I've been coming to Redlocks since I moved to the area 7 years ago and I am so glad I found them. I used to move hairdressers every couple of cuts as I felt they always started well and then lost interest but it is a completely opposite experience here. Both Rosie and Dave have cut and coloured my hair over the years with a professional but personal level of service, plus a great level of banter. Dave has been great with advice on types of cuts and colours and what works for me instead of of the usual standard cuts you might get elsewhere and I always get compliments on a fresh trim There is a reason the salon keeps winning awards - the whole team clearly take pride in what they do and offering the best they can. Highly recommended :)

Absolutely amazing!! Was recommended by my sister who used to work there, I’ve been wanting blonde hair for ages so booked a consolation with Julia who was absolutely stunning! I have dark hair which I knew would be a struggle to get to blonde but she went above and beyond! Despite the very long process my hair is amazing I couldn’t be more happier! Thank you to the two lovely gentleman who were working on the day too, they kept complimenting my hair which made me love it even more! I will definitely be coming back to get my roots done :)) thank you so much Julia for your patience!

A really professional salon with a welcoming atmosphere. I get my hair dyed and cut by Dave, who is great at listening to what you want, adding his knowledge and creating exactly what I want for my hair. Having some disabilities, Dave is always very attentive and ensures I’m feeling ok and comfortable at each stage of my appointment, making little adaptations to accommodate me to make sure I can manage the appointment. Rosie is a wonderful salon owner, and her passion and ethos shines through in the staff she has. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I found Dave by searching for the best hairdresser in Bournemouth, and he truly lives up to the name! I've been so happy with my hair since Dave started cutting and colouring it. I receive lovely compliments on my hair, and even my friends have started to book with him too. If you're looking for a talented hairdresser who delivers fantastic results every time, I can't recommend Dave enough!

Dave did an amazing job with my hair and really is an expert. As someone who was always reluctant to go to the hairdressers and has admittedly neglected my hair over the years… Dave transformed it into exactly how I wanted it and is someone you can 100% trust with your hair and also listens to what you want and makes it a comfortable experience.
