incredible hair dresser. She always listens to my needs and is so accommodating, my hair has never been in better condition thanks to her. I would recommend Kira & TJW salon to anyone!
